I’ve been called for a while that I should find a new church because of some of the hateful ideologies my current church has adopted over the years. But today during the sermon CRT was preached by name from the pulpit. There is no way I can participate in this congregation any longer. These are lost sheep.

I’ve never had to find a new church. I have no idea how to do it. But I know I must for myself and my children. I’m not sure my wife will join me. This may divide our family.

Make sure to send a letter to your old church... let them know what CRT is - its MARXIST ORIGIN... and totally atheist point of view.

To find a new church - I always look for a Bible Church.

What is a Bible church, exactly? I found one next week and I’ll check it out.

Bullet3250 4 points ago +4 / -0

Preaches the words of Christ - instead of Dogma from all the Christian divisions. Often times they are smaller churches - but the messages taught are powerful.

You may also want to find one of those super large churches - so the kids end up in big groups... some of those churches even have Home Schooling groups that meet routinely...

That’s what my wife did. We used to be Lutheran and then the CRT, gay and tranny shit just got to be too much. My wife goes to a Bible based mega church. I go with her once a month and check out other churches other days. I don’t care for the mega church because they have a rock band and shit like that, but they don’t fly the gay pride flag and preach incessantly about BLM.

Are you referring to the Church of Christ denomination? Or just Good well rounded Christ centered gathering places.

1
Bullet3250 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not the Church of Christ Denomination. Bible churches are mostly non-denominational. Or at least they don't go to great lengths to drive their denomination to the forefront.

-4
Agent_86 -4 points ago +2 / -6

I assume you don't go to a coc gathering place? I'm currently looking for a gathering place. Hopefully non denominational. I am trying to avoid tge hyperfaith crowd so finding a place of worship has been difficult.

So much so that I had stopped looking. But I'm going to give it another shot. Take care.

The Church of Christ is a bible only church.

As to splitting up your family your are the father and husband of your family. Lead your wife and children. Set the example of duty to God through Jesus Christ. Your Duty is to teach your children and wife they are not victims.

CTR is only about victimhood. Marxism: Oppressors and oppressed. Challenge your church leadership to show you where Jesus taught that based on race people must be categorized as such.

And Tell your church leadership to their face that they have lost their way.

You must not let your family confuse your leadership in following the plan of salvation in Christ for stubbedness.

The Sermon on the mount is very instructive.

QUESTION!! Can a person be saved and not be baptized?

QUESTION!! Must I belong to the "Church of Christ" Organization in order to go to heaven?

1
raid 1 point ago +1 / -0

Clearly your are a troll. If you are not Christian why ask?

But for those who find God through Jesus these are very easy to answer.

God has provided you a path to salvation through Christ. God sacrificed for you his son. Baptism is an essential part of following God's plan.

I am non-denotational myself and not a member of The Church of Christ, however my wife and son are and I attend with them from time to time. It is a straight bible following church.

I believe in one true God and his plan for me through Christ. God made us all individuals and with that, I believe it is good there are many ways to worship God the way you see fit.

However, the plan of salvation is in the bible where you can learn it for yourself. And as you grow your relationship with God through Jesus you can easily tell when the ways of the world put themselves before God.

My aim is not to go to heaven, my goal is to be with God both in life, and if I follow his plan, afterwards.

What's your aim?

Agent_86 -6 points ago +1 / -7

I know it's wiki but this is fairly accurate. Baptism is not needed for salvation. Just want to make that point clear junior.

raid 1 point ago +1 / -0

God gave you free will, and I am not a authoritarian control freak. Feel free to go with that. For me, I am following Christ's example doing the best I can and wikipedia is the last place I would look for Christian advise (I don't use wikipedia at all). Beat me over the head with bible verses that say it's not important for the plan of salvation to get baptized, that is fine with me too.

BUT IF YOU ASK ME THE QUESTION THAT IS MY ANSWER ALL THE TIME EVERYTIME.

-5
Agent_86 -5 points ago +1 / -6

You know for some reason your being very defensive. Which means you must think I am going to attack you or throw a shit ton of Bible verses at you.

I understand why you believe this so let me assure you that this is in no way an attack.

I had some questions and got a rude reply. Lol it happens. I sent you a wiki post only because that particular page was actually accurate. I usually never use wiki but I did in this case.

I simply wanted you to know where I was coming from. My over 30 years of experience studying cults and the occult was supposed to lend credence and believability to my reply.

So in a round about obnoxious way you finally answered my question. For this I thank you. Lol it took some doing hehe but ok.

I was never going to blister you with Yeshuas word. It's not how God uses me.

If we agreed to a friendly debate that's one thing but again I was just seeking an answer to 2 questions.

You answered one of them. Ty. It will have to do.

Now You might want to relax a little. When a follower of Yeshua asks a question don't jump to conclusions. You can avoid lot's of arguments that way. C ya.

-6
Agent_86 -6 points ago +1 / -7

Since when is asking a simple doctrinal question deserving of being called a troll? A simple concise answer would have been both mature and welcome.

I've studied the occult and various cults on and off for over 30 years.

Your defensive posture speaks volumes sir.

God uses me in this capacity and so I do His work. Now the Church of Christ teaches that you can not be saved without being baptized.

There are a few, very few offshoots of COC that do not teach this. How else is anyone going to find out for sure unless someone dare ask? Troll indeed.

You best be careful because God walks with me. No I don't deserve it. Hell is what all of us especially me deserve. So I'm not speaking from a pompous position I plainly speak the truth in Yeshua.

Good day.

a place that will disappoint you in the end when you realize how many liberal pos chose a bible church to indulge in their disgusting homosexual tolerance. Find yourself a protestant church that denounces sin and defines our cultures sins in their mission statement such as " What is marriage?" " why is homosexuality a sin" " why abortion is a sin " dont go somewhere that tolerates the jezebel

1
GrayManNumber333 1 point ago +1 / -0

It’s another denomination. I’ve heard reformed baptists calling themselves that. If that’s the case for what you’ve found, I’ve noticed they’re usually more conservative and don’t do the crt and work stuff. They’re tolerable for me and you might like them.

3
arcanum [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Do you have some good links about the Marxist origin of CRT? I’ve heard that but I don’t know how. I’ve read white fragility and some of the other tenets of CRT and all I really know is it’s a hateful ideology that has no place next to Gods word.

I haven’t watched all of his videos but from what I have seen he never mentioned his religious beliefs. He was an academic at Portland State University and became a socio/political commentator once the woke crackdowns began at his school. From what I have seen he has a deep understanding of the post modern/commie thought indoctrination campaign being waged against us.

Did this in college. We had a chapel sermon and the guest preacher told us all soldiers are going to hell... I got up, made everyone else in the row get up to to let me by, and slowly walked out.

By the end of the "sermon" hundreds had left as it built from me to a few to constant exodus.

This is something you can show your wife - https://www.patheos.com/blogs/geneveith/2015/05/how-the-kgb-created-liberation-theology/

Make a list of what you want in a church. Then without worrying about denomination, ask your wife to join you in attending at least 5 of them. Compare what you see, hear, feel, and find at each. How did you feel? Was the sermon all fluff? How are the parishioners? Then ask to speak to one or two of the pastors. Make an appointment with them and bring your criteria and your questions.

Then pray about it

1
QEBL486 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why do you need a “church” to go to?

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them” (Matthew 18:20)

You don’t need a “church”, you have the Bible, study it and worship God in your own way with your own people.

Just a thought if you can’t find a church to go to

1
TrappedRed_in_blue 1 point ago +1 / -0

Christians do still need amd benefit greatly from group fellowship with other Christians. We were never meant to be alone and isolated.

1
QEBL486 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don’t disagree with that at all. But it doesn’t have to be a “church” to have fellowship and worship. That can be done with another individual close to you or your family and friends. My friend who lives 400 miles away joins me in discussion via text or phone call about scriptures, evangelization, and worship on a weekly basis. We have spiritual conversations at least once a week.

When he and I talk about God and Jesus’s teachings, thats my “church”. I don’t need to go to a physical place and follow the rules of man to fulfill my worship of God and his commandments in scripture.

God has given us all the instructions we need in life through his word that is written in scripture. As long as we have at least one other person to talk about those things then we are golden.

1
TrappedRed_in_blue 1 point ago +1 / -0

No, church doesn't have to be in a formal building and I agree with what you said.

Sometimes I read posts where people are all "Just go on by yourself! No one needs other people!"

And that's just wrong and not true.

2

PCUSA. It was already clucked, but CRT in the pulpit is beyond the pale.

1
klunniclowns2 1 point ago +1 / -0

Pray as you seek a community of like minded believers in Christ Jesus Messiah. So many who claim Christ are lost and totally blinded.

We are living in a time of Ezekiel 34 and Romans 1. Perilous times no doubt. Read the letters by Paul. Romans - Philemon. They're like a spiritual map for our times.

If you can find a church that is not bound by the tax exempt status you'll have found a rare place of worship.

1
YT45 1 point ago +3 / -2

It’s about the church itself and the people in it, not the denomination. I’m a Catholic in a based parish with a based priest. There are good Catholic parishes and bad ones out there (more good than bad, but still). My wife is Protestant Evangelical. Her church is based with a based pastor whom I get along with pretty well. There are good and bad examples of every Protestant denomination out there too (even some Baptists have sold out). Same for Orthodox.

Both my priest and her pastor preach from the Scripture and don’t give a rat’s ass about the popularity of “current thing.” We wouldn’t be going to either church otherwise. Vet your church. It’s sad to say, but it’s necessary, and it pays off in the long run. At the same time, pray for those still in a sellout church. May they either leave and go somewhere better, or find a way to fix their church and return it to the fold.

Did you not like my response so you downvoted instead of having a discussion? A pope is not infallible, he is human, he is a man. Nowhere in the bible does it say a MAN, or a human, can be infallible!

I was born and raised a Catholic, I know what the church teaches and a lot of it is a bunch of man made rituals and rules that have nothing to do with what God commands of us. Christ never said his disciples couldn’t take a spouse. So why does the church forbid priests and nuns from taking a spouse? Its because it is a man made rule to be able to control its clergy. Just like papal infallibility is a man made concept to say not to question the actions of the pope. It is an ancient rule that is very similar to the rules of the mormon church to never question the “prophet”.

Nowhere in Gods scriptures does it say that anything the Mormons believe is true, just as the same with infallibility with any human nor to trust any man on earth with the intentions of what he says!

I stand by my original conviction that the pope is not infallible, in fact, the current pope is completely opposite of that. He is a COWARD, he is not worthy of the title of pope, or holy father. He gave communion to a murderer and his actions resulted in the torture of his brethren all under the military junta in Argentina in the 1970’s when he was the head of the Jesuits in Argentina at the time. Jorge Bergoglio should have NEVER been elevated to bishop, archbishop, or cardinal.

A Godly man who did what Bergoglio did would send himself to a life hood in the monastery to pray for forgiveness from the Holy Father. He wouldn’t seek to elevate himself like Jorge Bergoglio did and someday become pope. He is a disgrace to Christianity and the Catholic church because he spent a lot of time and energy in evading and ignoring his past. It took the threat of lawsuits and imprisonment for him to talk.

A true Christian worthy of the papacy would have come clean right away. He didnt. He is the antipope. His elevation to the papacy is the work of Satan. When pope Francis was elected is when I knew that Satan had most definitely infiltrated the church. Well it was when Benedict, a nazi youth, was elected is when I knew the Devil was alive and well in the church. The last good pope we had was John Paul II. After that, the devil took over.

Peace be with you brother. I hope that you can be close to God and his word through the scriptures. I am not advocating you to leave the church. I am just advocating that you seek the truth and live Gods word in your daily life. Amen?

Ask your priest what his opinion/thoughts/beliefs are on papal infallibility. Anything other than “the pope is a man and a human and is not infallible” means that he is not a based priest.
