All paid for by a Jew. Don't forget who hates you and wants to destroy your history. the same people who are grooming your kids in government schools.

Not surprisingly, “The Thomas Jefferson Foundation is run by a roster of big-money Dem donors and former Democratic officials.” Monticello’s descent “has largely been funded by left-leaning philanthropist David M. Rubenstein, who donated $20 million toward that effort in 2015. Rubenstein is “on the boards of the globalist World Economic Forum, China’s Tsinghua University, and the Council on Foreign Relations, among others.” Now it’s beginning to become clear why all this is happening.

Not surprisingly at all, is it.

Rubenstein

I'm shocked that the people we expended so much blood and treasure to save from the holocaust would return with such ingratitude.

MythArcana 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm shocked the U.S. created Israel, only for them to come over here and run our country instead. Why did we even bother?

Big step in the right direction that patriots.win's mods haven't taken this thread down.

The bell curve of communism is heavily Jewish. The bell curve of Jews is heavily anti-Christ and anti-American. Just like how the bell curve of homicidal maniacs are black men.

None of this is rayciss or anti Semitic. It is the truth. If these people don't like it, then THEY should repent rather than demand that I be silenced.

Good job mods (massods? jk) letting artificially taboo free speech / truth bombs stand on this site for a change.

Glad the mods' nuts ARE FINALLY starting to drop.

I’m okay with coming to the tour and shaming the tour guide for being a pessimistic b!tch while I come in stronger appreciation for the man himself. Two can play that game.

Poplar Forest, Jefferson's vacation home in Forest, VA is open for tours, and is still patriotic. Last I heard, there's zero anti-white racism there.

Monster_Truckulent 3 points ago +3 / -0

Why don't they tell the truth? The plantations were set up as British military operations to supply the British empire with needed resources like cotton. Also those who financed the construction of slave ships, and profited greatly, were usually those with funny sounding names for Brits one often more associates with the 'kosher observant' crowd kek!!

Remember, if a Founding Father ever did anything 250 years ago that would be considered morally questionable by the standards of 2020, we all have to be mercilessly made aware of it. But don't you dare point out that St. Floyd of Fentanyl once held a gun to a pregnant woman's belly while his thug friends robbed her home, because that's completely irrelevant and you're just trying to derail the conversation.

6
ProudlyConservative 6 points ago +6 / -0

What did he (Floyd) accomplish except dying? It makes me sick how he was literally worshipped.

1
Monster_Truckulent 1 point ago +1 / -0

Plantations were set up as British military operations to supply the empire. After the Revolution they continued as independent contractors - but the whole thing was perpetuated by endless usury debt schemes by the 'usual suspects' reeeeeee!

My family went a few weeks ago. It was disgusting. When we asked my 7 year old son what he learned about after the whole tour, he simply said "slavery".

14
RussianBot6969 14 points ago +14 / -0

This is so very disappointing. Jefferson was a complex man; a brave man and a brilliant thinker whose words and legacy have done more to achieve freedom and inspire people to greatness than anyone in history outside of the Bible. At the same time, he failed to live up to those values himself, was cruel to his slaves even by the standards of the time, and could hold a grudge like no one else. In other words, he was human.

To reduce all of his rich legacy to "herp-a-derp slavery is bad" is infuriating, but America-haters do this to everything and their simple-minded followers lack go all-in on it.

2
OZ00MSTALLGEESE 2 points ago +3 / -1

i straight up do not give a single fuck about slavery.

THIS SHOULD BE POSTED AT THE ENTRANCE ASAP!!!

Have you seen this (they made Jefferson omit it for the final draft):

“He has waged cruel war against human nature itself, violating its most sacred rights of life and liberty in the persons of a distant people who never offended him …” — were a condemnation of George III, “the Christian King of Great Britain,” and his participation in and perpetuation of the slave trade.

“Determined to keep open a market where men should be bought and sold,” the lost passage continues, “he has prostituted his negative for suppressing every legislative attempt to prohibit or restrain this execrable commerce.”

This is gross but all a good sign because leftist are such crazy fucks they can't see passed their own obsession. This means that shit like this WILL backfire on their narrative because it's so on-the-nose retarded nonsense. People who go to Monticello of all places aren't going to be lectured by a bunch of embittered racist dipshits.

1
Monster_Truckulent 1 point ago +1 / -0

Did you explain that slavery was something that the British, and their international financiers (I don't know if you can explain the significance of their kosher background) set up to supply the empire with resources? That Americans risked their lives and died to end the British empire's reign of terror here - including many who despised slavery?

Have you seen this (they made Jefferson omit it for the final draft):

The same thing is happening at Madison's house too. As Marxists always do, they're intentionally erasing our history and our culture. They see that as a necessary prerequisite for establishing a revolutionary mindset. It opens people up to fundamental change.

There's no way our country survives with this many Marxists in it. The longer it takes people to realize that, the more likely the Marxists are to succeed.

Wow. I just read an article about how bad it's gotten there: https://nypost.com/2022/07/16/james-madison-sidelined-by-woke-history-in-his-own-home/ "No American flags fly at Montpelier, Madison’s plantation home in rural Virginia, and not a single display focuses on the life and accomplishments of America’s foremost political philosopher..."

He is one of the most brilliant men in history.

And anyone who knows anything about him knows that he wanted to abolish slavery from the get go -- but he and others knew they needed to first defeat the British.

C'ville is a woke shithole full of hippies & the rich college kids who keep the town afloat. It's honestly a really crummy town with little to offer: no food scene, va wine is terrible (yet people come anyway), just a lot of shitty dive bars for all the students.

The locals want it to be "weird" and "unique" like Austin. The park, just off the main downtown Mall, where they removed the Stonewall Jackson statue was always full of homeless and was avoided. The mall itself is riddled with panhandlers and subpar shops (like bookstores, a pawn shop, and some antique furniture) that have been there for 20 years where no one patronizes.

Obliviously since it is a college town, it's full of rich liberal kids and professors, and it doesn't give off the same vibe as any other small town in the rest of VA (excluding nova and Norfolk) when you're there.

What did you expect?

Trump Winery is actually one of the nicest down there. Still VA wine though...

Recently, the University of Virginia changed its sports logo from one featuring sabers with wavy handles. The wave design represents the "serpentine walls" that TJ liked. People complained that the walls were meant to keep people from seeing slaves, therefore the logo is pro-slavery, therefore it had to change. I am surprised they haven't yet tried to erase all connection to Jefferson entirely. But I suppose they can keep a perpetual anti-Jefferson exhibit up at the Rotunda. Maybe put up a pagan idol like New Orleans recently did to replace a Lee statue.

BillionsAndBillions 2 points ago +2 / -0

My family was in C'ville since the time we served Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe until about 2010 when many of us fled. Some of us are still there. The area around Monticello and Montpelier is full of relatives, and was peppered with Trump flags in 2020. C'ville is an utter sh*thole now, though. The county has gone full communist as well.

ITM - Didn't they talk about this on NoAgenda with a Boots on the Ground report. I was thoroughly disgusted. There is nothing healing about the was the left stuff slavery into everything. It's like digging at a wound to make sure it doesn't heal and has massive scarring.

I saw Monticello back in the 70's as a kid, still remember it. If I'm ever out that way again, I'll stop by and see it , and just laugh out loud at every bullshit comment. If you can't make it, you could always leave a comment in a review. BRB

I've been to Monticello several times.

The last time was about 4 or 5 years ago and I noticed the left wing shit back then

Can we do this with Martin Luther King Jr, talk about his affairs? Or at least trash people like FDR, and talk about Bill Clinton being a rapist? Maybe make one of the gay bathhouses in Chicago a historical landmark, for being somewhere Obama got pegged by countless men?

You mean 99% of govt employees- they are typically leftist slugs. I went to dc in 2018 and felt the same way in the museums and gift shops- I asked where all the president Trump items were and they looked at me like I was crazy-

Been a few times over the years, the last time 5 yrs ago. It's not just the slavery lecture that starts in the first room of the tour now, it's all the info they leave out for their indoctrination. There are a lot of gems in Monticello that are fascinating but barely touched on.

Like, there's a room of Jefferson's inventions, which the tour guide spoke on for less than a minute. I had to point out to my wife a glass case on a desk in front of us containing two slender pieces of carved wood connected by a hinge, each arm holding a quill pen at the end. This way, TJ could write with one pen so the second pen would duplicate his handwriting, saving time. The Woke jerk guide didn't appreciate me whispering that to her. As long as it's woke, I won't go back!

2
AngelMark 2 points ago +2 / -0

We were just there last week and we did our own self tour because the tour w the docent talking was all about slavery! Because we did our own tour and ignored the lib docents we really enjoyed it! Saw seeds Jefferson had in test tubes. His gardens are beautiful! He has tons n tons of old books and the grounds were beautiful. Saw his grave too!

2
wintervagina 2 points ago +2 / -0

Went to Trump Winery about 10 minutes away and while there enjoying lunch and a glass of excellent wine with my wife, we researched Monticello and considered paying a visit after lunch. That quickly changed after looking at the website. The whole tour pretty much seems to revolve around some fake slave houses and tells the fake history of the fake slaves that used to fake live there.

We ended up not going. Shame, because I really wanted to see the house itself.
