There is not a single department of the federal government I’d oppose defunding.

Start with the IRS, it’s the drain plug of the swamp.

Remember that government shutdown a few years back? I was rooting for it to just, you know, not start back up again.

9
NullifyAndSecede 9 points ago +9 / -0

Same.

It should be the explicit policy goal of any honest small government republican.

4
BurtMcGirt 4 points ago +4 / -0

Remember how the shutdown wasn't affecting anyone negatively, so the Obama Regime had to intentionally spend more money trying to make it more painful, such as shutting down outdoor parks and monuments?

3
K-Harbour 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thanks to Paul Ryan, that was our last real chance to rightsize our government agencies.

1
dizzle_izzle 1 point ago +1 / -0

He is such a faggot. Screwed us so bad.

3
DaayTerkErJerbs 3 points ago +3 / -0

IRS is the only one I'd keep. The Federal Reserve should go, but tax collection is a legitimate role of the government.

3
adm0079 3 points ago +3 / -0

They have enough of our money. Fuck them. Besides, they just print the shit whenever they need it.

4
HerrnMalor 4 points ago +4 / -0

I would argue that the federal government should only be allowed to collect taxes from the State or other foreign governments.

1
cciv 1 point ago +1 / -0

The IRS doesn't print money.

1
adm0079 1 point ago +1 / -0

The Federal Government does print it. What is the IRS a part of? Or do you think I was implying that the presses are all in the IRS building?

1
cciv 1 point ago +1 / -0

So let's eliminate the VA because the Federal Reserve prints money? That's your logic?

1
adm0079 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fuck yes. The vets got better care in the private sector under Trump. There isn't one thing that improves by being run by the government. In fact most of it turns to shit.

1
cciv 1 point ago +1 / -0

Who do you think paid for that?

2
K-Harbour 2 points ago +2 / -0

Actually, with all the printing that they do, it is actually more efficient to get rid of the income tax.

1
cciv 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm fine with a paperless IRS.

42
wantstogomoon 42 points ago +42 / -0

4
ForsakenForeskin 4 points ago +4 / -0

Maybe if we wait long enough they’ll vote to defund themselves

1
Destineed369 1 point ago +1 / -0

That would be the point of infinity on the central honking curve.

1
AndrewLB 1 point ago +1 / -0

It makes me wonder about the decision to initially plant just enough cherry trees in DC so there is one for every elected official in our government. Of course, there are now 3800 trees which is still perfect since government has expanded in size so much that they'll all be needed if the time comes.

22
SaveUsSCOTUS 22 points ago +22 / -0

So less than half? We are fucked

7
DaayTerkErJerbs 7 points ago +7 / -0

75% of Rs are rinos actively helping Democrats

19
lazercrazy3 19 points ago +19 / -0

Only 18?

18
p1smo 18 points ago +18 / -0

It shouldn't even be legal to exist, let alone receive funding.

6
HurdyGurdyHer 6 points ago +6 / -0

It's unlawful as all get-out. Not that that's ever gotten in the way.

16
BabbleRabble 16 points ago +16 / -0

Better title: "Majority of senators want to shut you up using your money".

10
iIndianaJones 10 points ago +10 / -0

The problem is the number is only 18.

8
maga_mama_757 8 points ago +8 / -0

Romney? Hm.

4
bowill01 4 points ago +4 / -0

He always supports lost causes that have no hope of passing. Lets him continue playing Republican.

7
Magarmy 7 points ago +7 / -0

Should defund all the senate for voting for 40 billion to fake Ukraine war.

7
spezholio 7 points ago +7 / -0

That’s all?!

7
RealRightSideOfHist 7 points ago +7 / -0

Huh? I thought they shut that down just days ago?

5
Krat 5 points ago +5 / -0

7
FlgPole 7 points ago +7 / -0

DEFUND BIDEN ADMINISTRATION

Fixed it

5
Totalitarian 5 points ago +5 / -0

The fact that it isn't the entire congress is a problem. A pretty big fucking problem.

Cui bono?

5
LordScatmanJohn 5 points ago +5 / -0

Only 18, and not a single dem of course.

Wonder what tune they'd be singing if it was a disinformation board run by the Trump admin?

4
Gluteusmax 4 points ago +4 / -0

Spending is controlled by the house anyway. 18 senators complaining is a good thing, but where are the 'conservative' voices from the house?

4
NancyPelosisBoozeBin 4 points ago +4 / -0

A department created by an illegitimate presidency... Out of thin air...

4
TAIWANNUMBERONE 4 points ago +4 / -0

But only 11 disapproved of his money laundering package. We've got at least 7 phonies here.

3
ThatAnonGuyAgain 3 points ago +3 / -0

How about defund dc?

3
wookiebush 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is all Kabuki theater. Really? Only 18? Not enough to do anything but get sound bites.

Fucking useless.

W.

3
GrayManNumber333 3 points ago +3 / -0

How the fuck does it get formed and funded first where senators have to call for it to be DEFUNDED, yet it took huge fights to get any funding for the wall first?

3
QuickMaths 3 points ago +3 / -0

Shocked to see Romney’s name on that list. Disgusted to see so few names though. Bunch of traitorous cowards.

3
SegAtari 3 points ago +3 / -0

RINO Tactics 101;

  1. Vote “Yes” on some conservative agenda item that you know has absolutely zero chance of passing into law/actually affecting anything.

  2. Proceed to then use said vote as “proof” of your conservative credentials and tell your constituents that you’re “fighting for them”.

  3. Receive votes and (more importantly) campaign donations from people foolish enough to believe Step 2.

  4. Rinse and repeat.

3
Proto-Sigma 3 points ago +3 / -0

82 Senators are traitors or cowards.

2
Yignuced 2 points ago +2 / -0

So we have 82 criminal Senators.

2
WeinerLapTop 2 points ago +2 / -0

Love that it was already funded...

2
Araket 2 points ago +2 / -0
  1. Lol. That's all we can get to stand for the Constitution of the US. 18 fucking "elected" officials. Wow.
2
MythArcana 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's it?

2
454evr 2 points ago +2 / -0

18 Senators. Only 11 Senators voted against dumping billions into the State Department and its countless slush funds, a massive disinformation source.

Something doesn't add up. I smell RINOs picking low-hanging fruits in time for the election season.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
2
Shigaru 2 points ago +2 / -0

Why was it funded in the first place?

2
cciv 2 points ago +2 / -0

And the other 82?

2
ChopperRides 2 points ago +2 / -0

Aren’t there nearly 50:Rethugs in the Senate ?

2
Yuri_Nator 2 points ago +2 / -0

1
chickeninoven 1 point ago +1 / -0

Did they even vote to fund it in the first place?

1
BlueKentuckyGirl 1 point ago +1 / -0

There should be 100

1
foreach 1 point ago +1 / -0

Only 18?

Wow

We need to primary every one that didn't, but also primary every one that voted to send 40B to Ukraine.

1

Don't forget defunding the fbi

1
EvanGRogers 1 point ago +1 / -0

Only?

1
MrM1A2 1 point ago +2 / -1

Senate: Okay guys, we've done this a Million Times. As long as we won't have a majority on this topic to actually do anything about it, who needs to "appear" like they represent the People to keep their seats?

18 senators raise their hands.

1
Harper42190 1 point ago +1 / -0

Only 18 lol
