no surprise as both lies are propagandized by the same group of lunatics

I said same shit. You just left billions there and its alot closer to ship there than back home. These types of things are happening because they control news sources. That is most important thing that needs fixing. If true news was reported, the World would change overnight.

4
rossiFan 4 points ago +4 / -0

I will repeat a point I made early on in the Russian campaign regarding the 40 mile Russian column that lurked for more than a week north of Kiev. U.S. analysts insisted this was evidence of Russian incompetence in keeping these tanks and trucks supplied with fuel. Yet, during the entire time this big fat Russia target sat exposed, the mighty Ukrainian military failed to launch any significant attack designed to destroy that column.

This is not a minor point. No Ukrainian air assets (fixed or rotary wing) attacked the column. No Ukrainian artillery units shelled the exposed Russian tanks and trucks. And no Ukrainian tank units attacked the supposedly stalled Russians. Why? Because Ukraine had no capability to carry out such strikes.

2

Did you even read the article, you worthless faggot?

Lets start:

Moscow has imposed capital controls to prop up its economy and currency

The capital controls are in addition to Russia demanding ruble-payments for natural gas supplies from European nations, as well as forcing exporters to sell foreign-exchange holdings

But currency traders are about to stop using the onshore exchange rate for some transactions

Starting on June 6

TLDR: Russia is artificially inflating its currency, a thing they could have done even if they didn't invade and get sanctioned, and its going to come crashing down on them very soon. Meanwhile, Russian inflation sits just under 20%.

But please, keep fagging for the trash empire of slavic reject/mongoloid hybrids.

37
thunderstorm 37 points ago +37 / -0

Except in Russia's case, their currency is an internal currency. What people call capital control is protectionist policies.

Russia is not experiencing inflation. The fuel and food prices have remained stable within the country, unaffected by the decline and rise of of the ruble because they produce the fuel and food. The entire economy is backed up by resources.

All of these foreign companies now have to buy rubles from a Russian bank to purchase oil, and Russia gets to charge anything they want for the ruble. This will soon be a requirement for natural gas, food, and fertilizer.

Russia's economy is booming as domestic resources are focused inward since they cannot invest internationally. The government is awash in cash right now, actively producing a massive amount of military equipment which is in turn fueling other segments of the economy.

19
rocket_nazi 19 points ago +19 / -0

yeah, not to mention it's fucking backed by gold now. fucking econ 101. that shit has a hard lower limit for value now.

and yeah, my friends in russia tell me that after an initial spike in prices, everything has pretty much gone back to normal except for imports, like jeans, etc.

russia has 2200 tonnes i believe. pegged at 5000 rubles per gram comes out to 11 trillion rubles. if my math is correct. seems reasonable to me. russia's gdp is somewhere around 1.5 to 2 trillion annually. i'm no economist, but these numbers don't seem crazy to me.

5
Moonshot2020 5 points ago +5 / -0

They are working on a gold & commodity backed Ruble from what I understand. Bank of Russia announced a fixed price for buying gold with rubles of 5,000 rubles for a gram of gold in April and have been public about a "two-circuit system".

It seems like they've at least taken the first step by setting a floor value.

Ah yes what Russia is doing is not something the U.S. has been doing with the dollar since the 70s. Those Russians are really in for it!

Meanwhile the dollar propping global economy is doing fine, don't look at our 8% a month inflation but do focus on the 20% inflation on Russia that has literally been sanctioned by the western hemisphere for intervening in their money laundering operations......

9
Billybobcuccio 9 points ago +10 / -1

I’d call the United States a trash empire before I’d call the Russian people rejects. Have you looked at our country. Our resident shits his pants while visiting the pope and our schools teach kids to hate themselves if they are white. Russia’s money is backed by gold and natural resources . I’d much rather have putin then any western world leader. They are all just as bad so I see no difference.

How to maintain control of their guards during a societal collapse. Shock collars and captive families were discussed.

Funny coincidence that they fixed the Ruble to gold, then all of a sudden it because the top performing currency… almost like those two may be connected somehow…

11
JohnDee 11 points ago +12 / -1

The Russian ruble has turned into the world's best-performing currency this year, as its onshore rate is up more than 11% against the US dollar so far in 2022.

6
Scuffers 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yup, anybody would think this is deliberate....

6
IWanttotalknow 6 points ago +7 / -1

Yes, that's what they wanted.

Every things that is bad for America, is good for them. Therefore, "We must sanction Russia more!" or "We must print more money!" or, or, or. Each will strengthen the ruble while weakening the dollar and Americans while enriching the elite and corrupt.

The trials are going to be awesome when we get to that point.

3
jimmityjimjimjim 3 points ago +3 / -0

No trials, just execute them all.

1
IWanttotalknow 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nope. I think the higher ups, maybe.

The more I've read from the Nuremberg trials, from deNazification attempts (success and failures) - I think they probably need to be kept alive and imprisoned and shown to successive generations of people. Not just video tape even.

This shit is hard to believe for the average person. I think it might be best to make living examples of them. Idk, I've just read too much about the history of Russia and Germany and I see how quickly people have forgotten what should be unforgettable. We need the actual people around so people can learn. Hundreds of hours of video.

I don't know how else we'll convince people in the future not to make the same fucking types of mistakes. History needs to stop rhyming in bad ways, and for all the Nazis that died, all the Communists that died... still, so many people don't know, don't remember. We need to cement it.

1
jimmityjimjimjim 1 point ago +1 / -0

Needs to be wide open and extremely public.

The only thing on TV, in the news.

Stop all tv shows, movies almost zero other reporting in the main section.

1
IWanttotalknow 1 point ago +1 / -0

Again, maybe for the top people.

The rest need to be alive, constantly interviewed, reported on, tons of video.

Let me put this in contrast: During the Nuremberg Trials, one Nazi, with seriously racist views, defended himself by stating he was not anti-Semitic like Streicher (rabid anti-Semite, editor of der Sturmer) - he just thought that that % of people in any given job field should be capped by the % their race makes up in the nation.

He did not believe he was racist. You couldn't convince him he was.

We need video of these people. We need interviews. We need them around for people to SEE. Their problem is less racist than it is a variety of other corruptions, but most of them don't think they're doing anything incorrect or wrong. They're just as clueless as the Nazi who didn't understand he was a racist.

People need to LEARN. Not just watch it on TV and go "Oh, they're bad people who did bad things." but WHY they did it, what they believe, etc.

The dollar will never stop falling as that's part of its design

It has huge growth potential.

The ruble cannot be freely traded due to the sanctions, so the exchange rate is whatever Russia says it is.

30 countries have sanctions.

165 do not.

1
keep_america_great 1 point ago +2 / -1

Except it’s the 30 countries that matter that have sanctions. It’s in those 30 countries that the main foreign exchange and banking institutions are. This isn’t pro-West, it’s reality.

4
Scuffers 4 points ago +4 / -0

1
keep_america_great 1 point ago +1 / -0

True

1
talltellmanson 1 point ago +1 / -0

India, China, Russia, Brazil?

Those 5 alone make up 5 of the worlds largest GDP-PPP countries and nearly half the population of humanity.

They've already moved away from swift. They don't need the shit fiat and their currency is reflecting that.

1
keep_america_great 1 point ago +1 / -0

India, China, Russia, Brazil?

It's ironic you mention those four. India, Russia (as of recently), and Brazil have very restrictive currency policy and DO NOT allow their currencies to trade freely in the global financial markets. So these are traded synthetically as something called a non-deliverable forward. This is symptomatic of a nation who's currency and their monetary policies cannot stand on their own legs so they have to severely restrict it in the global financial markets. Russia was an NDF several years ago, moved to being openly traded, and is now back to being an NDF due to the recent issues.

China used to also be a non-deliverable forward but within the past ten years "graduated" to being somewhat openly traded. The Bank of China places a daily band around how much the exchange rate is allowed to vary, and once that band is violated they will intervene.
