xenophobic bigots

Whenever I teach facts to my students they flip out.

The truth is, bad people are doing bad things to our planet on purpose and blaming good people for it.

They’re doing it for a reason. And brother, it ain’t because they love the human species.

julianReyes 34 points ago +34 / -0

I remember when I explained to commenters on here that the elites like Bezos and Musk derive their power from lines of credit backed by the stock they own and they promptly chimped out and said that it should be made illegal, despite the American Dream being predicated on using your home as collateral for a line of credit.

25
SolidSnakeOil 25 points ago +25 / -0

I've had a harder time getting a line of credit after I paid off my mortgage. It's almost as if I lost all my financial value by not being indebted to anyone. 🤔

14
Alloutwar 14 points ago +14 / -0

True that.Need credit to get credit. My late brother always said the only freedom that really changed your life is economic freedom. When I think back on the last 25 years of my working life I really regret the money I spent on "lifestyle" stuff.Even medical aid - I basically pissed away hundreds of thousands on a service that I did not need.If I had not bought into all of that I would never have to work another day in my life.

1
MawaDeBlanco1 1 point ago +2 / -1

why would you need credit if you are debt free?

4
ModernKnight 4 points ago +4 / -0

If you want to purchase an investment property, but don't have $300k in the bank.

Edit to add: or want to start your own business, but don't have $300k in the bank.

3
MawaDeBlanco1 3 points ago +3 / -0

you shouldn't be buying investments on credit.

1
ModernKnight 1 point ago +1 / -0

Never heard someone say you need to pay for rental properties in cash before. Nearly every person I know who has purchased rental properties has done so with mortgages. If you have $300k lying around to do that with, great for you, but the vast majority of people don't just have that type of money lying around.

3
SolidSnakeOil 3 points ago +3 / -0

Even if you have the cash, you still need credit to make some larger purchases. Simply putting down a deposit isn't enough. Placing all the money in escrow isn't always enough to move certain things along.

3
Shezestriakis 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's because the current economy is designed to run on debt. They did it on purpose to take control of it and make money off the usury.

What they don't realize is that something built on nothing cannot stand forever.

Somewhere deep under the frozen ice of Antarctica is the ancient.city of T'relcska; twenty-five thousand year old alien ship. The metal ship is so vast that it alters gravity in a localized atea, Navsats noticed this and simply call it "the Antarctic Gravitational Anomaly". What they don't know is that through a strange string of events or perhaps proof that destiny has its own self-amusment; a man known as CornPop sits on the Kalbaskek throne and bides his time

Your conclusions match my own, brother. Keep on this path.

7
Injustice 7 points ago +7 / -0

Climate change is the atheist version of apocalypse. It's all bullshit since the switch out of the CFCs making hole in the ozone layer narrative. That was actually a proven thing and the decades of CFC use cost us some of the protection we had which in turn made us more sensible to the sun. Cause and effect.

But saying Earth should always be between temperature blah blah blah is bullshit. Scientist always say the earth is going to be 1c or 1.3c above average but what is the average because thermometers are rather modern invention and most places have a 100 year register.

Never mind drought years and late freezes have crippled human societies since we became agrarian instead of hunter gatherers.

6
EagleOverTriumph 6 points ago +6 / -0

Their models can't even "predict" historic records. That tells me all I needed to know. If they can't even accurately "predict" known data, how the fuck do they know what the "future" will be like? God it's so dumb I see people online who are always like OMG IT'S HOT IN SUMMER! OMG IT'S COLD IN WINTER! No shit Sherlock! It's almost like that's how it is or something! Also they never say a peep when we have a cool/cold day in Summer. But they'll immediately start spewing their bullshit if we have a warm day in Winter. Even if it's just mild like 60 degrees. Sometimes it's warm during Winter, sometimes we have a few cooler/cold days in Summer. That's just how the fucking weather patterns and otherwise works.

Add to the bullshit their "we're gonna have more, and stronger hurricanes!" I haven't heard a god damn thing about a hurricane that was any more bad that any previous one of equal wind speed blowing through. You'd think we would have a hurricane blowing in to the US coasts once every week or something the way they overblow this shit.

Mynewnamebutprivater 4 points ago +4 / -0

Pretty much malthusian theory about population growing faster than food led to assholes doing a semiwar on the poor, which is why there was an irish famine, then it conbined with evolution and social darwinism which bred eugenics.

The leading scientists of germany (and tge western world) in the 1880s- 1920s were crazy about eugenics and superior bloodlines, which led to the rationale of slaughtering undesirables during ww2.

Oddly enough, ive been reading a book called "holocaust victims accuse," where zionist leaders refused to help jews during ww2, because they needed that "sacrifice" to make israel, and many killed were "weak and infirm," according to some leading zionists of ww2.

After ww2, after what germany did, eugenics was an impolite topic in the intellectual/ political world, so instead it got called "population control," and in some cases like most countries in africa and india, US money were given to starving or poor countries who did forced sterilization campaigns or quit using deet( which brought down cases of malaria down to 14 in one year, then once deet was banned it went back to a few hundred thousand).

For general racism purposes, forced srerilizations or hysterectomies were performed on native americans in peru, usa, and canada, where a disturbing percentage of native american women got coerced into hysterectomies.

It also talks about how nuclear power was viewed as evil because unlimited energy = cheap energy, so they uaed retarded college kids in the 60s/ 70s to protest and they overblew the 3 mile incident too.

2
HocusLocus 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm still hung on doubting the whole CO2drivesTemp orthodoxy, for years now. There is a very weak CO2drivesTemp signal but there is a MUCH stronger TempDrivesCO2 signal out-shouting it from ocean outgassing. There is too much magnitude between the signals to (naturally) result in feedback. They still have to inject obscene amounts of force-feedback to get the model results they want.

The greatest tragedy is now there are young 'scientists' who have never known any other orthodoxy and they consider this tampering with the models and historical records to be normal practice. It would be someone else's job to point out the subverted science.

2
War_Hamster 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree with your observation.

The worst part of the models, to me, is that they have arbitrarily made carbon the control knob while completely ignoring two major inputs (solar activity and cosmic rays). The lack of those inputs renders the entire modeling effort moot.

The truth is, we are in the infancy of our understanding of how are climate works and it is beyond irresponsible to implement any policies based on that lack of knowledge.

5
Notablitheringidiot 5 points ago +5 / -0

President Joe Biden's first year in office

Fuck you.

Chronic 'under-investment in production & pipelines, thanks to ESG & climate activists

Germany has acknowledged that it will burn more coal in the years ahead to get cheap power. But they aren't going to get much of it from the U.S. Rather, they'll get it from China, which has tripled its coal output and doesn't care at all about whether its increased production will negatively affect the environment. China has among the laxest environmental laws in the world. So none of this is stopping climate change.

China has been one of the biggest winners from the Biden war on energy. The second winner is Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, who is waltzing to the bank. Russia has made $100 billion selling oil and gas to the U.S. and others at inflated prices.

7
UpTrump 7 points ago +7 / -0

Imagine being so hell-bent in reducing carbon emissions, only for your actions to end up increasing carbon emissions as a result. That is Monty Python levels of irony right there.

And all that virtue signaling with "I stand with Uk-" whatever, when in the end, you made your country poorer and weaker, and your enemies richer and stronger. This is the Biden regime in a nutshell.

1
MehNahMehNah 1 point ago +1 / -0

15
NullifyAndSecede 15 points ago +17 / -2

Is this one of those stats like Biden’s “job growth” numbers though? Where you compare a somewhat normal year to the depths of the COVID response?

13
try4gain 13 points ago +13 / -0

The conventional explanation for this is that as the economy opened up after COVID-19, emissions rose. People were flying less and driving their cars a lot more.

But that is only part of the story. Iconoclastic environmentalist Michael Shellenberger explains the bigger story:

"In 2021, emissions in the U.S. increased mostly because of increased coal use, not because of higher econ growth. Why? Because nat gas became more expensive. Why? Because of inadequate supply. Why? Chronic 'under-investment in production & pipelines, thanks to ESG & climate activists,'" he wrote recently.

2

You know what the primary 'greenhouse gas' is?

Water.

4
knnbccb 4 points ago +4 / -0

If you're still worrying about carbon emissions, you're part of the problem. Unironically, you breathe out CO2 every single moment. Wanna go kill yourself and fight climate change, suckers?

It's all a big scam designed as a cash grab for companies who peddle their 'green', 'eco-friendly' or 'sustainable' solutions.

Also, big daddy gov's cash grab through implementing a carbon tax.

The rabbit hole goes very deep. Please take a look at the 17 goals of the UN for sustainable development. The blueprint of the enemy is there, in plain sight.

WAKE THE FUCK UP!

4
RobinNet 4 points ago +4 / -0

Thanks to the Supremes, the twats at EPA can no longer make moronic claims like "CO2 is a pollutant". All life on earth requires it to flourish. Greenhouses pump in extra CO2 because the atmosphere has too little for optimum growth.

5
FireannDireach 5 points ago +5 / -0

The "lungs" of the earth are the oceans, and they will continue to create oxygen at elevated carbon levels because seaweed creates at least half of the 80% of the air we breathe. Warmer temps will also help seaweed flourish. Even UNESCO has admitted this, publicly.

That's why I'm for clean oceans. We can do more to clean them up. But the oceans will breathe regardless of what we do. I'm also for not chopping down rain forests, but they're not as important for oxygen as the liberals have lied they are. And I'm all for forest management that has led to more trees on the North American Continent than when we started.

And, I'm all for clean air. I've personally witnessed how the air quality in Los Angeles has improved. We can do more - but in ways that don't kill jobs and put the power of the cost of energy into the hands of corrupt democrats and one world shitheads. Imagine how many more trees we'd have if the country ran on cheap, clean nuclear power.

3

3
grantking2256 3 points ago +3 / -0

Okay fair question tho, is this due to the massive decline in 2020/2021 quarantines? Is the graph a steady decline, then a massive dip and a rise back near 2019 emissions?

If this is the case, please don't do this. Its like them claiming to have the most job gains and historic gap gains after reopening the government mandated economy shutdown. I cant stand these conflations, especially the economy one. The ammount of small businesses ruined and lives destroyed is nothing toconflating,

Anyway, I hope this isnt the case but if it is, lets not be them, please...?

The average lefty will shut you down in the first sentence so I suggest approach it carefully; don't lead with the Biden fact but rather put it last. Frame the conversation as if you are a concerned environmentalist.
