Deep behind enemy lines. Seattle and Portland make San Francisco seem like middle America.

Slickrick941 56 points ago +56 / -0

In Portland right now for work. First time here. Everything you imagine portland is like is true. The city reeks of human feces and urine as the liberal establishment coddles the homeless and the vagrants for the sake of winning woke points. Overt drug use everywhere and government provided Needles litter the streets. There is no law here. Businesses hire private security details to guard the storefronts, and they do more to combat the homeless than police but still barely make a difference.

‘Member CHAZ?

REDPILLEDBYALEXJONES 8 points ago +9 / -1

I worked in Seattle during the whole Chaz deal. I was a delivery driver for a bakery and my route was capitol hill right where they took over six blocks. They had the street blocked off so I couldn't take my usual route and when I drove by their barricades a lefty wearing a huge blanket around himself showed me a AK 47 he was wearing on his chest...funny they want to ban guns but attempted to "defend" themselves with them. I can vouche for how insane seattle liberals are. I thought I was liberal when I moved here but I've been very much red pilled by everything I've seen. The mask nazis were the fuckin worst! They still are...

8
stratocaster_patriot 8 points ago +8 / -0

Don't forget they also immediately started putting up walls and concrete barriers to guard with those "assault rifles".

8
Pissed_American 8 points ago +8 / -0

I predicted the CHAZ very accurately only a couple months prior to it actually becoming an autonomous zone. Not in Seattle specifically, but I did call the exact scenario to my old boss. When I told him to prepare for certain cities and maybe even states to basically secede and not participate anymore with the rest of the nation and disregard the laws. He told me "you're crazy". I didn't stick around at that job much longer after that. I put in my two weeks right after fentanyl Floyd died. I bet the old SOB was wondering how I knew that.

6
stratocaster_patriot 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yep. Huge Christian revival up there last summer. It was protested by Satanists of course. Many people were baptized. No covid protocols followed. The charismatics up here are resisting the government and proving there is nothing the government can do to us if we simply stand up and refuse to follow their unlawful rules.

You must be in downtown Portland. Believe it or not it uses to be beautiful. The fast forward to what is now started right after Trump came down the escalator and has only gotten much worse since. I grew up in the outer se Portland area and finally had enough and moved about 30ish miles south. I saw the writing on the wall. The last 2 years in my old once nice quiet neighborhood, I started seeing tweekers and the occasional wannabe gang bangers to hearing gunshots about a block or 2 away. I put my house up for sale in September of 2012 and sold in late October and I bought my place I have now. My only regret was I didn't do it sooner. Portland used to be pretty great not so long ago.

4
stratocaster_patriot 4 points ago +4 / -0

This region has always been and still is beautiful. This is despite us who live here. The people here have always been horrible. Just look at what the anarchists and socialists were doing to the Chinese after the railroads were complete. The difference today is that California and all their Mexican gardening staff moved up here starting in late 1990's and it's just made it worse.

2
Goospeed77 2 points ago +2 / -0

Actually the Mexican part was in the late 70s though the 80s. All 3 of my sister's (2 older and 1 younger than me) married Mexicans. All 3 are good guys. But out in the areas of outer se Portland more Rockwood and east up through Sandy was were most of the Mexican migrants were because agricultural reasons. There's a tree farm that's been there for ever that called Porters nursery. My oldest sisters now ex worked there up till about 10yrs ago when he finally retired and went back to Mexico. All 7 of his bothers did the same. The oldest 3 of them came here in 79 along with 2 cousins to work the farms. You go up through the Yakima Valley you'll find a heavy Mexican presence since since the mid to late 50s where they were following the fruit and other produce with the seasons but ended up settling around the regions. These people were all pretty decent people and come from a pretty conservative mindset. Funny side note... My dad was their go to mechanic for literally hundreds of them from the early 80s and up. By 85 he had to go rent a shop because there were soo many that would show up and knock on the door of our house and ask for mechanico Cliff and would point at his truck. They loved his truck. It was then and still is a very popular truck style (72 f250 4x4 that was a really nice mildly customized truck like they had in Mexico and would work those trucks hard.) in the now older Mexican community. Sunday was their only day off and would start to come by about 8am. But I do remember very vividly living/growing up in the Rockwood/Gresham area, I was 13yo in 89 and by around 92 and on there was a massive influx of shit that flowed in from California. By about 96 the gang banger had arrived and shootings and such started happening and it was both Mexican and blacks in the area with more being Mexican. The people that my dad worked on their cars would talk about it and say that theses peices of shit make us look bad. Then more southern California's best came again around 99-02 and had slowly kept trickling in then by 06 it went full steam with every walk of life. Alot were because of records and it was cheaper and the welfare system. At that same time from 2k- 2012 is when the influx of the super Cali, Seattle and East coast libs were coming here like a super migration opening up these expensive boutiques, coffee shops etc. So basically things started by the mid 90s as you said. Same can be said about the Yakima Valley as well. The ones that work their asses off aren't the ones to be upset about, it's the drug dealers gangs, liberal dems and the leaches that want their free shit and those same mindset libs that have allowed this to happen are the ones that need to be removed. They are all very easy to spot! This is all by plan.

1
stratocaster_patriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Interesting to see that the same thing happened east of the mountains. It stands to reason but we over here tend not to think about that region (because we're elitist assholes) and don't hear a lot about what goes on. I know back in the 80's there were places where ethnicity was greater (not in Seattle though) and people tended to get along. In my suburb we had a few minorities and nobody messed with them and they didn't mess with people and destroy our neighborhoods.

You know what's interesting to me as a young stupid progressive back in the 80's; they called all this progress and they still do. Unbelievable.

As far as the Chinese, I'm not so sure about that. Yes there was some bad things that went down but let's not forget the Shanghai tunnel that we're not only in downtown Portland but up and down the west coast that really was no different than the slave trades. The Chinese were just looking g for work back when the train lines were being built. I know that there's far more to the true story than what we've been told. I know that the Chinese were here long before by about 10k years and there is plenty of proof to that as even native Americans and old northern Mexico (California and its surrounding states) can attest to. I mean they tell us that San Francisco was nothing but mostly shanties and wood buildings from the gold rush and all pretty much burned down from the 1906 earthquake. That's a big fat bullshit lie as with " the night that Chicago burned down as both cities had these giant beautiful buildings that can be found exactly the same all over the world! These buildings are much older than we are told. There is tons of documentation on this with photos from the 1840s and up with some even earlier. You can find all of this on odysee.com by looking up antiquatech or mud floods. Also, have you ever heard about the orphan trains? It's all linked. History is bs as we've been told. His-story.... imagine everywhere had a long established free energy and Tesla knew it and tried to give it back to the people but as with today he was stopped. He even had an EV that ran off the eather with nothing more than an antenna type rod.

2
stratocaster_patriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

I will look into those things you mentioned (I know about the tunnels and white slavery). But it is true that the Chinese often ended up in Portland and SF because labor unions in WA burned down their housing and put them on boats. Here is an example

Seattle is a perfect example of how fast shit goes down hill.

I first moved up there (Army) from Los Angeles in 2004. It felt amazing, my first taste of a "free" state. Sure Seattle and the coast cities was super liberal, but the state itself was (is?) overwhelmingly red. They were lovey dovey hippies, but legislation was still pretty hands off - espescially for 2A.

Fast forward to 2017, I've been out of the military and out of WA for several years, I've convinced my wife to move there - "its an amazing place!" I told her for years. Little did I know that in the decade I was gone it went down hill shockingly fast. Now even the rural areas an hour or more away from the cities you had rampant drugs, the homeless, and the crimes they bring with them. Liberal ideology became more aggressive and prevailing and the attack on your freedoms and rights were right on the heels of California.

Less than 10 years and it went from a place I could be proud of and retire at, to place I wouldnt dare raise my children in.

9
telan 9 points ago +9 / -0

I feel your pain. My best friend lived there until...Jesus, 2013? I think? And when we went to see him, it wasn't that bad. It looked like a ghetto but it didn't seem unsafe at the time. We went to the needle and all that crap. No big deal.

I wouldn't go there now without being armed to a stupid degree and ready to die.

1
SWAGLORDX1776 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yep.

My mom came to visit us and I took her to the needle. I was CCW and they wouldn't let me in, so I opted to just sit outside rather than stow my firearm or not take it.

This happened like a week later.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzqOWGMJR5E

Right before we left we had more family visit us to capitalize on seeing the state while crashing with us - this crazy shooting happened like the day before we went at the westlake station.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2vfuNypwMY

These are the nice / upscale parts of the city, the touristy ones - and even those are ruined.

Just nuts. In 2009 like any big city, you could find trouble if you were looking for it, but it wasn't oppressive. Now trying to live a normal life there seems impossible.

It is sad because WA really is in my opinion one of the nicest places of natural beauty on Earth.

the drug addicts aren't from here (Seattle). they're from rural places and places that have no mental health services. their families put them on buses here.

ask a cop or social worker. none of these people have last known addresses in King County. expired IDs from Montana, Idaho, southern Alaska, eastern Oregon.

5
RabidZoo 5 points ago +5 / -0

Lol...my fren...if you've ever heard of Kensington Avenue(look it up...then you know what the shithole of the east looks like). I lived close enough. I understand the problems, pain, destitution, and crime. Far away now. But that place isn't some cakewalk. I lived and thrived in the hood until I was broken free. And it was a total culture shock leaving. Life can be hard. But it also shows resolve and determination.

7
realPhantomFuck 7 points ago +7 / -0

Ehhh, I've been through all three cities a decent amount of times

Portland is the worst

San Francisco at least keeps their "touristy" areas clean

Seattle keeps their insanity in rather localized areas (besides for the tent cities that literally line every off ramp lol)

3
TommyJarvis 3 points ago +3 / -0

I was in SF for work about 4 years ago and was a block or so away from the baseball stadium. There were addicts laying across the sidewalk DT-ing and needles and shit on the sidewalks and people using drugs openly in broad daylight. It was big time tourist area and total shit.

2
stratocaster_patriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's because the liberal voters who keep the policies in place to encourage the bad behaviors don't want the bad behaviors in their newly gentrified neighborhoods and ruining their ridiculously exploding home values so homeless are kept in localized areas.

Thank you. Most of us get dumped on here for not running away to a red state and homesteading or something lol. I find that twisted and sick but it's common. This place belongs to us and we will see it restored, not run away. Of all places on earth right now this area has a lot of Christian revival going on. Former CHAZ area just had a huge revival gathering. I just started going to a growing charismatic church that has, as of last month, opened yet another campus in the city of Seattle (at UW campus) and will have a kindergarten and pre-school by this fall, with an elementary school to follow in 2023. The one I go to is in a small town but packed parking for 5 straight hours on Sunday as people from the region from the region flock there. I'm looking to Christ to restore my home, not looking to run away. Revival is happening because we didn't run away and leaders from elsewhere (usually the south US) established churches up here in our time of need. Many say that God called them here specifically because we are suffering in darkness.

I started doing local high school sports to satisfy my sports cravings. Pretty exciting actually. Low cost, easy parking. For some reason I really just love cheering on kids who play for love of the sport versus rich privileged guys who beat their wives and drive drunk but are looked at like heroes. It's like I really want those people on the court to do well in life and I'm truly cheering for them, not so much the sport itself. I'm celebrating young life and healthy bodies and dedication. Not BLM.

Cool, these people are probably from puyallup, bremerton, everett or further out. The people of skeezattle proper are short white-haired old leftist women who elect socialist city council from foreign countries. they cuck out to black drug dealers because their mostly all women city government are organized crime. that being said the regions around Seattle are based and conservative, just overrun with the leftist's homeless drug fiends they sell drugs to.

1

2
Ctor 2 points ago +2 / -0

Imo the mariners should all take a hit to their pay if they block traffic and dont win. Its the curse of the kingdome. They havent done that great ever since they blew it up, took about 700 million from the tax payers after being told no three times (wa dems declared an emergency to levy the taxes), and had a fancy brand new stadium built. Then they have had the nerve to ask for more funding for renovations and expansions to said stadium... Bunch of pretentious entitled jerks who want massive rewards for participation. Maybe try actually winning if you want all this stuff?
