The funniest today is the hee-hawing over some drone that injured like 5 people in Sevastopol

When you're parading that around as a big win, you're getting your ass handed to you.

They are bleeding the russian forces heavily though. The javelins we are sending over are wrecking their armor but its simply not enough to matter. If this is showing anything its that the myth of russia being a global military threat are all bullshit. If a second rate military like ukraine that is using cast off cold war tech is giving russia a good fight when russia is giving its all then what chance to do they stand against china or America? The only reason the russians haven't swept through and taken it all ~are~ the javelins and other modern arms they are getting.

92
ThoughtCrimeConvict 92 points ago +100 / -8

Ridiculously uninformed comment. Russia giving its all? No. Putin is absorbing casualties in order to limit civilian casualties. If they gave their all, this would have been over in a few weeks.

It's a just war which we haven't had since 1812.

Yeah, but we got a really cool overture.

He had an 80% approval rating according to media he controls. Russia isn't losing their war in Ukraine that they've had going on for 8 years, but let's not act as if it's going smoothly or that statements about the war or the efficacy of the leaders from either country shouldn't be taken with an entire mine of salt.

Hell as far as I'm concerned, the Russians were hired by Obama to keep a lid on the corruption of American (and likely other nations) politicos in Ukraine.

Obama lambasts Romney for claiming that Russia is a threat during the 2012 election.

Obama is caught on the hot mic with Dmitriy Medvedev (Russian President at the time, now deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council) saying that he'll have "more flexibility" after the 2012 election.

Russia invades Ukraine and annexes Crimea, Donbass, and Lutansk 13 months after the start of Obama's second term.

The Russians basically do nothing in the area the entirety of Trump's term.

Russia resumes offensive action 13 months (same time frame as before, down to the week) after Biden occupied office.

This isn't some war of liberation or whatever (Russian propaganda), this is the bargaining chip Obama offered to cover up corruption. The Biden occupation is flagging, so public support for US troops going there never materialized. However, he had to appear hawkish to try to throw off the scent regarding his and his son's corruption in Ukraine and because the Democrats in general have been screeching "Russia bad" for the last 6-7 years.

The "biolabs" is just another smokescreen issue. Again, Russia has had a military presence in Ukraine since 2014. That's 8 years. Why would the US allow such things to remain there if they were what everyone was hyping them up to be?

17
rayrax 17 points ago +18 / -1

lol.. Americans accusing others of deceiving and propagandizing its people..

Americans are delusional and mentally ill..

Communism 101.. accuse every one else of the evil that you yourself have done and claim a victim status.

-1
Yawnz13 -1 points ago +3 / -4

You act as if that's somehow unique to the US. I seem to remember Germany shutting down all of it's nuclear power plants in order to be more "green", and then they went and built a natural gas pipeline to Russia.

Meanwhile we continue to keep troops in Germany at the behest of their government to protect them from Russian aggression...that they have been funding for the last several years. How's that for deception and propaganda?

The war in Ukraine has been going on for nearly a decade and no one gave a fuck about it until 2022 when the Biden MSM told them to. I mean, wasn't Zelenskyy on the Dems' shit list during Trump's second impeachment? They were all for hyping up about how corrupt his government was.

Lol where are you getting this shit? The Russians are recruiting old fucks for 6 month contracts. They have no manpower.

9
CrispyQuesoSalami 9 points ago +12 / -3

Then why does Ukraine need weapons?

If the Russians have no manpower they should be good to go.

They got 60B worth of weapons and what not, make due. Clearly Russia is beaten since they have no manpower left.

Great success, no?

Oh.

4
magalee 4 points ago +6 / -2

0
ShampocalypseWOW 0 points ago +1 / -1

Believe it or not, you need weapons to fight. They didn't have enough. Some are lost or worn out. It's nothing new. Russia is having similar issues. It's hard to build replacements quickly. And the Ukrainians got 60B in credit for weapons, not the weapons themselves. Those take time to move.

3
Pissed_American 3 points ago +5 / -2

I saw that article from CNN pop up on the Google homepage that wanted to make it sound like Russia's military is suffering with manpower but it's bullshit. I looked into it. Just because they let you join up to 49 doesn't mean that they cant find anyone. It's just that men in their 40s are usually capable of military service. especially as POGs.

Also Who says they have no manpower anyway? Their numbers are comparable to the United States even they don't even have 150 million in Russia when America has over 350 million people.

I learned they can make up to 300,000 rubles monthly. That exchanges for 5,000 USD. Basically 10x the average wage for Russia. That's really good. I'm sure they don't have trouble recruiting if that's the case. That would be like if our military paid in the high 6 figures for non commissioned officers.

6
ThoughtCrimeConvict 6 points ago +7 / -1

Lol, that's true. Worse yet, Ukies have been shelling the shit out of civilian infrastructure just so they can blame Russian forces (and kill innocent people that they despise). Someone mentioned Patrick Lancaster above. Anyone can watch his videos if you doubt me. Hundreds of local casualties/witnesses dispelling the MSM lies.

6
Taco_of_Kiev 6 points ago +11 / -5

The US is still in Syria and Assad is still fighting jihadis (not the US-backed ones either). Try to keep up, dimwit. The Russians are trash. That's why they lob unguided rockets from their helicopters. That's literally the best they can do. They launch anti-ship missiles and anti-aircraft missiles at ground targets (and miss horribly) because that's the best they can do. They've lost thousands of tanks and APCs and now have to use shit they stopped fielding in the 60s because that's the best they can do. They abandon their shit as soon as they run out of fuel and then it gets hauled off by fucking farmers, because they are pussies and retards who can't do logistics or maintenance, much less fight. They are getting ground up by retarded Ukrainian conscripts. Just imagine what NATO forces would do to them. Wish we could see that but soon there won't be any Russian soldiers left to kill! Can't imagine how this is playing in the CCP leadership when they consider invading Taiwan... lol!

Hmmm. I’m confused. So you’re saying Russia doesn’t look at this as an actual war? In war, collateral damage is a given

11
ThoughtCrimeConvict 11 points ago +14 / -3

Correct. Russia has not declared war which is why they're calling it a "special military operation". There will still be collateral damage, but the idea is to keep it as low as possible, even if it means more Russian casualties. They could have come in with a US "shock and awe" campaign. But honor and looking out for ethnic Russians persevered. IMHO, Russia is making us look like gangbanging thugs in comparison to how we handled Iraq, for example. They are fighting a just "war" and doing it honorably. Hopefully even setting an example.

MR_ROBOT1776 29 points ago +34 / -5

I don't think Russia is using full force. Contrary to Ukraine propaganda, I think they're being very deliberate in avoiding civilian casualties and destruction of Ukraine. It looks like they've basically thrown all their Cold War equipment at them.

Putin has stated that they have yet to actually try, and has also welcomed the United States to come fight a ground war if we think we have a chance. Our government has also stated we cannot risk a direct conflict with Russia, and I don't think this is strictly due to nukes.

Lefits and Redditors are wrong about the Russian economy. They keep pushing that it's weakened, but their economy is doing great. The West is suffering and Russia hasn't even turned off the oil yet. If anything, we're either moving to digital currency in the coming years, or we're completely screwed when Russia, China, and Iran debase the dollar.

17
FliesTheFlag 17 points ago +17 / -0

Russia hasn't even turned off the oil yet

This is what most of those dildos don't realize, they are to busy believing what our supposed "intel" agencies are spewing and the media is regurgitating. Russia can cripple the EU in an instant by simply turning this off. But why do that when you can slow it down a bit cause economic pain and collect a premium on what you are selling, effectively funding your war and making profit.

15
3percenterFan 15 points ago +15 / -0

Russia has not called up any reserves and has not mobilized, ie clearly they have not used full force. The slow advance also has a political dimension: The longer this drags on, the louder the voices in the West to make peace, which the Russians could leverage to solidify their gains.

Also, unfortunately, the sanctions will help them in the long run, too. They are forced to rebuilt their industry independently from the West. This could one day become an extremely valuable asset even though it is painful now. I wish the US would so something similar and reduce the China dependency.

4
Xachariah 4 points ago +4 / -0

I wish the US would so something similar and reduce the China dependency.

You can say that again.

Oh no, we'd be forced to produce goods domestically.
Oh no, we wouldn't be giving out financial aid to other countries.
Oh no, we'd be in an armed conflict and forced to close all our borders and enforce them.
Oh no, other countries wouldn't send millions of legal immigrants here either.
Oh no, our rich would have to vacation (and spend) locally, to see and appreciate all the natural wonders in our own country.

How terrible. /s

-2
voiceofsanity -2 points ago +1 / -3

But I'd put damned good money on a no-nukes punch out with our forces and his. We'd push his shit in so far he'd never shit again.

We all know if Trump were in office, Putin wouldn't be talking like that.

8
ThoughtCrimeConvict 8 points ago +8 / -0

Most military analysts worth their salt would disagree. Look up Col Douglas Mcgregor, Scott Ritter, and a jootuber named the Dreizin report. Turns out shooting towel heads armed with only AK's and RPG's is not a great training run for modern day, hi-tech military combat. Edit: Oh, and NATO is a joke, in case you didn't know. Why do you think Trump wanted out?

18
DrCowboyPresident 18 points ago +22 / -4

If this is showing anything its that the myth of russia being a global military threat are all bullshit.

First off, Ukraine is(was) one of the largest standing armies in Europe, because of all the meddling we've been doing. Secondly:

You don't understand mobilization, do you?

Russia has not even begun to mobilize. They are using 8-10% of their total power, roughly.

You clearly do not study military strategy, you have this idea that when a country engages in war, they must be using their best, and all of it. They are putting 100% of their ability into the Ukraine, of course!

Because you have no idea what the concept of a 'Reserve' is. And if you had NATO as an opponent, you'd sure as Hell keep a massive reserve.

6
War_Hamster 6 points ago +9 / -3

It’s a bit closer to 15%, but you’ve got a good understanding of the situation.

11
DrCowboyPresident 11 points ago +11 / -0

The only thing we know for sure is that Soviet military stockpiles are...well...massive. It's getting put to use.

8
Neophilus 8 points ago +8 / -0

Reading the Mass Media is pretty easy, they’ve largely been silent lately which means their guy is losing. The only Ukraine coverage I see lately are attempts to pin un-corroborated war crimes on Putin or bragging about luxury yachts being seized. That’s all I need to hear to know Russia is winning.

3 days ago Ukrainians sent missiles into Donetsk that covered dozens of civilian blocks of buildings with anti-personnel mines.

https://www.rt.com/russia/559944-donetsk-ukraine-landmines-bombarded/

This entire weekend most of Russia was watching dozens of videos all over Telegram about civilians and cars were getting blown up on these 'petal' mines that are rather hard to see in the dark, before the city was able to spread the message that everyone needs to stay put until the sappers can finish their work (which will be a long while given the area)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haJUFZgXaCI

This isn't like the city engagements on the front lines where there is active military presence all over the streets, using buildings for cover. Those are residential blocks that are not being contested.

Russians want blood for this. A lot of talk this weekend about how this war cannot be allowed to end until Ukraine no longer exists.

-1
voiceofsanity -1 points ago +1 / -2

Maybe these mines were fired by Russians.

1
iamherefortheluls 1 point ago +1 / -0

You understand that Russians have 100,000 army in the region with anti-air defense systems watching the skies and tracking incoming missiles in coordinated radar systems? And that Russia donated older anti-air system to both DNR and LNR. They may not be able to track the targets fast enough to intercept them, but they sure as hell know the flight path.

That's thousands of eyeballs, belonging to three separate factions, watching the skies who would all have to agree to keep it secret about where multiple missiles came. A lot of those eyeballs by the way, the ones fighting on the DNR side, would have families living in Donetsk. You think they are all going to keep silent if they saw that it was Russians spraying mines over their home city?

Ukrainians throw out these completely retarded theories, aimed at people who have no clue about the state of the region.

0
voiceofsanity 0 points ago +1 / -1

And that Russia donated older anti-air system to both DNR and LNR.

There are no people in these so called DNR and LNR who are able to operate them anyway. Last time such experiment ended badly, when Malaysian Boeing was shot down.

You think they are all going to keep silent if they saw that it was Russians spraying mines over their home city?

Yes, they are silent losers taking this kind of treatment from Russians. Russia sends them to the front line with Mosins and steel helmets, while better equipped regular Russian army follows them and makes sure they don't run away.

1
iamherefortheluls 1 point ago +1 / -0

i feel sympathetic embarrassment to even read that and know there are people out there actually believe something so deluded and divergent from reality.

This despite existing in 2022 and observing a war with so much video footage coming out of it.

https://www.naturalnews.com/2022-06-07-ukrainian-troops-post-videos-senior-commanders-refuse-to-fight.html

Dozens of videos now of Ukrainian soldiers explaining that everything you posted up there - that's the Ukrainian side of this war. Underequipped newbies deployed to the front lines as literal cannon fodder just so they can absorb another day of Russian artillery fire at the cost of taking 50%+ casualties. Day after day after day. With the nazi elite troops behind them to prevent immediate retreats.

And literally thousands of videos all over the Russian internet from DNR / LNR and Russian forces, confirming the opposite side of the picture.

You can look at these DNR soldiers yourself https://ren.tv/news/v-mire/1007538-boitsy-dnr-shturmuiut-moshchnyi-ukrepraion-vsu-pod-avdeevkoi

do these people look to you like they need to be pushed from behind? They are doing daily escorts for Russian reports to demonstrate their progress.

~ paraphrased translation: "just our usual, easy approach without any casualties. Took 3 days but we took more territory once again"

There were articles published on the 28th of February (and immediately retracted) on various Russian news sites praising the liberation and unification of Ukraine and Russia. They absolutely thought that this whole ordeal would take a couple of days at the most.

1
preferredfault 1 point ago +2 / -1

The shorter a war, the higher the cost. This is why Russia hasn't taken Kyiv yet. Why take it early on, when it would be costly to keep, when you can take it later after offsetting that cost onto your enemy. Zelensky has been paying to keep Kyiv. And Kyiv isn't even strategic in any way, it's not a middle ground toward a goal, it's the end goal. When Kyiv falls, Ukraine falls. That's why Russia is taking everything else first, so there's nowhere else to run. It is very much like a game of chess, where the only piece Zelensky has left is the queen constantly moving around to avoid checkmate, until it's eventually cornered.

If it wasn't for all the identity politics and democrat corruption behind the Ukraine, people would be writing books about Russia's masterful strategy in this war. I'm sure it's even keeping woke generals up at night, because these fucks are realizing that if they ever wanted direct conflict with Russia, they would be in for hell. For all our toys and might, Democrats have made our military a joke. We would suffer some embarrassing defeats that shouldn't happen, because the people, from those in charge to tranny grunts, are soo busy patting themselves on the backs about how great they think they are, that they won't be able to see their faults. They'll never see the defeats coming.

1
zakat 1 point ago +1 / -0

I honestly think they tried to take Zelensky with their initial air port raid on Kiev. It failed. Happens in war.
If it would've been succesful it would've immediately ended the war so it was worth the risk.

"You 50 guys in some helicopters, win me the war within 24 hours." You'd be stupid to not take that risk even if they had only 5% chance of being succesful.

0
BigguthDickuth 0 points ago +1 / -1

Still needs to be pointed out that Russia has either been half-assing this war or their military really is shit.

For example, they're still defeating trenches by shooting 10,000 BM-21 impact-fuse rockets at them, hoping one rocket hits something important. You defeat trenches with air burst munitions, so where the fuck are they? Why is Russia still relying so heavily on "dumb" artillery? They have their own GPS system, where's the GPS-guided munitions?

Russia doesn't have armed drones on par with even the absolutely ancient MQ-1? Really?

Or, why aren't they just carpeting FAB-500 bombs on the trenches? Because they need heavy bombers to carpet bomb. So where are the heavy bombers? They can't fly because they're scared of Ukrainian air defense. So where are the anti-air defense weapons like anti-radiation missiles or stealth aircraft? Uhhhhh... umm...

I don't really get it at all. They're still using Konkurs missiles and RPG-7s for fuck's sake.

4
ThoughtCrimeConvict 4 points ago +4 / -0

You obviously have military experience. I don't, so I will stay in my lane. But is it possible that Russia is only using what they feel is necessary to complete the "special military operation". After all, with the threats from US and Nato, isn't it possible that they are reserving most of their might for that potential fight?

4
PraiseBeToScience 4 points ago +4 / -0

Maybe at first, that was my thinking, that they were just expending old equipment, but it's been 6 months with only "mediocre" progress made thus-far and they're getting bogged down just firing artillery at trenches. You can see the videos on telegram and they make this propaganda vids where one rocket hits the trench, then it zooms out and you see literally 400 craters that did nothing. The US has airburst 30mm ammo for the Bradley M2, airburst grenade launchers, etc. All that shit is for clearing defilades.

I dunno, I mean, there has to be a reason, but Russia's failure to even take the skies is kind of absurd. I get it, Ukraine has lots of air defense, but it should only be high altitude air defense that would threaten your bombers, and long-range stuff is radar guided meaning it's vulnerable to HARM-type missiles. I'd love to know what the hell happened, and why they're not flying nonstop sorties of electronic attack aircraft accompanied by HARM-type carriers just begging air defenses to turn on their radar.

Personally, I don't think their goal is to conquer Ukraine. Right now, with every day that passes, they're proving to the world that they can do whatever they want and nobody will do anything to stop them. Also, I'm sure Russia has their own military industrial complex as well and they're no doubt due for a new proxy war. I'm expecting this Ukraine thing to end up being just like the middle east with how long it lasts for and the scale of fighting that goes on there.

1
ThoughtCrimeConvict 1 point ago +1 / -0

I hear you. I watch Intel Slava Z daily on Telegram and see the destruction of dirt and weeds with a ton of munitions. You might appreciate the Dreizen report on yt. Dude gets tons of accolades for his analysis and provides it at your level. Thanks for your service and input, brother.

2
preferredfault 2 points ago +3 / -1

"Why is Russia still relying so heavily on "dumb" artillery"

Probably because it's cheaper. They don't need to win this war tomorrow. The longer the war drags on, the more resources and manpower Ukraine has to expend. Russia is effectively sieging Ukraine, but not just from outside the castle, but from within too.

2
MasksAreChildAbuse 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is what is confusing me, from what I understand Russia has long taken the regions it was looking to support. And they are done now, those regions are now under Russia control. This war still “ongoing” seems fake.

3
preferredfault 3 points ago +3 / -0

It still takes time to claim a region and fortify it. What's yours today, could be not yours tomorrow. The longer they hold a place, the stronger their claim and capability to hold it. Russia's just consolidating its position, that's all. The war is over, Zelensky just doesn't know it yet, or doesn't want people to know it. Now it's all just going through the motions toward the final outcome.

2
America1stAndOnly 2 points ago +2 / -0

Our media and Ukraine would never be able to accept the idea that Russia got what they wanted and just stopped. They will have to push this idea that war is still happening. Gets them more American blood money and the rest of us get to watch a new proxy war.

It's not like all this money is going to the Ukraine. This money is going to American weapons manufacturers and defense contractors and more than a little bit of it somehow makes its way back into the pockets of American politicians in one way or another.

So we're not actually generous with foreign aid because our politicians want us to be nice, it's because what goes around comes around and more than a few of them are getting pieces of various pies.

1

so you're saying US is more corrupt than Russia or what's your point?

0
libman 0 points ago +1 / -1

Russian corruption is all about the legacy of communism.

From when Russia was ruled by the Trotskies, Lenins, Stalins, Khruschevs, Brezhnevs, etc (none of them ethnic Russians).

Ukraine has even more of that, PLUS the corruption imported by GloboHomo. Like your boyfriend Biden.

Corruption in Russia has been falling. Corruption in Ukraine has been rising.

Most of what they call """corruption""" in Russia now is lack of gay pride parades, avoidance of bullshit UN environmental norms, rich people being able to avoid traffic jams by buying sirens, etc.

1
Kamen 1 point ago +2 / -1

False.

Ukraine scores better than Russian on corruption indexes that don't measure liberal bullshit like gay pride. They measure bribery, ability to conduct business, state capture of private interests, etc.

Corruption in Russia has not been 'falling' by any independent measure other than the Kremlin itself and your boyfriend Putin.

1
libman 1 point ago +2 / -1

Ukraine scores better than Russian on corruption indexes

You claimed "Russia seems to be better at corruption than [Ukraine]".

Talk about "the pot calling the kettle black"... But:

https://www.transparency.org/en/cpi/2012 - Russia less bad than Ukraine.

https://www.transparency.org/en/cpi/2013 - Russia less bad than Ukraine.

https://www.transparency.org/en/cpi/2014 - Russia less bad than Ukraine.

https://www.transparency.org/en/cpi/2015 - Russia less bad than Ukraine.

Then came the war-time lies.

... your boyfriend Putin.

To be fair, lying during a war is common practice. It's really just propaganda.

7
Moose_Antlers 7 points ago +7 / -0

Back in the Soviet days, the state news agency was called Pravda (Truth). It printed what the Politburo deemed to be the official "truth." Put another way, it published nothing but lies and propaganda and everyone knew it.

The state news agency Zelensky uses is called Ukrainskaya Pravda (Ukrainian Truth). The function of the two agencies is identical.

Russia is advancing. Zelensky doesn't want to admit it. He's been talking up a counteroffensive of over 1 million men. Where are they coming from? No one knows; conscripts at best. Who's training them? Several thousand are getting NATO training in Poland right now, but that's not going to cut it. And how are these men to fight? With what vehicles? Russia destroys everything the West sends as soon as it crosses the border into Ukraine. The rest of the weapons are being siphoned off and sold on the black market in a massive money laundering scheme.

What's taking Russia so long?

  1. They're still trying generally to avoid civilian casualties. They still understand that there is a hearts & minds element to conquest.
  2. They're taking cities right now. Urban warfare is unbelievably dangerous and slow. You speed it up by reducing the city to rubble, but see #1.
  3. They've got a humanitarian crisis. The Ukrainians have been starving these people, siphoning off supplies to the military. The civilians with money fled. The ones without are getting by as well as they can with two armies marauding through and commandeering what they want/need. Russia has been attempting to provide for the civilian population as it goes, maintain public services, and maintain their own logistics and supply lines. That's the inglorious but absolutely critical part of war and it takes time.

So, Russia advances on its terms, not on Zelensky's. In all honesty, if the Russians wanted to end this the way Stalin wanted to end WW2, they absolutely could do it, and quickly. One of those Kinzhal hypersonics right on Zelensky's house is well within their capabilities.

They aren't afraid of nukes. And no one is going to want to use a nuke because if retaliation. And this fabricated narrative that for some reason they are the only enemy out there with one or with something that can do as much damage as a nuke is laughable.

0
voiceofsanity 0 points ago +2 / -2

Russia is a most aggressive country among big ones that repeatedly threatens to use nukes against US in their propaganda for internal audience. China behaves better in comparison, China can outcompete US in economics and slowly replace US as a superpower, but does not declare they'll use nukes just because they can.

1
dirtymikeandthebois 1 point ago +1 / -0

And you believe all that? A nation that cannot, apparently, handle a far inferior country in Ukraine, is somehow a threat to us?

0
voiceofsanity 0 points ago +1 / -1

War in Ukraine is a conventional warfare without nukes (at least for today). Putin wants Ukraine as a loot, to take resources, territory, forcefully convert people into Russians. War with US will be definitely nuclear. Ofc Russia has no capabilities to invade USA, but can turn many cities into the radioactive ashes.

1
dirtymikeandthebois 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sure. And nuking New York City and San Francisco at the same time won't put a dent in what would be coming for them in retaliation. It would absolutely hurt, but it would spell the end of them. - IF they are actually having this much trouble with Ukraine. And yes, that includes our handicap of woke militarism

Depends what they mean by winning. In a limited war style scenario, the Russians are tactically superior despite higher technology weapon deliveries. 1
Kamen 1 point ago +3 / -2

That's what most don't understand. You can examine events on an operational, tactical and strategic level. Russia won so far on tactical and operational, but lost strategically

1
Norwegianskier 1 point ago +1 / -0

We will see what happens.

So far they consolidated NATO in the north and galvanised the eastern europeans against Russia.

I am curious to see how far west they can/are willing to push. I personally would prefer to keep them out of the carpathian mountains. Depending on the amount of land they want to hold will dictate the eventual intensity and size of the resistance far into the future.

There is also political cost. One of the most surprising things to come out of this conflict to me is the absolute ridiculous performance of Kadyrovs tchechen fighters. All respect is gone.

2
Kamen 2 points ago +3 / -1

It will take them 40 years or so to reach the Carpathian Mountains at this pace.

I don't think this is sustainable for them for even 1 year so I think this is pretty much the limit of their advance

Okay, two thoughts:

Zelensky isn’t lying: Zelensky believes the west has his back since there is no way that Ukraine can stave off Russia militarily or economically. The truth is that the west does not have his back at all. They are only evaluating Ukraine as a positional tool to break neoliberalism into Russia, while feeding in the neo-aristocracy that neo-liberalism creates.

Zelensky is lying: he is trying to project strength to the west that the operation is going well and that they can secure the victory for $9.99 billion. It is a strategic lie.

So either he is a liar or an idiot.
