In FL, the R party had a lawyer on call for all early voting & Election Day.

If any of us saw some shit, which I def did, we could call the lawyer & they showed up & fixed the cheating issue that was going on.

Me too, the reality is things are rigged so bad in many cases it cannot be stopped unless we rig things ourselves. We need people in every state, every major city working at these polls and doing the right thing on election day.

2

How will I be able to identify whose on our side tho? I'm worried that they will just pretend to be us during the proceedings.

This and the precinct project

DONE and already worked the Primary in May. I'll be back for the Nov mid-term for sure. Look up your county's board of elections and if there isn't an online signup form, give them a call.

4
realPhantomFuck 4 points ago +4 / -0

Awesome!

Can you give me a quick rundown on what it's like being a poll worker?

1
BrianDamage 1 point ago +1 / -0

They gave us a short training session on the Saturday prior, mainly on how to use the laptops to look up people to make sure they were eligible to vote (and hadn't already voted) for that precinct. Then on election day I was one of the people that looked up people's names in the computer and printed off an authorization form, which they had to read and sign and go to another table to get a paper ballot. It was a paid position (I didn't even know that until I was called up to come in and register) and I got paid a little over $150 for the short training and the long election day. I'd have done it for free. I didn't get to count the ballots, I haven't figured out who exactly does that yet but I'm fairly confident that there are enough honest people working this that the opportunity for shenanigans is close to zero.

2
You-Aint-Black 2 points ago +2 / -0

Did they let you in the counting room, or were you just at the polling location?

1
BrianDamage 1 point ago +1 / -0

Just at the polling location - but this was my first day of doing this. I'll stick around long enough and figure out where that happens. I get a vibe that everything is by the book and above board here though.

FYI, in many states, the Republican party sends the elections admin a list of their poll workers.

In order for you to legitimately be considered a Republican poll worker, which nearly guarantees you a spot in a Democrat city, you must sign up as a poll worker with your state's Republican party.

This is additionally helpful because if the Republican party vouches that you are a Republican, then you have no duty to tell anyone that you are a Republican when you go work at the polls. You can just work hard, ask questions, and keep a watchful eye.

Ballot Board Election Judges

get paid to accept or reject mail in ballots based on signature and other requirements.

Step 1.

Contact your local Republican Party. Ideally, attend a meeting. They will have forms for you to officially sign up to be an Election Judge. Ask to be on a Ballot Board. Most States require that you sign up through a political party in order to be an Election Judge. You will need to find out how your state hires Election Judges. Ask questions. Each state is different. Once your local party sends your name to the state, you will likely get hired.

Your local party is likely based on your senate or congressional district. You can find this by looking up who your representatives are. Many GOP districts (once you have the number you are in) will have their own websites or facebook page.

Step 2.

Sign up with your city, county, and state to be an Election Judge. Do all three.

Step 3.

Contact your State Republican Party.

They will have a website.

Ask them how you can become a Ballot Board Election Judge in your state.

Step 4.

Contact your State Commission of Elections.

They will have a website.

Ask them how you can become a Ballot Board Election Judge.

They will likely have a form to fill out. Do not rely on this alone. Contact your local GOP because your name will fall through the cracks.

Step 5.

Contact Tea Party Patriots and sign up on their Nation Wide Ballot Board List. The Tea Party helped build Virginia where Youngkin won.

https://tpp.me/3PMhVaH

Step 6.

Sign up with the Precinct Strategy to network with other people from your state doing the same thing as you.

b) Try anyhow

Well, that’s the spirit!

Pretty low energy if you ask me. It’s really not hard to do & it’s the least you can do to try & help your country.

0
basshead 0 points ago +1 / -1

I still plan “to vote” (see: insert sheet into totally not rigged counting machine) mostly because it takes maybe 5 mins total at my local precinct.

Is it insane to think it’ll actually change something? Of course. That’s proven now. It’s a moot point, slave-tier action. But hey, at least I get a good boy “I voted!” sticker. Would it be more accurate for that sticker to just say “I’m retarded!”? Yes.

2

There were videos about people like that in 2020. They went with affidavits, declared in front of a judge about the cheating in the election offices, annnnnnd nothing was done.

5
You-Aint-Black 5 points ago +5 / -0

Which is better, poll worker or election judge? I believe poll workers work for the city, while election judges are volunteers for the republican party. I assume they wouldn't just let any random poll worker actually count the ballots, so maybe being an election judge would be easier to get into the counting room?

3
altaG12 3 points ago +3 / -0

Poll workers are those folks who sign you in and confirm your ID when you go vote at the polling location. Election judges are in charge of the polling location. They open the voting location, ensure voting machines are set up, etc. they also close the polls at the end of the day and deliver the locked boxes of ballots to the central counting station to be counted.

I think it would be a good idea to schedule a series of AMA about voting for any willing election judges on this site. The election judges could answer questions and clear up misconceptions about what happens in the process.

deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
2
altaG12 2 points ago +2 / -0

The poll workers are the election clerks and judges working at each polling location.

Those who, like Ruby Clark, responsible for counting/scanning ballots on election night are central count workers and work at the election warehouse. They go through different additional training.

You can apply for these positions at your local county elections office and do coordinate with your local GOP as well.

Coordination w/ your local GOP office important because the RNC has been conducting poll worker training in preparation for the midterms at local GOP offices for the past few months. During this training, they provide you with additional information and legal resources to use when encountering election fraud. Goal is to for recruitment and to ensure you are prepared for your role's responsibility.

I did it here in NYC, only had to take one 4 hour class. My first day of work is August 23 for the primaries here I will be a republican poll watcher at the BMD (ballot marking device) machine. Thank you to the people on this site for getting me to do something, besides being a jerk in the comment section here sometimes. EDIT: I am not vaccinated, they never asked and do not care. I guess they really need people.

I'm going to the polls with a pickup truck, a bullhorn, a bunch of cameras and batteries, and enough food and water to stay open to close. I'll be on the truck bed shouting down commies all day. Harassment? No, just spewing straight facts. FACTS!

1
mikethemarine 1 point ago +2 / -1

NOTE* You do not need to be officially registered with a party to affiliate. Indicating your party affiliation below has no bearing on your 'registered' political preference (e.g. by selecting Republican you will not become a 'registered' Republican).

And this is how they rig the system, Dems register as republicans and they get all dems in the positions, cause the local clerks already know who they want running them, see it in my county all the time

3
deleted 3 points ago +3 / -0

All poll workers take an oath that they will be neutral when working or they can be told to leave or face worse. It’s rare someone does this.

Yup we believe to much in oaths anymore The FBI and every government agency takes an oath to, that is how they are playing us, we play by the rules, and they have NONE

1
Thewickersnipper 1 point ago +1 / -0

Even better, we do the same, register as democrat. I’m going to try.

1
Krork 1 point ago +1 / -0

rule nr1 : DONT LET THEM KICK YOU OUT !! they will try again , and im afraid that same as last time, GOP poll watchers will be just screaming : you cant do that , but still let them be pushed out.

Need to contact GOP in your state to have Lawyers on Standby. They can then come out and address the fuckery. Sherrifs and deputies of the right political leaning, or atleast impartial are also good to get in touch with. I flat out don't trust metro police.

-3
Moominz0 -3 points ago +1 / -4

The left has taught me two things, elections don't do shit but violence works wonders.

-6
EricTX -6 points ago +1 / -7

Sorry, but this will not save the country. The people are the problem. When they keep voting for the same swamp republicans that have done nothing for 30 years, it is not the politicians, but the people who are morally corrupt.

-8
HeatherSwanson -8 points ago +1 / -9

Why? So you can be escorted out by an armed police officer during the "counting" while they cover the windows with card board?

This is what they've done and will do again. Wake up, simps!

1
Getthetorches 1 point ago +2 / -1

People with your viewpoint are the simps. You need to wake up and stop crying in the corner.

0
HeatherSwanson 0 points ago +1 / -1

Let me repeat the question again. What are you going to do when an armed police escorts you, a poll monitor, out of the counting room during the election?

1
Getthetorches 1 point ago +1 / -0

Your a coward. That's my answer. Stay home and hide its safe for you there now.

0
HeatherSwanson 0 points ago +1 / -1

Ahhhh. Spoken like a true FBI. You're not a simp. You're a glowie.

Say hi to Wray for me, glowie
