The ruling class thinks that's entirely okay.

EuphoricTrillby 19 points ago +19 / -0

Why do you need the 4th Amendment?

If you got nothing to hide, just let Merrick Garland rummage through your entire house.

ArbysBeefandCheddar 24 points ago +24 / -0

They can just bankrupt and ruin people that they don't like. It doesn't matter if they're innocent and they can make people turn informants if they don't want to be bullied or dragged through the mud. The IRS has an endless war chest, few Americans can face them in court without being massively outgunned. None of it is constitutional.

MoreTorbaLessKushner 9 points ago +11 / -2

We are slaves to demons that now want to exterminate us.

And they preemptively stole all the resources through fraud.

Taxes are too complicated. Even using a tax software like turbotax, it can still be confusing and at the end you can wonder if everything is really right. Part of the confusion is because they change the rules every year. It's not hard to imagine them putting severe penalties onto people that did the best they could to get it right.

We didn't need more IRS enforcement agents. We needed to simplify the tax system.

2008RonPaul2012 7 points ago +7 / -0

However simple you're thinking, I bet I want it simpler 😉

Fidget 3 points ago +3 / -0

I met him in 2007! Such a nice guy.

And yeah, zero federal income tax.

Bruno 4 points ago +4 / -0

The U.S. has the most complicated tax code in the world. It's ridiculous.

Farage_massage 4 points ago +4 / -0

And HR Block will lobby Congress forever more to keep it that way…

no fear of big govt? i guess he doesnt think very in depth

Jan6Insurrectionist 2 points ago +2 / -0

He's lying.

emet 11 points ago +11 / -0

The idea is to make you constantly produce documents for examination. Then documents ti back up those documents. Then bank statements. Then a bunch of stuff you did not really need to keep.

Again, the process is the punishment. The IRS will turn this information over to states that have income tax, for further investigation.

FDR was the first president to use the IRS to punish political foes. I think his first target was the Pierce Tire Company. IRS determined all was in order. But FDR had made his point.

I have always slightly distrusted the lottery until my father in laws cousin won a huge a one. It was only then that I learned that there is a specific part of the IRS that likes to 'sit on' recent large sum winners. From what I read they go after the winners for everything. In one case I read that a group[ of office workers pitched in on a ticket together and sent someone to go buy it. He came back, made photocopies of the tickets and gave them to all the people who pitched in. They won and split it evenly amongst themselves but it was only the guy who purchased the ticket who had state tax and federal income tax taken out. Everyone else had those taxes and were then taxed again as though the purchaser had shared it as a gift to them.

Moreover they watch the families of winners and if you give too much, they tax that person into oblivion, so no buying Mom and Dad a new house or your sibling a car. You have to keep all of that shit for ourself or the IRS just takes so much that it becomes financially irresponsible to help them. Then everyone in your families and your friends you fully intended on helping hate you for not actually helping them cause you know the IRS is just going to tax the hell out of them and make things worse for them.

PelosiStock 3 points ago +3 / -0

We should all pitch in and win the big one then use every dime to hire an army of mercs to eradicate the IRS. Down to the very last sniveling pencil pusher

ArbysBeefandCheddar 4 points ago +4 / -0

No, he has the right politics so no chance of that.

Uncle_Remus 6 points ago +6 / -0

First of all, I’m not your friend faggot. Second, the income tax and the IRS should be abolished.

Belleoffreedom 6 points ago +6 / -0

He understands. He is a hateful schmuck using this as an opportunity to slander decent people.

Dallasguy 5 points ago +5 / -0

This guy has NEVER been audited. An audit is a financial colonoscopy. They dig through your business, your income, your finances, your taxes, your interactions. You lose business, you miss work.

Businesses can be audited into bankruptcy. Just wait until it starts.

summerbreeze 1 point ago +1 / -0

This. But its not just business owners. I did personal tax auditing for a short time (I quit, too unethical) and the taxpayer bears the burden of proof.

For my training, we sent out letters telling taxpayers, "two years ago you claimed this credit now send proof you were eligible for the credit" . Then the documents they sent were further scrutinized. For example, we would look at the bank statements and then send another letter: "I see some cash deposits on your bank statements from two years ago;explain this.". Who can do that? Most people do not keep paper records for minor deposits. Then we send another letter: "Send us all your bank statements from the last three years".

Eventually the taxpayer has their gross income adjusted, because cash deposits (no matter how small) are considered income unless proven otherwise. And fines and penalties were added because it was from two years ago.

This was a number of years ago, but I can't imagine things have changed much, expect maybe to get worse.

Dallasguy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah. It’s gonna get ugly.

IncredibleMrE1 5 points ago +5 / -0

We all know the government NEVER witch hunts innocent people. Disingenuous faggot.

The process is the punishment.

NdNcenti 4 points ago +4 / -0

It’s doesn’t matter if you’re 100% truthful, the point is they just added extra work force to harass anyone they want. The government has unlimited funding not so with the “little guy” unless you keep 10% for the “big guy”

OKRancher 4 points ago +4 / -0

I plan to be the hunter, not the hunted. Say when.

Five_Star_Amenities 4 points ago +4 / -0

I had a friend who got a tax bill for $0.00. Naturally, he laughed and threw it in the trash. But he kept getting letters for this $0.00 unpaid taxes. And eventually, they threatened to seize his bank accounts to satisfy this unpaid tax debt. He (with great difficulty) talked a convenience store clerk into selling him a money order for $0.00, sent it off to the IRS and never heard from them again.

Greenhills 4 points ago +4 / -0

I’m pretty sure some dumb Jew in 1934 said the same thing when Hitler was staffing up the SS.

I once got a letter from the IRS saying that there was an error on my tax return and that I owed them $2,000. I had to go through the return and point out that they had made an error. They then agreed and I didn’t owe them anything. A lot of people would be intimidated and just pay. A lot of people would just assume they are correct and pay. Who’s to say the IRS will be honest? It’s very frightening getting letters from the IRS. They will try to intimidate all of us.

PelosiStock 1 point ago +1 / -0

Its not frightening if you do your God given legal lawful duty of ignoring them completely. They are fake and gay.. no real power unless you give it to them

keeman 2 points ago +2 / -0

The tax code is so complex that even the IRS enforcers don't know it. And that is the point. If you want a tyranny, make everything illegal and selectively enforce. If you make a tax code so complex that nobody can understand it, then with high confidence everyone is in violation. Then just enforce against your enemies.

texas4ever 2 points ago +2 / -0

If there's a red wave can this be reversed?

Wasn’t it just a few years ago the irs was targeting conservatives? And this fucking clown doesn’t see this as a possible bad sign of where things are going in the current politics climate?

Ace-Hardgroin 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is similar to when windowlicking lemmings say things like “you don’t need privacy if you have nothing to hide.”

Dev404 2 points ago +2 / -0

Adam is a dumb man who will eat bugs when told to. He has no understanding of how the system can throw the book at you with bullshit charges to run out your resources to fight back and bankrupt you that way. Stupid ass people like Adam vote with feelings.

You like government theft that's your issue, pay all you want. A corrupt government doesn't need to fortify itself to a point where they don't understand we're not working for them. They want to get sooo big they own you, asshole. Want government owning you? Like cattle? BTW.. They're trying to kill them too!

FreeThought 1 point ago +5 / -4

The IRS play is Obama era tactics. See Lois Lerner.

I have always wondered why audits are bad to some. If you are audited and you do your taxes honestly you then are free and clear to not give a shit.
