Never forget that every one of those dictators thought that they were doing what was morally right, and in the nations best interest.

Gotta be in a leftist area. Here in the great state of Florida, most of my neighbors said fuck that shit and went about their lives.

This is MAGA country down here.

It's all well and good until people get hungry. Even people who grow 90% of their own food will go hungry if shortages of tractor parts / consumables become long-term.

The hunger LARP is over.

It’s been 6 weeks with:

No appreciable difference on shelves.

No market indicators showing food shortages.

No reports from farmers indicating yields are low.

No evidence farm workers are on the street and not producing.

1 report about some train freight which seems like bullshit designed to protect a company which screwed up its supply.

This is basically just a RP designed to get you to pay more for food.

One good thing that came out the the pandemic which no one will talk about is that there’s a far greater realization that if you want to get paid well you better get to work.

That doesn’t mean they’re commies. It means they’re going into survival mode because their leaders have starved them.

Of course there are still Trump banners/stickers/shirts/MAGA hats everywhere I look.

Which is why they pushed to remove critical thinking and replace it with various "critical theories". If you are unable to think for yourself you are more susceptible for propaganda.

If we taught our children natural law, none of this would happen. In fact none of it COULD happen because as soon as a little tyrant stuck his head up there would be an of people who understood natural law ready to remove them permanently.

13

It is if you are a well adjusted adult. The adults that raised me gave not one shit about keeping up with the neighbors. They did what they thought was right, period. It's the unbalanced adults of today that are blown about by the winds of peer pressure and we wonder why the Millennials are so f'ed in the head.

Yianni1955 10 points ago +10 / -0

We have the numbers, ( 100+ million), and still are armed. The 2nd Amendment is still intact, though the Left is constantly trying to chip away at it. What is lacking is leadership, organization, and a strategic plan. ( though I think millions are prepping for hard times and would quickly form resistance groups locally if there was some kind of triggering event.)

12
business_narwhall 12 points ago +12 / -0

An AR15 means nothing in the hands of someone unwilling to use it. In red areas, California people are waltzing into jobs in local school districts and sheriff's departments completely under the radar and unopposed.

It's as though people need to see the destruction of the next generation first hand before they're willing to do something about it and are completely unwilling to listen to the warnings of others who have been fighting this battle for a long time.

6
Yianni1955 6 points ago +6 / -0

Sadly, apathy and denial seem to be the predominant coping methods of most people. Until these Leftist policies start having a direct and huge negative impact on people's daily lives, they just sit back and take the abuse. I feel like I'm watching a slow-motion train wreck.

Purebloods will survive and be able to write the history books on this scamdemic.

14
business_narwhall 14 points ago +14 / -0

They intend to starve us. Historically, the big famines in China each lasted 3 years. China has learned from every bad thing that ever happened in their country and weaponized it. Food's gone up in recent times, but this is just the beginning.

The government has been telling the railroads to cut back on capacity in ways that are reducing shipments of animal feeds and fertilizers. It's like they want fertilizer to be unavailable when people need it most.

A number of food processing plants have been burned to the ground recently, one of the largest ones took 8% of beef processing capacity offline.

Maybe the bird flu thing is real, maybe it isn't... but there's a lot of chicken, eggs, and turkey that won't be reaching the store shelves.

There is literally not a single piece of good news regarding food supply, and many of the negative developments haven't had a chance to fully impact food prices yet.

Even though things are expensive, 3 years supply is my personal target.

5
BoatingAccident 5 points ago +5 / -0

And they’ll blame the shortages on Russia and climate change

3
covok48 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think staffing shortages due to mask mandates, shitty low pay, and boomer retirements are doing more to harm food infrastructure than anything.

4
Cyer6 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think masks played a huge role combined with months of covid unemployment checks. Virtue signaling is important for some but your average normie working a low pay job having to wear a muzzle for 8 hours a day is miserable existence. I left a job in 2020 the day I walked in and saw everyone wearing a muzzle. Told the manager I can't wear that thing and I wasn't the only one who left. That company has been struggling to retain and recruit employees ever since and they are not woke at all. They were one of the few places that kept masks off of their employees and customers until mandated by the state and local ordinances.

16
sustainable_saltmine 16 points ago +16 / -0

Yep, and invoke "the greater good" as their motivation.

Look, as a whole, yes, we would all like to see humanity healthy happy and thriving. It's not possible. That shouldn't be your motivation. Sorry but people should be a little more selfish. Worry about your own health and stop worrying about others' and stop fretting g over who could make you sick by being in contact with them. That's why you've evolved an immune system. You don't need to be dependent on pharmaceutical drugs to stay healthy and you don't need to isolate yourself.

The people who want you to abandon your immune system for drugs and vaccines and stuff are the same ones who call evolutionary adaptations like pattern recognition and risk analysis "racist" and "stereotypes" because you're able to realize that certain groups of people commit the most crimes, or groom kids, or are likely to be sex offenders...so feeling out of place and in potential danger being in a "bad neighborhood" is not racist, or stereotyping it's using the information you have to assess what risk you might be taking going there. It evolved from our need to be aware of danger in the wild...be able to recognize signs you're about to be attacked by that lion in the tall grass that hopes you don't see him coming. They want you to stop recognizing patterns and danger because it might lead you to realize things they don't want you to.

9
RussianBot6969 9 points ago +9 / -0

The "greater good" is one of the most insidious ideas out there. It can be used to justify endless depths of evil.

I know a guy who wants Romney to run again for POTUS.

Said he is a true conservative.

So nothing surprises me anymore.

3
JeremiahKassin 3 points ago +5 / -2

Is he Mormon, because that would explain it? Some of them genuinely believed Romney was going to be a messianic figure.

7
thisguy883 7 points ago +8 / -1

No, he's not. He's Catholic.

We were talking about politics in general and brought up the topic of Trump running again in 2024. I told him that I would vote for Trump, but I would prefer someone like DeSantis that would go in and go scorched earth.

Then he brought up how he would rather have Romney run again and he would vote for him because he thought Romney was this great conservative.

Just blew me away that he thought like that.

Reassess_Reevaluate 11 points ago +11 / -0

I used to really like one of my coworkers. We talked about video games and shared our military stories and had fun at work screwing with the other people. Generally a fun guy.

Then Covid happened and he turned into a full on drooling Covidiot. He bought into the narrative 1,000,000% and went around doing things like "Hey, your mask slipped down... pull it over your nose". One day I had just finished eating my lunch when he came around to my desk and was like "Oh, I see you you're special and don't have to wear a mask" really loudly so the whole office could hear, which drew my boss to come over and reprimand me with a "Your mask protects the rest of us" argument.

For a couple of weeks he was even wearing two masks when Fauci said that one might not be enough. Now that we don't have to wear masks at work, he still wears one and enforces "social distancing" by putting up his hand to keep you back if you get too close to him.

I won't even talk to him now. His inner Hitler/Stalin came right out the moment the world gave him the opportunity.

5
Cyer6 5 points ago +5 / -0

That mask reveals everything. Now that most aren't wearing them around my area, it now isolates and identifies those like that co-worker. I was in a stop-n-rob a week ago and saw this burly looking guy in a plumbing company shirt wearing his muzzle. If he wasn't wearing it, I would've assumed he was a based guy and a possible fren.

9
dr_gonzo 9 points ago +9 / -0

Well I would have hoped most of us knew that pre-covid. The lesson that should be learned is that it's not supposed to be possible for them to have any ability to use that collective violence against their neighbor in our FREE society.

We have been allowing those collectivist neighbors to build the foundation for manifesting those authoritarian desires for 100 years now. So instead of just acknowledging that these people exist, we need to remove those mechanisms so those opportunities are gone altogether. Let them wish it all day long, freedom reigns.

In other words, we have allowed our government to become way too big and far too powerful. To oversimplify it, over 90% of that monstrosity of a government needs to be torn down.

7
RussianBot6969 7 points ago +7 / -0

All those lefties who declared themselves "the Resistance" back in 2017 have shown that they would be the neighbor calling the SS on you because they thought they heard noises in your attic.

7
FLIBS 7 points ago +7 / -0

Bingo! I have watched many documentaries about the rise of dictators but never experienced a similar event. People turned on people so quick it was amazing, internet speeds even. If they could have had us detained and "re-educated" they would have in a second and slept well. And in some countries they did!

4
Cyer6 4 points ago +4 / -0

That's why the masks are so important to them. When most people were wearing them, it made it easy to identify their enemy and the non-believers of their cult. When the CDC dropped the mask requirement for the vax'd, many of these covidians were all over social media complaining about it and commented how they would no longer be able to identify their enemies or the "Trump Supporters." Now that the masks are on their way out, they have finally become the minority and easily identifiable (at least in my area).

6

5
MrTexan 5 points ago +5 / -0

My contention is that good men (not bad men) consistently acting upon that position [imposing “the good”] would act as cruelly and unjustly as the greatest tyrants. They might in some respects act even worse. Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under of robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber barons cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some points be satiated; but those who torment us for their own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to heaven yet at the same time likely to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be “cured” against one’s will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on the level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals. C. S. Lewis

Hitler: Created a new industrial revolution and uplifted his ethnic people out of mass poverty and despair.

Pol Pot: Wanted to end industrialization and force an agrarian communist society, killed upwards of a quarter of the population of his own ethnic people. Literal piles of bodies strewn in fields and in the streets.

Hmmm 🤔

Hitler: Within 10 years, got every major city in his country obliterated as most of the world working together to pound his ever-expanding ass into the dust. Country divided into two pieces. Lost 1/3 of Europe to Communism for half a century. Then, a few decades later after that, refugees from beyond Europe are being imported by the millions into Europe with the German Chancellor, the daughter of a Left Wing Pastor being a key player. Multiple European countries on life support and forced to support refugee plan or be cut off from the New Fugger/Hansa Banking League of Frankfurt and Brussels, the 4th Reich EU Total failure.
