What is you didn’t want your dog to get pregnant? Because this shit has more estrogen than a month of birth control

Good man

Would rather feed my dog raw Bill Gates.

True, but I didn't say it would be all at once.

I heard too much commie can give dogs indigestion. Might try mixing a little treasonous RINO meat with it.

You only need 16 pigs to dispose of a body in one sitting. You have to starve them for a few days first.

Wet dog food at least has meat in it and tastes better.

Yep. It isnt bad, it is just 8 dollars a pound and replaces what is 2 dollar a pound ground beef. While that 2 dollar a pound ground beef is now ~2.80 a pound... not exactly 8 dollars.

67
LibertyisYuge 67 points ago +71 / -4

It not bad except the bitch tits it gives you from super high estrogen that it has in it.

22
CrackerJack2 22 points ago +24 / -2

Ingredients:

Peas, mung beans, faba beans and brown rice team up to give you products that are a good source of protein.

Mung beans only have some phytoestrogen in them, and they are considered healthy. Still, here's no soy in it, beans that have the most phytoesteogens.

5
replies_reshmies 5 points ago +7 / -2

Even phytoestrogen isn't bad. It attaches to estrogen receptors cuz it fits, blocking the uptake of estrogen. And while phytoestrogen does sort of act like estrogen, the effects are minimal enough to be statistically negligent. The whole soy/estrogen thing has been blown waaay out of proportion, cuz it makes for good memes. I'm still not touching that ultra-processed plant based crap, but just because it's so processed that there's barely any nutrient density, so you need to eat 2-3x as much to feel sated.

-1
HadrianTheGreat -1 points ago +2 / -3

Alright, you guys keep eating soy, keep getting bitch tits, and we will keep laughing. Deal?

No its not, that imitation meat garbage is loaded with phytoestrogens, like a fucking absurd amount.

7
Geralt_of_Rivia1 7 points ago +15 / -8

Peas, mung beans, faba beans and brown rice

Beer has more phytoestrogens

8
NZbacon 8 points ago +10 / -2

Beer doesn't have phytoestrogens you fake news shill.

The brewing destroys it.

6
trumpisgodandsavior 6 points ago +8 / -2

You'd have to eat it on a pretty consistent basis for any effect like that. But it does have estrogen so not worth it.

In fact any of you that eat soy try this instead

Where is beef $2.80 a pound. It's $6 a pound right now.

6
Allister 6 points ago +6 / -0

I don't buy or eat it, but the Aldi 73% lean is $2.29, and most local stores still regularly have their 73% lean for under $3/lb...

I personally grind all my own from steaks and roast after hand trimming, depending on the sales when I buy, it comes out to probably about $8/lb after hand trimming but I know exactly what it is vs their mix of random beef cuts and fat slabs...

6
MawaDeBlanco1 6 points ago +6 / -0

that's how I do deer, I cut the entire thing up, loin and all hand trimmed then mixed 20% pork fat and double grind. If I don't get a deer I will use steaks and roasts on sale as well, but trim all fat and use pork butt to mix in.

2
Geralt_of_Rivia1 2 points ago +4 / -2

Ground beef is traditionally chuck for a reason - there arent steaks in the chuck, it is all too small of muscles to cut a steak out of. It is quality meat but it is either stew meat or ground beef.

2
Prometheus76 2 points ago +2 / -0

I will submit, however, that chuck steaks rival any steak if you sous vide them, then finish them on the grill. Ribeye flavor for half the price.

1
TommyJarvis 1 point ago +1 / -0

Can confirm this.

3
Geralt_of_Rivia1 3 points ago +5 / -2

Cheap ground beef like that, bulk prices.

5
Gyrfalcon 5 points ago +5 / -0

Not where I shop. Last sale of 80/20 was 3.99. I can't buy 1/2 a cow, no freezer, no room for one.

1
QuickHands 1 point ago +2 / -1

You're either being really low effort for comedic effect....or mom does your shopping for you and you're LARPing, because nobody who actually buys ground beef would just call it "ground beef", name a random price, and not specify what % lean they're buying. It'd be like insisting steak costs $15/lb but not specifying what cut, you sound like someone riffing, not making an actual argument.

96% lean is close to double the price of 73%, add another $1/lb or so for Angus, $2 for grass fed, $1 if you're buying a single pound at a time, etc. But in Washington state, you have to be going out of your way to pick the worst deal possible to buy 80% lean (the most common) for anywhere near $6/lb. And we ain't exactly a farming state, most of that stuff is trucked in from 1000+ miles away.

2
preferredfault 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm not though. Where I am, it's $6 a pound....before tax. And it's only a 30 cent difference between 80% and 73%....and I don't live in NY or CA. Even the cheapest carton of eggs, the one that used to cost $1, is $4 now.

6
0815 6 points ago +6 / -0

You can get Wagyu Beef for 6.50 a pound. Who wants to eat a plant and chemical cocktail for more $$$$?

-1
Geralt_of_Rivia1 -1 points ago +1 / -2

Outside of a curiosity, no one

7
BigDickTurner 7 points ago +7 / -0

And this is proven in every crisis or panic-buying event, when the shelves are stripped bare of every single product - except the vegan shelf, where the soy 'meat' is always fully stocked and untouched. Thats been my favourite part of the whole pandemic - the proof that nobody was eating this crap, its just stocked in amounts to make you think theyre selling plenty. (The full fat milk always sells out first too, even though the displays for all the different milks are the same size. So its clear they dont sell at the same rates and half fat is not the more popular choice)

3
TruthyBrat 3 points ago +3 / -0

THIS!

I saw this with my own two eyes on the first day of Covid panic grocery buying in 2020. I was in a grocery that was almost completely stripped of meat, bread, milk, eggs, etc. Yet here was an almost full cooler of Beyond Meat and similar products. I still regret not having taken a picture. I did make a laughing comment to some rando walking by, but he was too into freak out mode to respond.

3
Ilove45 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lol, I talk to random people in the grocery store, too!

2
TommyJarvis 2 points ago +2 / -0

I drink skim, by choice. I like it.

Also I use it as a way to keep my macros in check. The first thing to run out in stores, in my experience, is skim, but that’s because fewer people drink it and they don’t stock as much.

2
BigDickTurner 2 points ago +2 / -0

Drink what you prefer, I'm not the boss of you. Happy to concede things are different in your area, but in mine its definitely always the full fat that goes first. All across the city. Im guessing your stores dont ever sell out of soy 'meat' though. Thats got to be a constant, because theres no good reason to buy that shit. Well, unless you cant afford new boobs and want to try high dose estrogen

0
Pandas4Trump 0 points ago +2 / -2

First the 1% goes, but I didn't say anything, because there's fatter milk. Then they came for the Skim, and I said nothing because it tastes sour. Then they came for the whole milk because meat was out of stock. All that was left was 2%. The pain... The horror... It haunts me to this very day

5
Continue 5 points ago +5 / -0

Don't even understand how these fake meats can cost that much.

I'm sure the profit margins are very high and they have tons of early investors that treated this like some kind of inflated tech company stock that are looking to recoup their initial investment, but it's still an insane price for beans and oil.

3
MarcusAurelius 3 points ago +3 / -0

Where are you getting ~$2.80 prices? Here it's about $5.00.

15

You mean you don't cut your steaks into small tubes, dye them green and add flavors to make them taste like a green beans? 🤣

That said, yeah I have often wondered why those against eating meat want their food to taste and look like the meat they refuse to eat...

6
QuickHands 6 points ago +7 / -1

Same reason Lesbians claim to hate penises, but shove penis-shaped objects up their vaginas. They don't hate dick and never have - they just dislike the men they're attached to, ironically enough, because the women themselves generally aren't worth men attaching themselves to.

3
TommyJarvis 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lesbians don’t exist. They’re just women who had a bad experience with a man, or are so pathologically afraid of bad experiences with men they can’t bring themselves to try.

None of them intend to be lesbian because it’s just not in their nature.

Now, I will add that thanks to the incessant gay hero narrative that is in our culture ATM there are young girls who are pretending to be lesbian because they are seeking attention and accolades from adults (young girls crave praise from adults, it’s what makes them easy pickins for groomers) and those will quickly dissolve.

Well there's your answer. They don't. This was marketed for the part-time vegetarian that what went on it for fat for a couple of months, went back and forth.

A strict vegetarian or vegan would not eat something that looks or tastes like meat.

3
johnqpublic864 3 points ago +5 / -2

Vegans, aka faggots, are retarded and libtarded. Don't put anything past them.

1
C0vidiot1984 1 point ago +1 / -0

I never got why other people are so obsessed with what others want to eat... how does it effect you at all?

1
TommyJarvis 1 point ago +1 / -0

“I never got why other people are so obsessed with what others want to call their gender… how does it effect you at all?”

Because injecting toxins into our culture is bad. The vegan lie is a dangerous one. It convinces people to hurt themselves by avoiding critical nutrition. It makes them weak and stupid and more easily manipulated.

YES there is harm.

0
C0vidiot1984 0 points ago +1 / -1

And here you are to save them from themselves...smoking is bad too you gunna go on a crusade over that too? What about refined sugar? GMO? The danger on not accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior?

How about: this is America, mind your fucking business.

Nobody should give a fuck if a grown man wants to chop his peepee off either, just dont make me call you a pretty lady.

1
TommyJarvis 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’d be happy to mind my business but these “social contagion” issues DONT stay contained. They spread.

You even nailed it, unintentionally, with the “just don’t make me call you a pretty lady” comment. They ARE doing exactly that, and it’s happening because conservatives took the tactic of “it’s none of MY business” for too long. We let that social contagion spread.

And “GMO”? What the fuck are you? A white guy with dreadlocks wearing a RATM shirt drinking a Starbucks at a WTO protest in 2002?

1
heeeeeemeyer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Never trust someone with an eating disorder

1
TommyJarvis 1 point ago +1 / -0

Gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you, there. I personally know a few vegans that eat “meat substitutes” all the time. They say things like “it satisfies that meat urge I feel sometimes”.

It’s like non alcoholic beer (which has come a very long way since O’douls and Sharps). Yes I quit drinking, but I do like the taste of beer still, so the NA beer is good for that.

Sometimes people give me shit for it, but I’m not like militant anti alcohol for the world, I just don’t drink alcohol personally but still sometimes want a beer.

1
NvJohansson 1 point ago +1 / -0

The few lifers I know won't touch meat substitutes.

Same with alcohol. If you're an alcoholic and you're dry, why drink something that tastes like beer and makes you want to drink beer? IDK, it's just strange to me.

2
TommyJarvis 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well I’m not an alcoholic. I quit drinking because I wanted to, not because I had to. Non alcoholic beer doesn’t make me want alcohol, but I do like the taste of beer and I kind of like the ritual of “having a beer”. It was the alcohol that I didn’t like, the way it made me feel, what it did to my body and mind.. etc.

I’m the kind of person that can’t “hold his liquor”, you know the kind. I start drinking and I can’t control it. So it was super easy for me just to not do it anymore, and that’s been a huge boost in life.

1
user365927285937 1 point ago +1 / -0

The taste of beer is entirely from the alcohol though. Otherwise you’re drinking aged bean water

1
NvJohansson 1 point ago +1 / -0

I collect scotch. So l drink scotch mostly just to taste. And beer here and there. But those here and there often get closer together especially in the summer. So 20 years ago when l was in my 20s, I decided to drink only one out of every two years. So even numbers like this year is lots and lots of sparkling water mixed with juice. It's not for everyone, but that works for me.

2
TommyJarvis 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, I tried every tactic in the book to learn to control it once I had a drink in me. In the end it always turned out the same.

Some people just shouldn’t drink. I can accept that.

I realized the best tactic for me was just not to have the first one. That was easy, because when I wasn’t drinking I didn’t necessarily want the alcohol.

2
Sumarongi 2 points ago +2 / -0

because even vegans are omnivores. They fact that they choose not to eat meat doesn’t mean they don’t have a taste for it

21

No. A friend threw a vegan hotdog to me a few months ago and I spit that nasty shit out immediately. I could tell right away that it wasn’t even comparable to low-grade hotdog meat

7
Geralt_of_Rivia1 7 points ago +8 / -1

Tried it, not bad, a bit too salty.

Though I have also eaten thousands of hamburgers "rejected by the California penal system, fit for human consumption"

3
AtrueSkizo 3 points ago +3 / -0

If a prison rejects the meat, you gotta be a little suspect bro. I mean a hotdog compared to hamburg is a big difference and some prisons now have regs on what they can feed their inmates. But to me, I hear you, meat is meat and i eat it allllllll, I also eat every part of the deer I bag. Every. Part. that is not full of shit or bone.

beyond was so bad it was inedible. the girls who are vegetarian-ish wouldn't even try it. hell, the fucking dog wouldn't eat it.

impossible was weird. the texture was off. you could definitely tell it was not real beef. they take the fat content off the charts to try to make it closer to 80/20 or 70/30 but it just doesn't firm up correctly on the grill.

80/20 (real beef, 20% fat) was by far the winner. neither of the plant burgers even got a single vote.

17
K-Harbour 17 points ago +18 / -1

When an impossible burger is $6.50 and a regular burger $2, I know one reason why it did not succeed.

16
Geralt_of_Rivia1 16 points ago +16 / -0

A regular burger is 4 dollars, though yes.

1
QuickHands 1 point ago +2 / -1

$4 for a premium burger. Plenty of places still offer dollar/two-dollar burgers with some 1/5lb patty on a cheap bun with processed cheese and a few squirts of mayo and ketchup.

It's rare that you see anyone going to Burger King in my neighborhood anymore. Everytime I drive by it, no one is there. Ever since BK went super woke, less and less people eat there. I remember seeing lines at the drive through before Trump was in office. Now I'm surprised if I see anyone there at all.

I'm not sure if the impossible whopper was the cause, but I'm sure it has something to do with that and the woke shit they did during pride month that contributed to their failure.

McDonald's and Arby's are across the street and they get busy AF during lunch hours. But not BK. It's just there.

5
Thrasymachus 5 points ago +5 / -0

Being woke shouldn't have been the reason people stopped going to Burger King.

People should have stopped going to Burger King in the late 1980s after several rounds of leveraged buyouts and consolidation led to the modern era of slashed quality (did I say "slashed"? I meant slashed, and then slashed again, and then one last time for good measure) and truly disgusting no-fiber "food" mush they shovel at those places. Anyone with dignity simply does not eat at Burger King.

1
Geralt_of_Rivia1 1 point ago +2 / -1

Burger King has the shittiest burgers by a long shot. McDonalds is consistently pretty good

2

8
first_amendment 8 points ago +8 / -0

Well, there are just too many meatless brands out there, and they are all over priced, and most of them are made out of soy & estrogens.

There is a good market for plant based "meats", but they are doing everything they can to exploit "socially responsible" consumers but not the consumers who want valued pricing. Certainly there is a trade off somewhere between being highly profitable, and pricing towards the masses and banking on volume sales. It is really up to them if they only want to be a niche product or a major food producers....providing agenda 2030 doesn't happen.

My father had one and liked it. He hasn’t eaten a real hamburger in over 10 years since his heart surgery. The only problem was, it had so much coconut oil that it had more saturated fat than ground beef - so it’s not even healthier.

eating meat and fats aren’t bad for your heart. he should fire his doctor

2
Gyrfalcon 2 points ago +2 / -0

All based on incorrect science. Meat and fats were never the cause of heart attacks. President Eisenhower had a heart attack and cholesterol was assumed to be the cause. Read Gary Taubes.

It's always been the sugar. Biggest scam they ever pulled, besides the 2020 election steal

2
user365927285937 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nope. Vegetable oil

-1
heeeeeemeyer -1 points ago +1 / -2

Stop being a contradictory fag. They're both very bad for your health.

2
user365927285937 2 points ago +2 / -0

Fuck you dipshit. You're too fucking stupid and arrogant to admit you were wrong.

0
heeeeeemeyer 0 points ago +1 / -1

I'm wrong about sugar being bad for you?

1
user365927285937 1 point ago +1 / -0

You claimed it is the cause behind heart disease. I corrected you and stated that it is vegetable oil. Instead of just being a normal human being and accepting reality you chose to be a faggot instead.

But trans fats are not fats. The coconut shit has a lot of trans fats.

3
Rob_Belmonte 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah but try telling trans fats they will never be actual fats.

1
Gyrfalcon 1 point ago +1 / -0

Wrong! From Livestrong

Total fat: 14 g Saturated fat: 12 g Trans fat: 0 g

From WebMD

Trans fat: 0 grams

They aren't eating the dog food! Quick, push beef prices up to 40 dollars a pound!

4
Kek_The_World 4 points ago +4 / -0

I’m sick of seeing this stuff everywhere. The grocery outlet is full of it in the frozen section and they can’t give it away.

2
OrenthalGMudbone 2 points ago +2 / -0

man wouldn't it be crazy if this product was just some WEF/UN/ESG force fed crap on the shelves of your local grocery store that no one wants, and if people picked them up at the store while shopping and accidentally left them on a random shelf somewhere so it spoiled and had to be thrown away? that would be wild, in meatcraft.

2
Kek_The_World 2 points ago +2 / -0

In corporate grocery stores maybe. But grocery outlet is locally owned and I’m not ever going to accidentally hurt them.

johnqpublic864 1 point ago +1 / -0

What's the point? Shit just sits there anyhow.

I'm eating a chicken wing at midnight while reading this and couldn't help but choke a little from a snicker. To think I used to like the meat free craze over 5 years ago. I'm glad I stopped while I did. Farming gets much harder when your bones and muscles start to deteriorate from eating plant based soy meat. When you grow up on a farm, it's easy to be tricked into becoming a vegetarian. You're surrounded by animals, and you have to kill some of them sometimes. It can fuck with your brain.

Quick soybot, open this jar for me. My strength is waning.

I live in a Hispanic area and a few years ago restaurants went big with advertising. Handed out flyers put banners outside the store and about a month later it seemed like it never existed. 😂. Restaurants tried to beat each other for the lib that would spend his tendy monies on it and nobody won at the end

3
DannyNogg556 3 points ago +3 / -0

No one wants to eat that, that shit is nasty!!!

3
ATK69 3 points ago +3 / -0

During the first round of shortages people were willing to go without meat than eat the soylent garbage.

JZSquared 3 points ago +3 / -0

Politicians: "Our investments into meatless products is under threat, we'll have to kill off all the cows and pass legislation to make them illegal."

Fuck Bill Gates and the entire Biden family

2

when a product starts showing up at the discount grocery store in larger and larger amounts, it means it is not selling. Plant based foods and meats have gone from a shelf or two to an entire freezer case lately...they are close to giving it away.

2
independentbystander 2 points ago +2 / -0

WEW LAD

This reminded me that I had some roast beef in the refrigerator (feeling much better now after some snacking <3)

> I'm not going to eat the bugs. I'll eat a Career Politician way before it comes to that.

2
SaltyWife 2 points ago +2 / -0

Will continue buying fresh 1/2 cows locally. Suck it you globalist asshos

3
TruthyBrat 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is on my to-do list.

2
no_gal_friend 2 points ago +2 / -0

Once the plant-based food dies down. The next phase will be bugs-based food.

2
The_One_True_Bob 2 points ago +2 / -0

Don’t be fooled. They have stopped the “Beyond meat” product line. Doesn’t mean they have given up on the idea of “plant-based meats”. It just means they have given up promoting them and will most likely switch out actual meat patties, not tell anyone for a while and then do a big reveal on how they have eliminated all beef products and how their customers “didn’t even notice”.

You mean nobody wants to eat fake meat that tastes like shit? The only people who even bought these were faggot beta males who want to show off how beta they are to their insane blue haired tranny overlords. Once they stopped getting patted on the back for eating garbage they stopped eating it, who would have thought?

1
farfiman 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's way too expensive.

Their stock is still up 10% in the past week and up 30% over last month.

Crazy town.

1
20KAG20 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sounds like a good reason to by some long term puts

0
MyDogBlondi 0 points ago +1 / -1

Ask me how I know how much their stock has risen, off the cuff.

Puts are basically widow makers right now.

1
Josemarti 1 point ago +1 / -0

What's beyond beyond meat?

2
MayorMcSixaplix 2 points ago +2 / -0

Gulags.

1
mailinvoter 1 point ago +1 / -0

Because who would want real meat when you can pay twice as much for fake meat that tastes like vomit?

1
OrenthalGMudbone 1 point ago +1 / -0

Funny thing is the company is still valued over $2bn

A company that has never made a profit. Last year revenue was $465m and they still lost $182m....

which hollywood celebrities will they roll out to market this shit?

Watch for increasing eat bugs yum message in popular culture

1
bugilt 1 point ago +1 / -0

Now they will start just add some into regular meat to get you use to it.

1
user365927285937 1 point ago +1 / -0

No amount of soros funding can convince the masses to give up meat. It will never happen. Because we are made to eat meat.

1
Dialectic 1 point ago +1 / -0

I saw a plant burger for “meat eaters” at an Applebees and got a good laugh
