We need borders around our states so that people from CA and WA dont' come rushing in to our beautiful red states when their store shelves are empty.

FUCK COMMIES!!!! IMPALE THEM!!! STARVE THEM!!!!

Brings a tear to my eye thinking about them trying to simply navigate a wooded area.

You've seen pictures of the woods? I was BORN into it. I've been in the woods my ENTIRE LIFE.

Bring it on faggots.

7

Yeah that absolutely shocked me when I was with the Marines as a Corpsman, we did a very basic navigation exercise in training and most of the marines and other corpsman had zero clue what the hell a compass even was or how to properly use one. I was truly embarrassed for them. That was back in 2001-2002 or so.

Back when I was a retail RE broker, I was touring a house with a client and the seller's broker pointed out some picture windows and said "and you have a beautiful sunset view through these windows." I pointed out the windows were facing due east. "Oh, I don't keep up with all those changes." Fucking imbecile thought that sun did not always set in the west.

33
War_Hamster 33 points ago +33 / -0

Let's see....CA had more Trump voters than any other state, and y'all want to starve us out?

Oh, we also have the richest farmland in the country. The stuff that comes from other states is mostly processed, and I can live without that.

No worries, most of us are pretty well prepared.

26
CrispyQuesoSalami 26 points ago +26 / -0

An interesting realization I had a while back:

Wierd how CA had always been a solidly red state until the mass influx of other states' hippies, want to be stars, tech workers, sun chasers, college students etc etc from the 60s onward.

Once the political needle moved enough and they solidified one party rule with illegal voters and other shit policies they put in place.

CA had always been a net migration state, WAY more people move here and have for decades than leave. So strange how there's a direct correlation between the influx of migration and when politics changed in the state.

Yet, CA conservatives get lumped in with the rest of the state and should "be starved out" or "not move to other states".

I mean, if the other states want to take back their undesirables that moved started this mess in CA to begin with, I'd be happy to have my state back and just stay here. I'm sure most CA conservatives feel that way.

War_Hamster 10 points ago +10 / -0

This is a conversation we are having more and more often. The problem is, how do we deal with the unpayable legacy debt?

7
Thecryptoclub 7 points ago +7 / -0

War is simply the debtors quest to abolish the lender

6
War_Hamster 6 points ago +6 / -0

What happens when the banks lend money to both sides of the war? Because that's been the business model for a few centuries now.

4
PerchingEagle 4 points ago +4 / -0

Then the provocateur of the war would be wilfully evil, no?

The status quo is acceptable and consistently profitable debt servitude, with a locus of control among international bankers. To initiate war is to eliminate your pool of existing servants. Sounds evil.

7
War_Hamster 7 points ago +7 / -0

It's beyond evil.

The useless slaughter of WW1 can be explained in no other way.

22
War_Hamster 22 points ago +23 / -1

You may deal with them as you see fit.

What's funny is everyone seems to forget that CA used to be totally red, but a whole bunch of New Yorkers and other East Coast types moved out here and turned it into a sh*thole. They are like locusts.

The new Lady Hamster and I were talking about whether we will stay in CA. We'd make a good addition to any community, so don't paint us all with the same brush.

19
drsowells1fan 19 points ago +20 / -1

8
zooty 8 points ago +8 / -0

Once they get their hands on the voting mechanism in a large city, it's all over. Suspicions are that Ca is a lot less blue than it appears.

7
War_Hamster 7 points ago +7 / -0

I think you are understating "suspicions".

In CA, they took it statewide by installing DMV Motor Voter.

8
n4freedom 8 points ago +8 / -0

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump won Cali with legal votes only counted.

9
War_Hamster 9 points ago +9 / -0

I think he did. I was at the Trump rallies and miles long car and boat parades. We've never seen so much enthusiasm.

I think we won the recall vote as well.

4
stratocaster_patriot 4 points ago +4 / -0

Same in WA in mid 90's as CA was migrating north. Now we have no option and cannot vote in person at all. I've asked people how they know we've never had any single instance of voting fraud in 30 years and I get a blank look - good question - but move on because my guys are always in.

Every time a Republican wins a major seat like governor, there are multiple recounts until its reversed to Democrat.

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +4 / -0

I lived in Oregon when I first became politically aware as a teenager, and we had very similar thoughts.

3
zooty 3 points ago +3 / -0

Me too. The main question is to what degree.

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +4 / -0

That's exactly what I've been explaining to normies. There's always some election fraud, the question is whether it is enough to change results.

Then I ask them if they think it might be a good idea to take a look and find out?

I usually get silence.

6
Vlad_The_Impaler 6 points ago +7 / -1

I guess the whole country is getting invaded and CA was just one of the first states they targeted.

Like I said to the other guy. Perhaps we should forfeit that territory and you come help us fortify ranks in red states.

5
War_Hamster 5 points ago +5 / -0

Only problem with that is it'd be like having Ukraine on our border.

Who gets to keep the nukes?

1
stratocaster_patriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why didn't you just do that after 9/11 and let Muslims have NY? Probably because you said it was easier to fight them there than here. Now it's OK to let a 50% red state fall to Communism. My hero./s

5
huntingche 5 points ago +5 / -0

What's funny is everyone seems to forget that CA used to be totally red, but a whole bunch of New Yorkers and other East Coast types moved out here and turned it into a sh*thole. They are like locusts.

Those are exactly the type we are talking about. The rat fuckers fleeing from California and New York. The ones currently invading Florida and Texas and that have fucked up Oregon, Idaho and Washington.

I don't think anyone means you or pedes like you. CA people seem a bit overly touchy about that though. I mean I live in a state that gets shit on daily here and I don't take it personally.

3
War_Hamster 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's not personal at all, it's just that we don't consider the locusts to be Californians.

2
stratocaster_patriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

" don't think anyone means you or pedes like you."

Yes they do. Do you know how many times this month I've been called an idiot? Like it's my fault that I didn't flee my home long ago? Now top poster wants to build a fence so I can't flee like a coward. Hypocritical fuckers. Not fellow pedes. Not getting me a coat.

1

Well I don't care. Good. You hate on your fellow WA and CA pedes so fuck you. Enjoy the inevitable. It will never stop now (because WA and CA were once decent places too ya know) and you personally will do nothing to stop it. Then you'll how stupid it was to shit on guys like me for being born in WA or CA.

7
Pissed_American 7 points ago +7 / -0

There's also been a reason why California isn't seeing much food shortages at all compared to other places. I think it has to do with how much food is grown and slaughtered here. It doesn't even compare when it comes to agriculture. Those other areas in the country don't farm nearly as much food. (that's consumed by humans). Alot of the Midwest for example grows feed corn for cattle and soy beans. Who is gonna eat that shit?

But I think it's more nefarious and deliberate. They know the places the food shortages will hit the hardest are the extremely rural places that voted heavily for trump. They want to punish them the most. And they are the ones who are gonna feel it the most.

5
War_Hamster 5 points ago +5 / -0

I hadn't considered your second point. Why, exactly, will the food shortages hit rural areas first? Isn't that where the farms are? I'd think the cities are where the undeliverable processed foods are consumed most?

This is a subject I don't have much more than observational knowledge of. Might be an important topic really soon, too.

6
8thGenPatriot 6 points ago +6 / -0

He's right. Commercial agriculture has become increasingly specialized over the past few decades. A lot of livestock operations produce basically none of their own feed, so some farms have switched to solely growing livestock feed. Most crop operations just grow 2-3 crops rotationally. In this area, it used to be a corn-wheat-soybean rotation, but pretty much everyone has cut out wheat because there was no market for the straw anymore. They started chopping the straw, but the extra residue in the fields impacted the bean planting. Beans are more profitable to begin with, so wheat went out the window. If shipments dry up, I'd have plenty of local dairy, eggs, and apples, but that's about it.

5
Pissed_American 5 points ago +5 / -0

I think it's more complicated. Even though the rural places grow the food. Think about the processing, and packaging that most products just go through. Most farms and ranches specialize in one or just a few animals and crops. I mean if you live in Iowa and your county mostly grows soy beans what are you really gonna do about food?

I don't have much experience with agriculture other than I have worked on many farms doing surveys and stuff. It's just so difficult for the person who actually grows the food, to turn all the food into something they can eat and store. For example I did some work some years ago in a processing plant for salad type products (Ready-Pac). It takes a lot of workers so all that lettuce and stuff grown in the central valley or the imperial wherever it comes from. (Not Omaha or Minnesota). It's a delicate supply chain. I don't think anyone won't be affected. But you can bet it will be the further to reach places first.

5
stratocaster_patriot 5 points ago +5 / -0

Also a rural farmer does what Monsanto says or grows nothing in many cases.

4
Pissed_American 4 points ago +4 / -0

You probably know more about Monsanto than I do. But if the supply chain basically broke down and there was no crops being transported anymore. farmers could probably do what they felt like doing. Although it would be pretty difficult harvesting anything without fuel.

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +4 / -0

Good thing we can still hunt and fish. I can go out and spear my dinner in a matter of minutes.

Hmmmmm, I think I'll have lobster tonight.

5
Pissed_American 5 points ago +5 / -0

I used to go deep sea fishing with my dad all the time out of Long Beach barracudas seabass and halibut was in our freezer. Also I got a buddy who bought himself a boat and he drops lobster traps and everything. He's also really into hunting. He's like the guy that's hard to keep up with though. Like he'll hike a quartered elk carcass out of the mountains on his back.

1
stratocaster_patriot 1 point ago +4 / -3

Red staters have no concept of how reliant they are on the west coast. We have all their tech and all their data for one thing. CA is like the #5 economy in the world and they would just cut it loose as if that will fix Communism which has been invading from outside for decades. You can't put a wall on CA and stop Communism geniuses. Once the Napa valley stops exporting food then red states are screwed too. I don't eat corn and soy. Don't eat wheat but WA has plenty. Not to mention, more wealth over here meaning, if rich powerful people over here want all your red meat, they will have all your red meat. Your AR-15's aren't going to stop that. Think about it, are you the best guns money can buy?

Wish we lived in a country where this was a team and team effort.

3
Pissed_American 3 points ago +3 / -0

When SHTF because of them starving us out and breaking the supply chain. Americans will probably finally wake up and realize we are at war. That stupid stuff we bicker about here won't matter anymore. Civil war 2 will be different. You won't have the southern colonel type whos entire allegiance is to the state of Virginia or something. Or that Matthew Broderick character from Glory. It will be more like patriots vs pedophiles. good vs evil. we will be divided amongst those lines. The proverbial mason Dixon that runs through Nana's kitchen, like Bill Maher said.

4
stratocaster_patriot 4 points ago +4 / -0

Exactly brother. This is not team Trump around here anymore. You have allies on the ground on the inside over here (us) and they want us to die with commies or get smart and move to their state (translation: run like cowards and give all that precious land away) only they want us to stay out of their lands too. There is no team Trump. There are idiot Dems and idiot Republicans and those of us trapped in between that both sides want dead. And we are the based. I think those of us hostage over here on the west coast are the only real based in this country at this point. And we endure for our country. And the minute this coast is liberated, I say you red state people that I though were countrymen can stay out because you left it to rot and you will pay out the ass for all the essentials we ship to you. Or you can just stay on your prepper farms indefinitely like the Amish and the world will pass you by technologically until eventually you are taken over by someone, probably WA and CA pedes because we're tougher and smarter than the rest of you. But hey, I wasn't the one who turned my back on you. One year of Biden was all you needed to turn your back on me.

2
Tito810 2 points ago +2 / -0

2
Vlad_The_Impaler 2 points ago +5 / -3

We should fortify our ranks instead of leaving guys like this in what we should arguably just forfeit as territory.

A better concentration of MAGA in selected areas and shut out demoKKKrat Marxo-Fascist infiltration. Only allow our children to marry other MAGA pureblood. Pure breed pure bloods.

Sometimes I think Conservatives working in demoKKKrat controlled areas is you merely toiling for their tax revenue and their gain. You give up your work which has value to demoKKKrats in exchange for their benefit and all you get is a fiat currency but you could live a better quality life living among people who culturally believe in what you believe so that there is a great value to everyone's exchange in the community instead of the parasitic nature of the demoKKKrat corrupt city or state.

Imagine everyone you do business with in the course of the day is a Christian God fearing man or woman who own a small business and have a few kids around the way who are friends with your kids and they have good manners and you know that the man who benefits from your business uses his profit or gain to do further good in your community.

Instead you give your money to evil corporations for a corn syrup soda pop and a processed injected with vaccines and preservatives genetically modified lab grown patty burger with the consistency of a yoga mat and the corporation then uses profit from that sale to promote transsexualism and BLM.

5
n4freedom 5 points ago +5 / -0

I would argue that if conservatives bail out of states like Cali the state would collapse which would be the most effective mass red pilling possible. Victims of communism are always the most staunchly anti-communist.

These states function by milking conservatives of their productivity and handing it to moochers and illegals. This would also have a positive effect on that national electoral college and help protect states like Texas that are currently being invaded with the express purpose of turning it blue and electorally conquering the nation for at least a generation.

1
stratocaster_patriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

"Cali the state would collapse"

And then what? 3rd world hellhole on our entire western border with all our data centers and high tech. You don't save your country by letting half of it just collapse. And how do you know it will collapse. I may not like lefties but it's not like they don't create and produce all out tech. They will just have free for all and you will have conceded some of the best land on the planet without a fight and left half of us fellow pedes prison. Great plan./s

0

Cali the state would collapse which would be the most effective mass red pilling possible. Victims of communism are always the most staunchly anti-communist.

1
stratocaster_patriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

OK so they are all anti-communists in imaginary land now. Now what? It's a failed state in chaos now. And just because you make the claim doesn't mean it's true, or will happen. You have no idea that this "the most effective red pill" as the damned word hasn't even existed that long so you have no historical data to compare it to. Nobody needs to get launched into the sun to figure out it burns. How about you support the 50% in CA that are already anti-commie and are already on your own fucking team. I wonder if they all know they only think they are on your team and you have other idea for them.

1
stratocaster_patriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Have you ever seen the territory in CA. Anybody who gives that up thinking it prevents the spread of communism, should not be making the plans. It's my country and I say we are keeping every damned inch. You aren't going to do shit concentrating in the center, just watch.

1
Pissed_American 1 point ago +1 / -0

There's also plenty of food. Idk what California depends on from Nebraska and Minnesota that we don't make here. If anything California sends alot more food to those places. But hey John has his class A. And drives a truck so I'm sure he has a firm understanding..

Tune-A-Fish 33 points ago +34 / -1

All by design, create the crisis (food) and provide the solution. The Democrats want to control the basic necessities of life - food, energy, housing, water) and the Republicans are in on it. Build back broke is upon us and nothing can stop it.

10
x79q3pb 10 points ago +10 / -0

Following this model, it makes you wonder what schemes they've already devised to replace the current system with. Some kind of firearms deregistration/buy-back scheme in order to obtain food? Vax tracker/pass?

12
Tune-A-Fish 12 points ago +12 / -0

Good point and somehow it will aid in their ultimate goal of seizing weapons and erasing our 2nd amendment rights. If people begin to starve (which they want) people will become desperate, crime and looting will expand beyond the urban Democrat cities and the criminals in the cities will turn to the suburbs and farms and begin looting for food and necessities like South Africa. Once the Democrats have the survival crisis in full swing and blood begins to flow, they step in with the solution, take away those pesky guns from those barbarians so they don't hurt one another. The elites know better and they are more "sophisticated" than the peasant class.

FitOfficial 16 points ago +17 / -1

Good. Should've stopped shipping to blue state shitholes long ago.

7
Pissed_American 7 points ago +9 / -2

I bet anything California shops more food to Nebraska and Minnesota than other way around. The west coast will be fine they don't need midwest corn and soy.

6
FitOfficial 6 points ago +6 / -0

More food out, maybe. They have a large population to feed themselves.

More supplies have to be shipped in to grow the food, however. Everything doesn't just originate in CA.

2
Pissed_American 2 points ago +4 / -2

Agricultural powerhouse. I bet you anything you have more food in your pantry grown here. Than I do in mine from where you live

6
FitOfficial 6 points ago +6 / -0

Why does your understanding of the supply chain start at where the food is grown? Are seeds, fertilizer, plastics, equipment, etc., very few of which start in CA, not part of the process? The dirt where it's grown is all that matters?

And that's a genuine question. I've talked to several people from California and they all have that same pretentious outlook on things. Is it taught locally or something?

4
Pissed_American 4 points ago +4 / -0

No you're right. But don't you understand that every place will be screwed if our supply chain becomes that disfunctional? Like some of the top comments in here are about a fantasy of the entire west coasts shelves becoming bare while the rest of the country is still stocked up as normal? I don't think California will be fine from all this. I just don't think it's gonna happen that way like people think. When it comes to food shortages I haven't seen it here near LA. There is also baby formulas stocked in most of the stores.

I'm not trying to be pretentious. But if you live in Utah or Texas. I promise you I won't be coming to your state to raid myself some food. I'll be going to the central valley. It's only 30 mins away up the 5.

4
FitOfficial 4 points ago +4 / -0

If you're trying to raid food driving for two days to end up at my state that's full of gun owners would be a terrible idea.

Seriously though, if the initial shipments stop hitting CA then something will have to be done to restart them or the entire system would collapse. The taxes on and price manipulation of fuel would have to be relaxed or the whole system would eventually crumble. Gas hit 4.25 here yesterday, so I can't imagine what it is out there.

Something's gotta give eventually. In the meantime, get some of your friends and start sawing the West Coast cities Bugs Bunny style off into the ocean for the rest of our sake.

4
Pissed_American 4 points ago +4 / -0

I just think some of this stuff gets sensational. Especially when it comes to supply chain breakdown, food insecurity and civil war. I'm not saying none of them are happening I think they all are. But not at the rate people think. Ain't nobody leaving here looking for food to steal trust me. There's still plenty of it and on top of that they give everyone a few hundred bucks a month if they're poor for EBT.

"Wound My Heart With Monotonous Languor"

I remember 1962, as if it were yesterday, going to the theater in Rochester, New York to see "The Longest Day" with my mother. I was 15 at the time. In 1962, I had no in-depth knowledge of what took place that day, or the history behind those radio messages. I've independently studied history for many years now. When I traveled to Paris in 2006, the only reason I went there was to take a day tour of the D-Day landing beaches, and visit the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer that overlooks Omaha Beach. I get teary-eyed just thinking about it.

There are a lot of good people in CA and WA. There are also a lot of woke and fruity SJWs. Don’t know if this stoppage in groceries will redpill the latter. Feel bad for the hungry and starving pedes out west! Reminds me of Venezuela… https://imageproxy.ifunny.co/crop:x-20,resize:640x,quality:90x75/images/4b5333a4ec3f45906d51540dfd4976e17e2eb3ff09ebd76b6edd5db2fad5c764_1.jpg

It won't.

Good time to be in the Midwest where most of the food comes from.

5
yurimodin 5 points ago +5 / -0

But I thought it all came from Ukraine

2
Anti-Uniparty 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thank you. Suddenly all if our grain came from Ukraine? 😑

5
raptormissle 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'm all for cutting off the food supply to democrat shit holes.

SonofAnu 5 points ago +5 / -0

I grow food and have chickens for meat and eggs, ducks and lambs. Plenty of deer and boar to hunt for more protein. Fishing too, not to worried about food. I live in the woods near the beach in the Free Republic of Florida surrounded by based individuals and Families. I dare a jogger with their jogging hammer to show up in my area starting trouble.

Awww CA and WA couldn’t have happened to a nicer two Utopias

3
Junkevil 3 points ago +3 / -0

At least WA has that Chaz/Chop garden. I bet that baby is going good now!

2
SonofAnu 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm sure their meth/crack garden grew in abundance.

Now do DC and Chicago!

4
americandrunk 4 points ago +4 / -0

I don't understand what is "unfeasable" about any of this. Increase your price, people will pay because they have to eat.

Are all trucking firms under some sort of impression that people want to die instead of pay what it takes to get food shipped?

Something else is going on here.

3
KAGcrew 3 points ago +3 / -0

You're correct. This random post is such boomer bait. CA produces like 10% of USA's agri product not like it's some barren place.

The companies would raise prices and the market would pay those prices if the product is needed. Just like anything else with raised energy costs.

John would be unemployed based on his statements.

1
HeavyVetting 1 point ago +1 / -0

Increase your price too much and Democrats start complaining about "greedy price gouging" and you have Biden threatening to start fixing prices.

3
shaven_llama 3 points ago +3 / -0

A lot of our food in Alaska is shipped in via truck. Yes some comes in by ship (mostly via Seattle), but a lot of it is trucked in through Canuckistan.

Liberal bastions are about to run out of food and the will somehow blame Republicans

5
Vlad_The_Impaler 5 points ago +5 / -0

there's nothing liberal about those people or where they live.

They are probably the biggest authoritarian government lovers in the country, making them the very antithesis of liberalism. DemoKKKrats love more and more laws and policies and regulations and a majority of them in any committee, council, legislation are going to ram through restrictions against your freedom in high volume and frequency. Even Muslims are probably more liberal than DemoKKKrats, and quick to form mobs or perform riots when police try to swarm their homogeneous communities. DemoKKKrats usually always take the side of the government unless they are not in power in which suddenly government led by another party are Racist persecutors against minorities. Even then they are not liberal, they never suggest government power be relinquished, they merely go to extraordinary ends to get power back even if it means stealing elections or mass scale censorship.

The only things demoKKKrats are liberal with are drugs and their chastity. They are by no means believers of individual free choice or freedom from government coercion. They only want freedom of choice to do harm to themselves and to others. Like killing an innocent baby or confiscating a portion of your income.

Globalism only works when it’s cheap to ship goods from places where they are made by dirt poor slave labor who get paid pennies a day. When fuel is expensive it all collapses.

2
WhiskeyGolf73 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not all of us in CA are fucking leftards, I see the empty shelves daily at work as I work the graveyard shift stocking shelves. So many products are not coming in and every week that number of items gets bigger and bigger. Everyone keep stocking up no matter what, things are really shitty and getting worse.

2
Retardloserimsogay 2 points ago +2 / -0

Great, been nice knowing you pedes, looks like I drew starve to death card here in Wa.

2
rossiFan 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's still feasible, but it's just not profitable.

2
skuts 2 points ago +2 / -0

The PTB are doing everything they can to foment an open revolution with which they think they will lock down the nation once and for all. That's a bad plan, esse. They've emptied the treasury and killed a quarter of the world's population and they're still worried about becoming lamppost decorations.

Glad the western blue states are first

2
MohaveSkipper 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't know where in the US you live, but I would never be "glad" for any type of negative impact on you or your loved ones. How very small minded of you, 'patriot'.

1
Mothertrumprr 1 point ago +4 / -3

I don't give a fuck. They voted to tax diesel, freight and consumer goods to a extremely high rate. They created their own situation. Instead of thinking with your fefes, maybe consider this is what is going to take to wake these fuckers up.

1
MohaveSkipper 1 point ago +1 / -0

I live on the west coast and voted for none of it. It's almost as if people like you refuse to believe that we've been defrauded for decades. You'll believe a presidential election was outright stolen, but you think we here out west asked for what's been happening.

Leave

2
Pissed_American 2 points ago +2 / -0

First to what ?

1
Mothertrumprr 1 point ago +1 / -0

To get denied deliveries. Did you read the tweet?

1
Pissed_American 1 point ago +2 / -1

From one trucking company in the Midwest? What does that even mean. How much of what will not be shipped ? This tells us nothing

0
Mothertrumprr 0 points ago +1 / -1

Lol how many years of trucking experience do you have?

2
Pissed_American 2 points ago +2 / -0

What does that matter. I'm not a biologist either. My dad used to be a manager at Consolidated Freight back in the day. He doesn't know shit about any of this either. His job didn't encompass everything in the freight industry and I doubt John the trucker does either. reminds me of Joe the Plummer.

2
Mothertrumprr 2 points ago +2 / -0

For every one small trucking company doing this, you have thousands of owner operators that are doing the same thing. They just ain't tweeting about it. As fuel costs go up further and fuel surcharges stagnate, you'll see more of this.

2
Pissed_American 2 points ago +2 / -0

Theres plenty of pedes from California and Washington in here. They'd be reporting if there was no more whatever here. I honestly don't have trouble finding anything I need right now. Sure things are more expensive. Idk anywhere that's not the case.

2
JoeBidensDementia1 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good. Fuck them. Let them starve first.

It's a fairly simple economic problem. Somebody along the supply line is going to have to pay more or take less of a profit in the short term. The price you're willing to pay for the finished product will ultimately determine the profitability of the enterprise. The only thing etched in stone here is, the consumer will be the only one who's paying more out of pocket. Not surprisingly, you paying more is not the actual problem, it's only the symptom you notice.

Food inflation sucks but take an honest look around the grocery store. How many choices do we have as a result of taste preference? Demand for frivolous and convenience food with excess packaging will go down. Bulk foods will increase in popularity.

So stores are electing to have empty shelves instead of charging more for goods (as a result of increased shipping costs)?

That doesn't make sense unless of course starvation is the plan.

1

Good thing we have hordes of migrants coming in to work as truckers. /s

1
Wew_Lads_Faggot_Ex 1 point ago +1 / -0

I can only chuckle as I read the self-satisfied confident bullshit posted by the rural prepper pedes. Guess you haven't seen the videos out of Ukraine of cheap autonomous self-guiding drones dropping bombs on people from 4000 feet. They don't need to leave their comfy chairs to wipe you out. I want a place in the country for a number of reasons but I'm not childish enough to think it's going to keep me safe from the hordes.
