Risky BJ. Those horse molars could be deadly.

Go in from the side and hit the gap between the incisors and the molars where the bit rests.

That gap is convenient for another purpose; stick two fingers in there, hook over the tongue and pull it out the side and they can't close their mouth. Learned that one from the veterinarian giving a horse a pill when I was a young sprout.

lol the space where the bridle bit goes. That is where i squirt the dewormer in. Then try to hold their head down and mouth shut so they swallow it. They are smart to it now and just stand there pretending they swallowed it waiting for me to walk away so they can spit it out. They are the smartest 1100lb 3 year olds I know.

Horses can be smart as fuck when it comes to being assholes.

We have an Appaloosa pony, when I clean out his rear hooves he farts and looks back at me and I swear to God he's smirking. Every time.

You people seem to have way too much knowledge of having sex with horses.

yes, training them and maintaining a good bond is crucial. If they want to throw a tantrum, and they do sometimes just like 3 year old toddlers, you cant do anything but get yourself hurt. There is nothing you can do about it because they are so much bigger/stronger.

They also know when you are inexperienced and will take advantage of that to be an asshole too.

Gosh, it has been DECADES, but you put how I remember it beautifully.

We had a mare with a bad habit; as soon as she felt pressure on the left stirrup (as you mount) she'd bring that hoof up and just *tap* the tip of your boot. You know the rest...

lol. Mine would puff up as you are trying to tighten the cinch so it is loose when you try to mount. If you dont notice then, when you are riding you do that cartoonish rolling almost underneath the horse.

Good info! My neighbor has two horses, and those teeth are the stuff of nightmares. (On the horse, not the neighbor)
