Hey, look over here. Gay people. Hey. Hey, you. Look at it. Gay people. Are you looking? Check it out. Gay. See it? HEY! LOOK! LOOK OVER HERE! GAY PEOPLE. ARE YOU LOOKING? LOOK! COME ON, LOOK! GAY PEOPLE!
He is a B-rate actor now... name one "RECENT" movie or tv show he starred in without looking it up... i did just to see when he last stopped working... he didnt. Its all just B-rate BS.
They/Them sounds like a sequel to Stephen King's It.
Pedophile clowns going after children sounds pretty much like the trans community, so it all fits.
I just wish I had more art skills to meme that into a They/Them movie poster in the style of It. There are plenty of clown monsters to be found on reddit's witchesvspatriarchy so...
I’m a horror aficionado. I watch just about any horror movies I come across. Woke horror movies are terrible. Fucking terrible.
They all have the same story. White and or men and or Christian = bad and scary. Scares take a back seat in woke horrors. Way back. The main priority is beating the audience over the head with wokeness.
I have never seen a woke horror movie be successful. They almost universally get roasted by the audience. Horror fans, more so than any other movie genre fans, have a easy way to gauge if the movie was good or not. Was it scary? Woke horror never ever is.
Agreed. BT is def. not a pure horror, but I think it's just a cracking great genre film in every aspect (especially the four leads and their dialogue), with gnarly horror elements, and yet it was a first feature from Zahler and indie low budget. Full disclosure, the last two on my list aren't "pure" either, but they're quality horror/comedies that don't get enough exposure imo.
RE: HotD, I'm about 50/50 with Ti West, but saw that in theater and still my favorite of his. Have not even heard of your other two, but found footage can be very effective and the descriptions sound great, esp. the last, thanks! Speaking of FF (and Ti West), his The Sacrament is quite good. Couple other FF goodies, since it seems to be your jam (guaranteed pure):
Noroi (2005) - Truly scary; not a casual watch.
Home Movie (2008) - Unsettled tf out of me.
Ghostwatch (1992) - This was aired on TV in England for Halloween and reportedly had a similar public reaction to Welles's War of the Worlds radio play as people thought it was real. Chilling.
I thought The Sacrament was good. I also really liked The Innkeepers, another Ti West slow burn horror. I always recommend House of the Devil because i think it’s one of the best horror movies nobody’s heard of. You’re the first person I’ve recommended it to that’s already seen it so that tells me you’re a true horror buff.
I’m definitely going to check out Noroi and Home Movie if I can find them streaming somewhere. I am a big fan of FF, only problem is with it being so easy to make you have to wade through a lot of shit to find the gems.
I watched Ghostwatch a few years ago, I think it was on YouTube at one point. While it is dated I appreciate how ahead of it’s time it was.
Being a genre fan, once you've covered the greats, is all about being willing to sift a lot of chaff to find occasional quality wheat.
Now that we're super cereal, I'll expound on Noroi a little: part of its effectiveness involves putting together clues dropped throughout, so while it was good and scary the first time, the second viewing all the pieces fit together and it really got the adrenaline flowing.
My favorite five will offer no surprises. These are the ones I reference/quote regularly and have seen over and over. I'd be happy to slice this pie any way you like. Scariest 80s Euro horror? Kaiju? Cosmic horror? Could do this all week. What about yourself?
I’m a big fan of The Thing and AWWIL. American Psycho I was meh on.
It’s really hard to narrow down a top 5. I’d probably go with:
Halloween 1978. Just classic horror. Love it. Puts me in the Halloween spirit anytime I watch it.
Nightmare on Elm Street 1984. First adult horror movie I ever saw and it scared the shit out of me.
Rosemary’s Baby 1968. Great movie. Tension. Uneasy. Slow burn.
The Blair Witch Project 1999. Greatest found footage horror movie ever.
Hereditary 2018. I consider this the best modern horror movie.
I kept that list to my favorite pure horrors. There’s a couple of thrillers with horror elements that I would normally include in my favorites list, namely Jacob’s Ladder and Silence of the Lambs.
Solid! Love all those. RB and Polanski in general really nail the paranoia vibe.
BWP: First saw on an unlabeled VHS tape given by someone who had gotten it at a film festival before I had seen any hype. The exchange went "Check this out. They found this footage in the woods." Watched it at work during the day with some workmates during a lull. Scared the shit out of me and still does. GoAT FF no question.
Hereditary blew me away, but It Follows had me literally looking over my shoulder in my own damn house. So bummed Mitchell didn't stay with the genre.
SotL is one of those films I can't not watch. Weird how it can still disturb me yet is super comfy.
Can't speak for BAC, but for me they serve the same purpose as a roller coaster. Gets the heart rate up a bit. Remember last time I was at an amusement park, the first ride we went on I was so scared I had my eyes closed the whole time (thanks, sunglasses), but after a few I was leaning in to the "danger" eyes wide open and first to jump back in line for another go. Why, yes, I was a grown man at the time.
I'm betting it'll tank. Get a big weekend opening bump by the left then straight down the tubes. All of the Rotten Tomato paid propagandist reviewers will give it a 100% and audience reviews will be blocked.
Well, no, but it was a cool cheeky horror movie with some comical acting from back in the good old days. It was one of those movies out in left field that you took a chance watching and was pleasantly surprised at the end of it.
Hey, look over here. Gay people. Hey. Hey, you. Look at it. Gay people. Are you looking? Check it out. Gay. See it? HEY! LOOK! LOOK OVER HERE! GAY PEOPLE. ARE YOU LOOKING? LOOK! COME ON, LOOK! GAY PEOPLE!
Yup

He went full ass blasters
I imagine his music his just as gay
I don't even understand half the words in this headline, but I'm imagining They/Them as the Netflix sequel to It right now.
More like Were/Was after the suicides.
That gave me...Tremors
Ass tremors?
well call them fagoids , dirt dragons
Sodomites!!!
Sounds like a porno film.
Ha! Fantastic reference
In the now revised game six degrees of Kevin bacon can you connect gay or lezbos to Kevin thru six other Hollywood fags
I came here to say that.👍
Tracking your AIDS strain through 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon
There are more conversion therapy camps in movies than in real life.
When you can't be a real victim you have to fantasize about being one
That’s false. Every government school is a conversion camp towards faggotry.
And it will be called "Dick Loose".
Ass Loose. Followed by Ass Loose 2: The Monkey Pox.
Or when a female to male gets that surgery called “addadicktome” (stole this from a guy on the Tracy Beanz podcast)
Bruh, that’s at least 35 years old
Tremors, in my front hole
Bacon bent the knee to the globalists.
He bent over backwards. :)
Uh, forwards?
No, he got on his knees to swallow the gravy.
Pass me another degree of separation, please.
Very sad. They make movies to satiate their perversions.
It's not sad, it's grotesque.
It's not fear - it's disgust.
Take it he never recovered from that ponzi scheme
The premise is half there - I can't think of anything more horrific than a trans lunatic.
They/Them sounds like a sequel to Stephen King's It.
Pedophile clowns going after children sounds pretty much like the trans community, so it all fits.

That is what @Libsoftiktok used to post

EWTtS
Some semi-recent plugs that a genre fan might enjoy:
Bone Tomahawk (2015) - You prob saw, but just in case, it's a must-see. Zahler is a writer/director to watch.
Saint Maud (2019)
Anything for Jackson (2020)
Benny Loves You (2019)
The Wolf of Snow Hollow (2020)
I thought Bone Tomahawk was alright, I personally didn’t see it as a horror, but it was a fine movie. Gruesome western.
I enjoyed Saint Maud. Good story.
Haven’t seen the other 3. I’ll have to check them out.
Some lesser known/indie horror I always recommend:
The House Of The Devil - Slow burn horror at its finest. Really enjoyed it.
Butterfly Kisses - Not especially scary, but great for a super low budget indie found footage.
Leaving DC- Another low budget found footage. Slow burn. Does a good job of feeling authentic.

Top 5 favorite horror movies of all time?
Being a genre fan, once you've covered the greats, is all about being willing to sift a lot of chaff to find occasional quality wheat.

The Thing (1982)
Shaun of the Dead (2004)
American Psycho (2000)
The Wicker Man (1973)
An American Werewolf in London (1981)
I’m a big fan of The Thing and AWWIL. American Psycho I was meh on.

How do you subject yourself to all that horror? I can’t watch any of them or I’ll never be able to sleep again!
There's no gay agenda.
Only every movie has a gay theme.
Don't believe the reality you perceive! Listen to our fake fact checkers and propaganda narration!
I have to hand it to whoever came up with the name "They Slash Them".
So much for the "everything is better with bacon" theory.
6 degrees of shit
I'm sure it will bring in the billions
I'm betting it'll tank. Get a big weekend opening bump by the left then straight down the tubes. All of the Rotten Tomato paid propagandist reviewers will give it a 100% and audience reviews will be blocked.
Haha, this pede knows.
He had a career still?
He does now… for a price
The pronoun for his career is was/were
Woodchippers. Only way to be sure.
Woodchipping from orbit. Only way to be sure.
Taking Chance (2009)
Great book and movie. Sad to see him involved in this woke garbage
I thought his career ended after hollow man
Eww
He fucked kids so he has to make whatever humiliating garbage they force him to.
His big break was dancing in a barn. Shocker.
Horror films have always been about subverting cultural norms.
However, if you have to spell it out this overtly, it's going to be a bad film.
Nicole Kidman was in a movie "Boy, Erased," about conversion therapy. I don't think it harmed her career.
He finally found a way to kill his "never-ending" career.
damn I liked Kevin bacon.
Aaaaaand nobody will watch it.
Nobody's gonna watch it. What a world.
When I said make Kevin Bacon chase the giant worm, this is not what I meant.
Faggot.
Oh, Foot Loose II. I was wondering when this would be rebooted.
Wasn't there a reboot like 10 years ago?
Yes and I knew there was going to be someone who called me on that, but Foot Loose III would have confused people.
Ugh
I weep.
I thought he died, and no I'm not talking about that one Jason movie he got killed in.
You can now refer to his career as "were/was"
II thought this was a joke. This is a joke, right? He's come a long way since Tremors, and all of it has been downhill.
I don't follow movies at all. Was "Tremors" really his pinnacle of success?
Well, no, but it was a cool cheeky horror movie with some comical acting from back in the good old days. It was one of those movies out in left field that you took a chance watching and was pleasantly surprised at the end of it.
An odd way for Kevin to tell everyone he is a kid toucher.
Kevin Bacon has been a faggot for quite some time.
Footloose has Fallen!
So, Sleepers 2?
I can only hope that this "Gay Conversion Camp" has a Crystal Lake nearby.
What happens when the gay characters in this movie are more attracted to the camp conversion counselors than the fellow campers? hahahahahaha.
New Hit Song for the movie:
loose, butthole's loose
kick off those sunday shoes
please, trannies
make me get on my knees
jack, get back
Hunter's carpet surfing for crack
everybody jab everybody jab
Everybody jab everybody jab
take it up the caboose! butt's loose
Kevin Bacon shuffles across the hallway
From footlose to...
Well, you fill in the blank.
I'm not sure anyone will notice he's gone.
Old rich narcissistic celeb attention whore going all-out in begging for relevancy again and getting paid gobs of cash to push an (((agenda))).
No thanks
