They should have killed every white person that showed up instead of having insecure borders

10
Geralt_of_Rivia1 10 points ago +12 / -2

They did that. That is why we hunted them and why I say we didn't hunt enough of them

18
2ScoopsMAGA 18 points ago +19 / -1

History is just one invader taking another's land over and over. White man is now the Native American. Being invaded and culturally raped and re-educated and censored, etc. You get the point.

IamDevo -12 points ago +4 / -16

24
Geralt_of_Rivia1 24 points ago +26 / -2

No, they were called savages for a reason - if you ever have been near a rez you would know that

There is a reason damn near every restaurant within a 200 mile radius of where I grew up still had a "no dogs or indians" sign on the door up into my mid 20s.

17
2016TrumpMAGA 17 points ago +17 / -0

I have a copy of an ancestor's diary written while settling on the plains in (iirc) the 1850s. About every third page is "The indians massacred the <insert settler family name here>."

17
MarchHare762 17 points ago +17 / -0

Most of the rez's I've been to look like someone fought a war there, and both sides lost

2
MauserShooter 2 points ago +2 / -0

So quick question.

What’s a rez runner.

12
Isaiah53 12 points ago +12 / -0

We killed them in bulk, to be sure, but quickly.

When they got one of ours, they made sure to do it in excruciating ways, like flaying, and tying the skinned and alive person to a pole. Or hanging them upside down, and slowly splitting them from the nutsack to the top of their head. Oh, and they also slow roasted them alive quite a lot.

White women, by contrast, were disfigured first, with knives and branding on the face and limbs, and then perpetually impregnated, so they could not and would not ever run away.

0
COLDWARPATRIOT55 0 points ago +4 / -4

Guess you need to do some real historical research. We didn’t want to kill anyone. We just wanted to be left alone, on the land we had since time began, to live out lives.
But no. The white guys thought they could just take anything they could see. We weren’t the barbarians. They were.
You know nothing about us.

2
Freyjaschild 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's a complete lie. I know an actual Medicine Man and he is well aware of the savagery indians were capable of. I suppose you think the Souix taking over The Black Hills in the late 1700's from another indian nation by war never happened? Individual Souix tribes warred with each other.

Brellin 4 points ago +4 / -0

Depends on the group, one willing to turn over the guns doesn't sound on the face of it like one of the groups that would have been doing the shit that would warrant that sort of reprisal. Then again I could be wrong, there were a lot of indian tribes that were unbelievable vicious and cruel, not just to white people but to everyone that wasn't part of the tribe to include other indians.

But that sounds like obvious ineligibility. Like a civilian surgeon getting a medal without even joining the armed forces. The surgeon refused to give it back and until 1977 it was in the family's possession before being returned. It has been revoked around 900 times. 870 of which from that one regiment you mentioned.

It literally is a blemish to let that stand because here is the story.

The 27th Maine Volunteer regiment was tasked with defending DC during Lee's campaign. Problem was their enlistment was almost up. So Lincoln authorized the awarding of the medal to incentivize reenlistment. Half of the regiment took the offer. In genuine government style of course the DoD LOST THE LIST!

So around 400 people had been promised medals, even though they only spent 4 days in DC, still had that as a stipulation in their enlistment. So they just said fuck it give all of em a medal. So 870 people got a medal half of them for literally nothing.

This is a genuine case of government fuckery bringing disrepute upon the merit of the award.

Stripping it from 20 men who when enacting orders to disarm Indian tribes came under sudden attack where 30 men died in close quarter combat and canon fire is not the same as stripping it from civilians or literally people that sat at home and were not enlisted at the time.

25 men were recommended for medals. 20 got them. The review process already happened. If the standards were lower back then so be it. But doesn't sound to me all 20 of em equally deserve a revocation. We have acts ranging from gallantry and bravery to carrying wounded comrades to safety.

"Musician John Clancy, artillery, twice voluntarily rescued wounded comrades under fire of the enemy."

So he'll be stripped too. Cause it's politically convenient to do so. How many more Indian wars MoH recipients will be stripped? What's next? Civil war soldiers who have old letters pop up where they use the n-word? Vietnam vets cause the entire war was a fraud started with a false flag attack? Desert storm vets cause both wars were illegal? Afghanistan vets cause it was a 20 year long failure?

5
Brellin 5 points ago +5 / -0

Shhh, you're not supposed to know about the Gulf of Tonkin pede, if you bring it up you might cause other people to actually look it up and that might cause the government (and the CIA in particular) a bit of embarrassment.

Ike's you kind of understand, though. If he was winning awards to go on his chest during WWII, he was in the wrong plce. Sure, there were battlefield generals, and those who died in combat, but even then what they earned should have been far below what their men did.

If we are removing medals from wars and battles that were unjust, it's gonna be a long fucking list. They did what they were asked with bravery, that's what the medal was for you fucking idiots

these faggots can't help themselves from virtue signaling.

America last. Faggotry and jacking off first.

Once again, congress tackling the important problems on people's minds...

When my significant other and I discussed marriage, we agreed what was in the past needed to stay there. We were both adults who'd had previous relationships. The present has enough challenges without dragging up the past, and the future can't be fulfilled successfully if you're hauling old baggage along.

You'd think the Congress has enough problems currently that they shouldn't be bringing up the past. Do something for the present and leave the past alone until the present is fixed.

We have problems going on TODAY and they are looking at shit that happened a hundred years ago!?!?

They are traitors to this country, they hate this country; why are people so stupid to keep voting for them? They won’t make their voters lives better because they hate the people who vote for them almost as much as they hate the people who don’t vote for them.

Why are people tolerating this shit?

Indians acting like savages and stealing cattle is an issue in the present day.

They’re really reaching now to try to trigger Conservatives.

clownworld30330 3 points ago +3 / -0

As well they should. But then, Congress wants to confiscate or guns, same as what led to the massacre at Wounded Knee.

As much as I'm in favor of this for the most part with a few reservations........maybe Congress could focus on the actual problems facing American citizens today instead of using their offices to do a critique of history.

Why would you be in favor of this?

Those Amerindians who got killed were enemies of our nation

Smurfection 0 points ago +2 / -2

No, they weren't. I think you're a racist piece of crap. Go spout your ignorance somewhere else you euro weenie twit!

Julius_Severus2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Racist is a ridiculous word invented by radicals to make white people feel guilty for caring about their kin and countrymen

Smurfection 0 points ago +2 / -2

Racist is an apt word for people who can't go through life judging other people on their content of character instead of the color of their skin.

Racist is an apt word for people who possess loyalty, pattern recognition, and an understanding of biology

Ridiculous waste of time & effort. Another era with different standards, different circumstances. Leave the past in the past & trudge forward. We have more important things that need to be done.

Female dems have nothing better to do than to aggressively stir up hate from another century. But wait there's more, once passed, they will demand all legitimate metals and awards be rescinded from all good and honorable men i.e., conservatives.

Were all those soldiers democrats?

Those savages deserved worse, they are lucky we gave them reservations rather than wiping them off the face of the planet

Taking guns away from Americans did not turn out so well
