I think rejecting 300 applications in Austin, TX for not having proper voter ID would be something everyone can agree on. Even Democrats should be saying "oh thankfully it's only a mere 300 and not 30,000." 300 is a happy medium.

If these 300 were shenanigans, perhaps these 300 failed ensures that they won't try for more. If these were legit real people filing, at this far out, these 300 people can still refile applications with appropriate IDs.

Austin pulled some serious shit in 2020. The counting center in Austin shut out republican poll watchers just like they did in Philly. They even had one woman arrested because she refused to leave when they wanted to start their shenanigans.

This is how Adler and his Politburo keep hold of the city. Yes there are plenty of commie fuckups in Austin that keep voting for them because it means they can get high in public and not get arrested, but if they weren't fucking with the counts Adler would lose some seats in the city council and maybe even his fucking job.

32
OrangeElvis 32 points ago +32 / -0

I know her (the woman arrested). She was also running for office and canvassed her entire district and there was no way she lost. It isn't just the fake votes. There is basically no chain of custody for the thumb drives that hold the counted votes - thus she was arrested to record how they handled them.

OrangeElvis 16 points ago +16 / -0

BTW - the guy who won was endorsed by Abbott. RINOs are in on it.

14
TommyJarvis 14 points ago +15 / -1

The spiderweb network of riggers in Texas (and elsewhere) have countless avenues to execute fraud. Republicans were forced due to the Consent Decree to ignore voter fraud for years and so this network grew unabated.

The only way to smash it is with draconian voter fraud punishments. Arrest a rigger and they're looking at a state felony with a mandatory 20 years if convicted and they'll start turning states witness. Then the next up the chain is facing mandatory 20 years, they'll turn. Then the next up the chain, and so on.

This is how the mob has been fought successfully. It takes willpower and political muscle - two things I fear Texas Republicans lack. They are too much in the vein of Greg Abbott, who fancies himself the "Purple Governor" that everyone loves.

14
Salt_n_Pepe 14 points ago +14 / -0

Vote fraud really is treason and should result in execution

5

My gosh - i forgot about that content decree. What in the HELL was the thinking agreeing to that?! I never heard a good explanation.

I think Huffheines may be our best alternative. I "like" all three GOP candidates running against Abbott, but Huffeines is more in the mold of Trump (already rich) but with political knowledge and connections from his time in the Senate.

1
TommyJarvis 1 point ago +2 / -1

I’m torn between West and Huffines.

2
OrangeElvis 2 points ago +2 / -0

Pretty much my stance as well. However, I watched the debate and they all acquitted themselves well. I will say this - the way West reportedly handled the Jan 6th issue was not optimal. I read he threw all the Trump supporters in DC under the bus. That and Huffhines has the in-depth knowledge of how things work in Austin and he came out in front for me.

1
7thGenTexan 1 point ago +1 / -0

Texas does not need a carpetbagger in any political office, but they damn sure don’t need one in the governor’s mansion. Alan West may be a good guy, but he is a carpetbagger and has no business in Texas politics. We need a Texas native in that position, and one that hopefully will be along the lines of Trump.

Everything in Austin got worse when the prop to abolish external audits passed (suspiciously)

I guarantee they didn't catch all of them. 300 is wei tu lo.

4
QLARP 4 points ago +5 / -1

300 is about what I suspected.

In voter person fraud seems very ineffective.

Register twice so one person can vote twice?

2 volunteers is 2 illegal votes, 4 for 4, 10 for 10 extra votes.

It's like making counterfeit 1 dollar bills.

16
militarysnoopy 16 points ago +21 / -5

Tie it to land-ownership. No dem would ever get elected again, lol.

6
123breadman 6 points ago +6 / -0

Too bad Chinese investors own all the land in California. Californian's could easily afford a $2000 plot of land in literally any other state. Over here it's minimum $100K for a tiny plot near society.

3
militarysnoopy 3 points ago +4 / -1

So China gets California and we keep the rest with a proper republic?

I mean.. okay..

1
JohnFootpenis 1 point ago +1 / -0

5
unicornpoop 5 points ago +6 / -1

I'd be ok with net positive tax payers. Just because you don't own land doesn't mean you shouldn't get a say in what happens to your community. Millions of welfare votes is what is driving the politics in every single large city, which drives state politics, which drives federal representation.

4
deleted 4 points ago +5 / -1
6
Seenev 6 points ago +6 / -0

You should have to have a tax liability of more than 0 to vote. People who are a net drain on the state shouldn't get to vote on how taxes are levied or spent.

1
QLARP 1 point ago +2 / -1

Like a poll tax or something.

1
OriginalDuck 1 point ago +2 / -1

Nah, it should be 1 tax dollar gets one vote. If I am paying more tax, I should get more say in what that dollar goes to do.

Republicans cheat as well using the same bullshit system. That's why it's so hard to get MAGA candidates elected in red districts.

12
TommyJarvis 12 points ago +15 / -3

300, 400... guys, Ken Paxton had a list of 50k suspected illegal aliens that had voted in 2018 election IN HARRIS COUNTY ALONE A Clinton judge in San Antonio made him stop verifying the list... mind you, not removing them, simply VERIFYING them... because racism, blah blah.

Add to this the scores of voter fraud cases, many of which are being thrown out, that Paxton brought after 2020.

The fact is Texas has a massive voter fraud machine in place that has countless endpoints and a spiderweb network of collaborators. The legal system can cut off some here and there, but they will just transfer their efforts to another node if the existing one is compromised.

I agree that this is a step in the right direction, but if we want to get serious, the state needs to start cracking some fucking skulls. Make voter fraud a felony with a first time mandatory sentence of 20 years, no parole and enforce the ever loving shit out of it. Then these low level riggers will start turning states witness and handing over their contacts.

TheTexan 4 points ago +4 / -0

3
QSWO1 3 points ago +3 / -0

Tarrant co had to adjudicate 23,000 early votes before the 2020 election because of a printing issue. The Venezuelan elections commissioner of Tarrant co Hieder Garcia got er done by hiring more staff. This was widely reported in local news. It is in front of your face. Who hired a Venezuelan to run elections in Tarrant co?

11
MAG_n_KAG 11 points ago +11 / -0

If requiring voter ID is voter suppression, then nearly every country on the fucking planet is engaging in voter suppression. How are we one of the few countries that is retarded enough to not require voter ID?

5
123breadman 5 points ago +5 / -0

What's really stupid is that the same liberals argue that voting is a human right, but vaccine mandates required for eating are OK because eating isn't a human right.

Those same liberals still support welfare because no human deserves to go hungry.

Mental gymnastics at their finest.

7

Reuters continues by making this a reaction by Texas to Donald Trump’s loss, claiming the “raft of voting restrictions” only happened because Donald Trump said it did

Jan. 6 was an insurrection only because the DNC/Axis said it was

2
jomten 2 points ago +2 / -0

Republican's are so inept. They could have gotten a ton of free press by volunteering their office and staff to help american's with paperwork issue's get Id's.

Democrats point out a huge problem, that some people can't get IDs because a typo on a birth certificate (allegedly), but then don't do anything to help them.

The political value of a brown american thanking a Republicans for helping them finally get an ID, and the new access to bank's and housing and jobs etc that brings is huge for PR.

Not to mention that we can point out there were only like 5 people with that issue in the first place.

2
Right_of_Sinner 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is Texas, where poll workers were caught with stacks of fake IDs and were using them to make fraudulent ballots for “drive through voting.” They have ways around the voter ID and it’s called… the voter rolls. Operatives pack the voter rolls with fraudulent people mixed in to the most used names of any county, and pull from that when they need votes. Voter ID is great, but clean and auditable Voter Rolls are the key

2
Joshua55 2 points ago +2 / -0

The only voters being suppressed are the legal voters.

It boggled my mind when Democrats started telling anyone who would listen that State Election Reform Laws are about Republicans wanting to steal elections - till just now -

Just now - I realized if even a few States manage to get Election Reform past the powerful, well-funded organized opposition what we will see the morning after that first election will shock us to the core.

So they want to be able to claim Republicans cheated.

2

Save a step, and vote Dem. Abbott is a RINO because of the ignorant demographics of Texas. West is a firebrand with a questionable past, Huffins seems to be legit without a presence, Beto has a campaign sign stolen from Whataburger. The primary splits the vote, and a dress wearing faggot from Austin wins. The split primary proves Texas is trending blue. The news reported this for years. Abbott, West, and Huffines need to berry the hatchet, and do what is right.

1
TheTexan 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nope. Abbott will win, but I'll vote Huffhines in the primary.
