It's amazing that people can stay in government so long when they would be kicked out on their ass anywhere in the private sector for being that stupid.

19

No she would just work in HR.

10
drsowells1fan 10 points ago +10 / -0

Sorry, that job is exclusively reserved for an angry, heavy set black woman. I believe it's mandated in recent EEOC rules.

believe it or not.... we kinda have a hot indian lady running ours. She wears low cut blouses... and at times I find myself wandering... in meetings... thankfully I wear sunglasses all day because I told them it was how I protect my eyes from covid.... they bought it... I sleep 1/4 of the day.

You reminded me of a joke. So, here have joke and an updoot, Fren: What do ya tell a woman with two black eyes?

Nothing, ya done told the bitch twice!! ;-) My husband told me that on our first date, and it truly helped me to fall in love with him. Showed me that he's very un-PC,and very confident, he doesn't GAF what others think.

I have to laugh at politicians....WHO LIE ALL THE TIME AND MISLEAD THE VOTING PUBLIC...crying that justices lied at their confirmation hearing.

2
thegyropath 2 points ago +2 / -0

They didn't lie though? They said THEY won't overturn RvW, never said the group of them wouldn't. Obviously they were saying they alone won't overturn it. Therefore not a lie.

1
Mitschu 1 point ago +1 / -0

Them telling her they cared deeply about "longstanding precedence" also was clearly a signal that they didn't agree with RvW.

Right to life: 1789. In our founding documents and existing legal doctrines before that. Pretty good precedent.

Right to kill: 1973. Forced down our throats without warning, and no legal protections before that even in antiquity. People still alive who remember the good old days before feticide was legalized. Not much of a precedent.

Do we still count as first world if our population is third world? The math on this is getting way too complex. I'm gonna need some duct tape, a chalk board and some string.

He's wasting his time. You can't persuade or reason with these murderous cunts.

They don't give a shit about law, precedent, history, truth, human rights, or anything else. They want to straight up murder children and not be questioned about it in any way. They want to be celebrated and lionized for their stunning and brave choice to murder a helpless and innocent child.

Evil, satanic scum.

She is right, you should follow precident, but that's based on the assumption that the original ruling was based on good law.
Roe was bad law, even if you love abortion.

Or more likely, she does understand but is choosing to lie about it for liberal political points.

1
hey_spike 1 point ago +1 / -0

Relying on precedent is simply a shortcut. No one wants to take the time in court to rehash widely accepted rulings. It is like using mathematical proofs. Or like relying on past scientific discoveries.

Galileo and Copernicus questioned the precedent and 'settled science'. Likewise 'settled law' is only settled until there is a strong reason to go the other way.

Marshall2 1 point ago +1 / -0

Excuse my ignorance, but I have never heard of a LAW of precedent. It is just deference to prior Constitutional SCOTUS decisions where possible to avoid constantly changing standards. And this is a long time (too long) Senator.

What the HELL is wrong with all you that keep voting for her. She's been in office long enough for you to know what she's like. Really, what the HELL is wrong with all of you. Kinda' like all of the people in New York that keep voting for Chuck Schumer. They've both been around long enough for all of you to know better.

1
T-Bear 1 point ago +1 / -0

Dominion.

That's what went wrong.

That's the whole thing about electronic voting. Once it is digital, there is no chain of custody. One data set can easily be exchanged for another data set, then certified as the "correct tabulation of votes".

I'm certain that's how these corrupt politicians both get into and remain in office: they pay to play.

The average Joe citizen has yet to realize they completely disenfranchised themselves from having their votes matter, when electronic voting was accepted. Add to that the truth the average American has been trained like Pavlov's dogs for complete obedience, and you have a perfect storm for rampant election fraud, so that the corrupt get in and (by and large) cannot get voted out.

MobileDev4Trump 1 point ago +1 / -0

1
Vlad_The_Impaler 1 point ago +1 / -0

If precedent was final say, then why ever have appeals, or have cases reviewed by higher courts?

Judges don't always get it right. Juries don't always get it right.

It can be any number of reasons. New evidence, lying witnesses, new witnesses, poor attorneys, partiality in judgement, witness tampering, fake news media cartel telling lies about the case, mobs threatening jurors, fake news liars doxxing jury members or people's family members and addresses, etc. etc.

We now know that the key person in Roe Vs. Wade never even got the abortion and eventually joined the PRO LIFE movement. That alone should bring the case under review because the person suing Wade soon realized abortion was morally wrong, did not get the abortion, and eventually wanted abortion banned herself.

“Law of Precedent” is itself a fundamental misunderstanding of the CONSTITUTION YOU MOTHERFUCKERRERERRRS

1
StadiumHopper 1 point ago +1 / -0

The law of precedence is this...

Sometimes judges get it right, and sometimes wrong. The law of precedent is, no preceding incorrect or poorly decided decision shall bind courts to continue stupidity. If living by every precedent was necessary, then DEMOCRAT SUPPORTED SLAVERY and protection of the KKK and JIM CROW LAWS would still be the law of the land.

This is the establishment talking point list.... It's severely flawed and short sighted... You miss the grand scheme of this... There are so many ways to change your view. But generally, People that have children, usually turn more conservative, more responsible, and on average contribute to a more family focused society. Even a big portion of the lower class you mentioned, if they weren't allowed to just kill their babies, many of them would mature in their life styles, and change their priorities... Not all, but more than zero, and we know zero of the lunatics going nuts about abortion are what we are talking about... They pray on the weak and needy and use abortion as their infectious disease to poison these people into thinking abortion is the only option, and they are helpless without it. It's a sick demented view and society is far better without abortion and the evil is reflects.

4
DontApologize 4 points ago +4 / -0

People adapt to their surroundings. If you give in on leftist ideas like abortion - they follow it up with things like UBI and public housing. So sure there would maybe be a bit fewer leftists overall - but there would be tons of leftism in your state of choice.

The new plan - make them HATE living in your red state is the better approach. Every bit of encouragement to get them out of red states should be explored.

I'd like to see red states go even farther. Use any excuse to cede from the union. The US is too large with people in LA dictating the lifestyle of people in Montana. We need to break it up.

The Federal Government is supposed to just handle things that states cannot - and each state should be like its own country. This IMHO is the only path forward. The right does not have will to use random acts of violence to get its way. But they would support ending the union. And once it is ended they would be willing to fight for say Texas. This organized approach is the only way that could work.

Imagine how great life would be without the Federal Government f'in it up. Texas could drill for oil again - meat prices would fall - you could build houses for families again. The potential benefits go on and on.

The larger your country the more disparate the needs and wants are.

This is the REAL inconvenient truth. I never understood why the left and right weren't reversed on abortion. The right should be doing everything in its power to live Sanger's dream of convincing leftist women to kill their babies, to prevent MORE leftist women in the future.

Yes, it's satisfying in the short term to see the libs owned and shrieking hysterically, but this is going to be one of those, be careful what you wish for things, as more and more ferals, kids who will be abused, kids who will be forced to live as the opposite sex, etc. And those kids will grow up, and we will ALL have to deal with them.
