Are prostitute prices going up (inflation) or down (surplus)?

One of the leading indicators of a recession is when strippers start complaining about clients getting cheap.

Geralt_of_Rivia1 0 points ago +1 / -1

Except actual strippers are making great money now because construction workers are making great money

After Venezuela went full commie the price of bjs in Brazil dropped significantly.

Venezuelan Blowjob Queens® comes to mind 🤔

Nah, that kind of fluff gets cut first when you can’t afford food. Even simps have to eat.

15
VoidWanderer 15 points ago +15 / -0

You really underestimate the levels of desperation for a whiff of vag that most simps wallow in.

ProphetOfKek 7 points ago +7 / -0

Oh the true addict will remain despite consequences. But the overall demand will go down, and with supply going up, most of these girls won’t be making what they think they will.

Followed by "What'd I even join OnlyFans for?" cope.

They often don't even think of saturation with their decision making.

7
independentbystander 7 points ago +7 / -0

They don't think of the future, either. There are many stories of porn-whores who developed "remorse" after spending the money they were (over)paid for sex/nudity. They ignore the release forms they signed, and the quickly-spent payment they agreed upon. All that matters is their demands to "DELETE EVERYTHING reeeeeeeeeee" as if the producers can do anything to stop the spread of those pictures/videos once they have been distributed online (and downloaded, re-uploaded, etc etc.)

These are the "porn horror stories" one sees on YouTube and anti-porn sites, each one sillier than the last. These girls gladly accepted overpayment to have sex/be nude in pictures or video for public distribution, then blame the porn industry at large when they blow the money and fail to become wealthy celebrities.

> "Saturation" of the market is certainly a factor they don't consider. Anyone with a webcam/digital camera (and lack of shame) can easily produce their own porn, and with the "CURRENT YEAR reeeeeeee" level of narcissism among vapid self-obsessed females there is a massive amount of "competition" in terms of the flood of similarly generic unattractive people promoting themselves as "sex symbols." Even the "legitimate" porn business is feeling the unintended consequences of allowing "free" sites like YouPorn/PornHub etc to air their product (much as the "music" industry is failing, due to their short-sighted notion that giving music away for free with Napster/YouTube etc would result in massive profit.)

It should not be surprising that the economy is bad when over 40% of GDP is government spending.

The US isn't 100% communist, but it's halfway there.

19
dr_gonzo 19 points ago +20 / -1

We've been spending 45% of the national income on taxes for 50 years now. In the last couple, it's been much higher than that.

This is why I'm constantly harping on tearing down the Marxist mechanisms that make this possible. The progressive income tax, the welfare state, and most importantly, the Federal Reserve.

10
Forgedmale 10 points ago +10 / -0

Repeal employer mandatory witholding from paychecks for taxes. If everyone actually had to write a check at the end of the year to pay uncle Sam, taxes would be 1/10th what they are now.

4
Hanging_Chad 4 points ago +4 / -0

Repeal taxes

2
BringTheCat789 2 points ago +3 / -1

Exactly.

The current system is designed to distance people from the money that's taken from them. Income tax is withheld by your employer before you even see it, sales tax is taken out by the merchant and is usually only a few cents/dollars each time, and property taxes are typically paid via escrow and built into your mortgage payment (or your rent payment).

You have people not really understanding how much money is taken from them, even if they see the numbers on their paystub.

And then, just as bad, you have people who are like "I pay my taxes, so I deserve this" when they're literally getting more of a refund than they had withheld in taxes. These people don't realize they're not paying income tax, because they see the money is withheld, so they assume they're paying. They never understood.

My RSUs are taxed at 35% federal before I can even do anything with them. How do stop my employer from doing that?

Is this even a real stock photo without "diversity" being included against our will?

12
MR_ROBOT1776 12 points ago +12 / -0

I hope diversity people are starving in the sewage drains first. We were required to do a 4 hour diversity meeting at my company. One old hag said “All else equal, women should be hired over men” and only one female questioned her on it.

4
xanaxagoras 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'd tell that crowing old broad - good luck with the "all else equal". At my job these women carry on about how they feel and waste a ton of time just talking about their feelings in meetings. We're all remote, so I just turn that shit down to a background noise level and do real work.

Geralt_of_Rivia1 0 points ago +2 / -2

As someone who works in engineering management (federal government), we only hire men. Not because the government doesn't want diversity but because there is no "diversity" to hire

liaBIGmd 7 points ago +7 / -0

AT some point we have to start injecting ethics into our workplace and corporations.

It's disgusting that some companies see record profits, then invest in stock buybacks while their employees are living in poverty. So many of our systems are so broken.

1
yurimodin 1 point ago +1 / -0

cough Walmart cough........basically need to make employees of a company with a certain P&L ratio ineligible for welfare so the company actually fucking coughs up.

It means you'll have to compete in Clown World Olympics in the lesbian HR department to see if you can fit a watermelon up your ass.

I use that one as a reverse Uno

"What is your current salary?"

"Competitive"

3
NotAnotherNPC 3 points ago +4 / -1

If you want a competitive wage... have competitive skills

2
ImportantPerson 2 points ago +2 / -0

Employment participation rates at age 16-19 has dropped by 50% in the last 20 years. If you are wondering why people are demanding $15 an hour for McDonald's, it's because the people who used to be working these jobs were 16-19 years old and now they are 21-25.

Working a consistent job, even part time, is just as important as schooling and these people don't have a clue how to actually work coming out of college.

Is this site /r/antiwork now? Wtf.

Pretty soon when people are slaving for food it will become “competitive celery”

It’s a negative calorie food, very similar to the dollar!!

Some industries are still booming right now with a tonne of backlog. We can’t hire people for love or money right now. Regularly getting offers turned down at $180k for people we’d be hiring at $150k last year. Stupid wages being thrown around.

2
yurimodin 2 points ago +2 / -0

what industry?

Farage_massage 1 point ago +1 / -0

Broadly speaking, professional services.
