ActivityPub federated microblogging
is the Twitter alternative which is most free by design.

We still don't have a level playing field on Twitter.

Tweets of Trump and other anti-establishment people are hidden in search.
Elon wrote that Twitter would manipulate "reach" -- which is still insidious censorship and thought control.

At Twitter, you can now report messages for
"Denying a violent event, such as Sandy Hook, the Holocaust, and the September 11th attacks"

Twitter is likely to be attacked and certain to continue to be threatened. Despite my hope for a moderate improvement of the situation on Twitter, I think it is best to not rely on it and to do now what we should have done years ago:

  1. Build up alternative communications platforms
  2. Bring others away from main-stream social media (MSSM) to there

Twitter should be used primarily to get people off of Twitter and onto more free platforms.

Truth Social (available only in USA) and Gab (blocked some nations) copied software for ActivityPub microblogging and crippled it by removing the federation (networking between servers) feature. The goal of that is to create a more captive user base. Don't let yourself be treated like livestock. Pick from hundreds of free, networked, ActivityPub microblogging servers to join.

Q: What is federation?
A: It lets users subscribe and message people who have accounts on different servers, and search across servers.
[email protected] and [email protected] can subscribe to and message each other. They also find each other's messages in search.

Oh, you want salt do you?
Join ActivityPub microblogging now and, as a time limited offer, you can troll new Twitter snowflakes who migrated there! Search for tags #TwitterRefugee #TwitterMigration
Offer lasts until former Twitter users have ragequit or have fled from being triggered.
