4
Uh-hickabuh 4 points ago +4 / -0

Can you link to something that says thrice at one point meant "quickly"? I can't find that. Just trying to learn, not be confrontational. Thrice as far as I can see means "triple" and in archaic definition it meant "extremely". Could not find anything about it ever synonymous with the word quickly.

4
Thelongrun 4 points ago +4 / -0

Nice catch, fren.

Whoops on me.

'Trice' is the right word, not 'thrice', 'thrice' means three times in a row.

'Trice' means speedily. Thanks for brushing up my vocab.

This type of exploit isn't new or revolutionary.

If a machine can load code into RAM then data can be manipulated before being recorded to a database or storage device. i.e. All machines.

The issue at hand with using electronic voting systems is two-fold.

  • by design these systems add a layer of technical obscurity to the counting process which prohibits a general layperson from detecting and identifying fraud when it happens.

  • electronic voting systems make it possible to rig elections across an entire state quickly with minimal visibility by adjudication (feature), by compromising central tabulators, by uploading compromised firmware, or by 0day exploit to individual machines. There are endless ways to accomplish this.

Your average person would not know malicious code if it was right in front of them. Even experienced programmers might not detect something if the code was split up, obfuscated well, or was designed to only run in RAM and not leave traces behind after execution of all command functions.

Compare this to the manpower required to rig an election with paper ballots. It becomes infinitely more complex with higher risk for a group to try and rig an election solely using paper ballots for live voting presuming that all absentee ballots are counted before live voting commences on election day.

I'll just leave this link here and quote a small section from the full comment

https://scored.co/c/Conspiracies/p/15JAOPx6QP/x/c/4OcPJONJ1TJ?d=50

You can not trust electronic voting machines period. The incentives are far too high to compromise them. If not by partisans in county elections, then by the SOS, by the vendors themselves, by employees of the vendors, or by other outside interests including nation states and organizations operating in the shadows including private interests as well domestic intel agencies.

You also can not trust the machines not to be networked and connected to the internet either on purpose or by the vendor including modems.

Most people do not understand how deep this fraud goes and what is now made possible by these electronic machines.

It used to be that the fraud was simply contained to the large metropolitan areas. That is no longer the case.

Not only do you have to worry about elections being rigged in large metropolitan centers, but you also have to worry about machines in rural Republican counties being compromised remotely or by the vendor to shave off several points from the Republican candidate which will not be detected unless a hand recount is triggered. Shave off enough points from all the rural counties and it reduces the amount of fraud required in the metropolitan areas to get the corrupt Democrat elected as Governor, AG, SOS, or to congress.

7
phibetared 7 points ago +7 / -0

The last paragraph appears to have happened in the 2020 Trump election. Dominion bumped Biden's vote up about 3 percent - even in rural hard-core Trump counties. Nobody will notice or care about such a small bump. But when you look across all the counties, you see the bump pretty much everywhere Dominion was used - and definitely in swing states

Start at the 10 minute mark in this video: https://rumble.com/vbz2ld-2020-election-shows-joe-biden-over-performs-in-72-of-counties-using-dominio.html

6
ChilledCovfefe 6 points ago +6 / -0

The machines also introduce mechanical vectors for cheating like using the alignment of the ballot or wrong pen ink to cause a vote to be rejected or flipped. Machines should not be part of ANY of the voting process ever!!

Votes should be counted by volunteers at the precinct level, allowing any witnesses to watch in person. This way, you would have to have a LOT of cheaters across many precincts to swing any votes. This is a little more work but it is a very necessary process change that needs to happen in every state.

Islam and inbreeding are the one-two punch against critical thinking.

0
KrellKrypto 0 points ago +2 / -2

I don’t know if I agree with that. The early Islamic world was leagues ahead in math and science.

Perhaps you hit the nail in the head with inbreeding, took a while for the effects to manifest

9
basedfloridian 9 points ago +9 / -0

The early Islamic world was leagues ahead in math and science.

You mean the early Islamic world that kept down Europe, Persia, and India with perpetual raiding, pillaging, raping, and enslavement while claiming discoveries of the captured peoples' scientists as their own?

-1
KrellKrypto -1 points ago +1 / -2

Sounds like what happened with america and the rocket program…..

1
basedfloridian 1 point ago +1 / -0

How?

1
KrellKrypto 1 point ago +2 / -1

We raided and pillage Europe through the global Jewish cabal and then stole the scientists from nazi Germany.

Seems pretty parallel to me

7
PM_ME_UR_VIVOZ 7 points ago +7 / -0

The "early Islamic world" was a hodgepodge of Islamic warlords ruling over recently conquered Romans, Greeks, and Persians. The conquered people were the masters of math and science. As conversion took hold and everyone became muslim to avoid being raped, murdered, taxed to death, etc., that hold on math and science collapsed.

The idea that Islam was some bringer of math and science is pants on fire stupid. The region itself wasn't "leagues ahead," either. The Roman Empire was.

1
KrellKrypto 1 point ago +1 / -0

i dont understand.

so the middle east is no longer the middle east when they are roman? we are playing a semantic game, nothing more.

3
PM_ME_UR_VIVOZ 3 points ago +3 / -0

You claimed Islam brought the region to the height of math and science. It was already at the height of math and science due to the efforts of those who lived there already, and immediately went in to decline post-Islam. The middle east was split between Romans and Persians at the time of the Islamic conquest.

2

You definitely shouldn't research USB sticks that can flip a voting machine. That would be bad. Don't be bad. I mean you shouldn't even be able to stick a USB stick into a voting machine (windows 7 box). It's like 2 clicks to turn that off? 3 clicks to remove that functionality completely. Why Didn't they? Thinking about that is bad. Don't be bad, mmmkay. I'm totally not ever going to do that. I'm extra totally double extra not ever going think about how easy it would be to write a script to mod a db value on an unsecured windows box. That would be really bad.

Voting machines should have epoxy putty stuffed into their excess USB and other ports, and have only one port on the machine for servicing and it should be inaccessible behind a locked security plate. I think the machine should have only ONE USB port and ONE ethernet port available, and both should be unused and unconnected at the time of use. No voting machines should have any wifi, cellular or bluetooth whatsoever, and if they do, the physical chip for it should be removed or cut / disabled somehow in situ (hardware disabled such as by a jumper...remember these!!?) During certification, a bright, ultrahigh resolution image of the motherboard should be captured, in order to verify chips are removed, or jumper-disabled.

Things would be very g d different if I were in charge of the IT behind the voting machines. They would be custom built motherboards using only made in usa chips, they wouldn't have excess ports or 'options', they'd be open hardware and security auditable; firmware would be open; and the software would be open source. I'd probably use a custom qubes install or alpine linux and the whole thing would be locked down as fuck; but the image for it open source and auditable; and posted to gitlab

1
krzyzowiec 1 point ago +1 / -0

Exactly right. These types of exploits are not hard to stop using signed images on a locked down machine (ideally not running Windows or Android), but they don’t even take basic precautions.

We know why.

35
RandoMcNando 35 points ago +36 / -1

Exactly, it's a feature

28
Diana 28 points ago +28 / -0

Mike Lindell was on War Room and brought up an obvious point when it was taking so long to count votes in the Kari Lake victory. He said something to the effect of "Wait a minute. Aren't these machines being used in order to spit out election results quicker than hand counting?"

If they're not doing that and instead delaying the vote count, why else are they being used? I think we all know the answer to that.

7
ghost_of_aswartz 7 points ago +7 / -0

Very good point

24
MythArcana 24 points ago +24 / -0

Funny how these "hacks" always favor democrats. Every single time. I hear no cries of voter suppression coming from the left when this happens.

5
Edial 5 points ago +5 / -0

It's no different to how surveillance cameras just so happen to always conveniently "malfunction" whenever their observations would be incredibly damning to Democrats.

4
MythArcana 4 points ago +4 / -0

Let's not forget the water lines and power grid. Funny how these events always benefit the criminals. 🤔

22
Gallemore 22 points ago +22 / -0

Of course this is what was happening. All of the brain dead people can say that an audit was conducted, but the audits won't work because we only scan the image that was saved. It is impossible to find the original ballots to compare so it's a lost fight already. We have to take our country back somehow.

12
tired-of-crap 12 points ago +12 / -0

That is why you INSIST your law is like Florida. Voter Marked Paper Ballots, with that ballot the ORIGINAL and only official record of your vote.

This means that if the machines differ AT ALL from the original marked ballots, it is always the marked ballots that control.

While we have electronic counting machines at the polls, and at the central location for mail in ballots, these machines are ONLY for speed. Once the election is over, unless there has already been a manual recount in a race, a race is randomly chosen and hand counted to ensure the machines are working. If there is a difference, then we move on to count the other races, and of course the hand count always controls and is is very likely will be caught.

When a poll voted ballot has an issue, the machine kicks it back for correction by the voter. When a vote by mail has an issue, at a public meeting, teams of D's and R's mark an exact duplicate, with a serial number. The original ballot is then placed in an envelope with that same serial number. If the team cannot agree on the voter intent, it is passed up to the Canvassing Board which is the Supervisor of Elections, a County Judge and a County Commissioner for final determination.

Not being able to find your ORIGINAL ballot is WRONG.

1
Whoopies_tds 1 point ago +2 / -1

2
Gallemore 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is literally about a simulated attack. They found a vulnerability. They didn't discover it being done. Finding those vulnerabilities are extremely important for obvious reasons. But Jim Hoft just did his best Jim Hoft impression.

We all know that this exploit has been used or was planned on being used. But some college kids running a test of an exploit isn't evidence that it has been done.

8
DonJr2024 8 points ago +8 / -0

Holy crap, I scanned every comment to see if anyone even read the "article". The only video I saw was basically a concept of how you can move parts of a scanned image. Lol ok?

Even the mod who pinned it didn't read the fucking thing. Nobody did. And not they are gonna run around talking about this new way the election was rigged. I purposely don't watch videos.

Gateway pundit is a fucking joke. I deleted my account here about 6 months ago. I am already remembering why.

5
DonJr2024 5 points ago +5 / -0

I come here to know who is who and for the 2-3% of posts that are actually real news of some kind.

The rest I try to treat as entertainment, but it really is sad. We should be focused on everything possible to fix the ~6 swing states where the election was stolen most clearly. Instead, half the posts are about trannies and the mejority of what's left is garbage like this.

4

3

2
CrackerJack2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes,
all energy should be focused on the 6 or so states that seemed stolen. But this GWP article is very important, as it shows people who successfully hacked the current computer scanning systems almost a year before the Nov. 2020 election.
Let that sink in, if you we're less than honest, and had a candidate hiding in his basement, who is becoming more and more dementia laden monthly, wouldn't you chance it and implement this hack, or a similar hack? There's no evidence left if anyone even incmvestigated this hack.

1
DonJr2024 1 point ago +1 / -0

Where does it show that? There is like a gif of a concept. That's all I saw. And the concept was that you can move pixels on an image file. There is no evidence that I saw.

1
CrackerJack2 1 point ago +1 / -0

These grad. students of J. Alex Halderman at the U. of Michigan claimed they successfully hacked all or almost all of the scanners prior to 2020.

They wrote an article about how they did it, about a year BEFORE the 2020 elections.
Do you think the democRATs, or some of their agents wouldn't think about implementing this?
Of course they thought of it, and may have successfully implemented it.
See my discussion of security seals MISSING and/or broken on Georgia recount DOMINION scanners in this same post.

3
ghost_of_aswartz 3 points ago +3 / -0

There was no 'video' on the gateway pundit page as far as I could tell (or youtube-dl either)

There was an animated gif that was not at all self-explanatory. It had little context and was weaksauce.

I think Jim Hoft kind of dropped the ball on this and made a clickbaity insufficient headline gotcha article

7
ThunderInYourHeart 7 points ago +7 / -0

That was my thought when reading. I came into the comments expecting to see more commentary about how this article was written. It wasn’t really clear about the context of this discovery. A couple of students found one way that votes can be manipulated, but no proof that it happened this way.

5
80960KA 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah this is like a basic machine vision task, I've done more complex video dissection stuff just messing around with basic OpenCV feature analysis.

4
Jefferson 4 points ago +4 / -0

It took 2 students and less than 400 lines of code. That screams, "easily hackable".

4
GiantSchnauzer 4 points ago +4 / -0

Nobody disagrees. And it's news worthy. But it doesn't match the sensationalism

1
CrackerJack2 1 point ago +1 / -0

I have seen pics. of at least 4 of the Canon DR-G2140 scanners DOMINION used in Georgia for the recount of Nov. 2020 to have both BROKEN AND/OR MISSING SECURITY SEALS, or seals in the wrong places to make their security presence worthless.
The integrity of the these, allegedly Computer Off The Shelf (COTS) scanners, used in Georgia were therefore violated and NONE OF THE RESULTS FROM THESE SCANNERS SHOULD HAVE BEEN USED for the Nov. 2020 election, nor in any future elections.
It is therefore absolutely fraudulent to accept any of the DOMINION results in the State of Georgia, and possibly/likely elsewhere.

1
GiantSchnauzer 1 point ago +1 / -0

So what we all know that. Until it's found being done, this is sensationalism. Fuck we are the only ones who care about the cheating.

Well anonimous voting has been critical in the third world especially where people were intercepted on voting day to vote a certain way or be shot, harassed, threatened, etc.

2
sordfysh 2 points ago +2 / -0

They could keep all of the ballot images and still disconnect the ballots from the tally.

In Illinois, supposedly they print out a receipt for who you voted for. This way you can confirm the machine read your ballot correctly.

However, you still don't know that they tallied the vote correctly. You only know that it didn't misread your ballot.

FYI, in Wisconsin, the elections commission prepared the ballot tabulator machines before each election. Each machine has a mifi and a plugged-in USB stick from the elections commission used to store the tally. But the USB and the mifi are connected even before the first vote is counted. And the USB is the last thing removed before the machine is shut down.

People in Wisconsin have no idea and they don't understand the serious risks. The RINOs are working hard to hide the state of the voting machines and WEC in Wisconsin.

1
AerialRush 1 point ago +1 / -0

There is an easy solution and India already uses it, in-person paper ballots only, and thumb print inked on paper after finishing voting.

4
Zepp87 4 points ago +4 / -0

We are pushing for the ban of all electronic voting machines through referendum (vote in November) on the ballots in my county. Hopefully we can get the signatures, I think we need 3k more still by the end of the month.

Any pedes involved please try and do the same in yours. Data manipulation is easy, anyone in IT could tell you that. Anyone not in IT could tell you that as well at this point too.

All ballots need to be checked by hand and then rechecked by another party, both watched by a third party. It's simple and painstaking but required if we want to have free and fair elections.

You need multiple methods of cheating for plausible deniability. No one method of cheating can be seen as affecting the outcome of the election but in reality multiple methods combined result in the election cartels final paid product.

6

If any one method of cheating is exposed, it’s only a fraction of the entire operation, and can be dismissed as, “not significant enough to change the outcome”

Just submit a blank ballot, and the Dem's will fill it in for you.

Friday / 12 August 2022 6:00 PM CT / The Lindell Report

Brannon Howse on Lindell's https://frankspeech.com/ platform interviews Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin followed by interview of Georgia based election integrity advocate Garland Favorito ( https://voterga.org/ ) in link below.

LA Sec State Ardoin interview details how his office and the LA Attorney General Jeff Landry successfully blocked the use of Zuckerbucks to fund drop boxes in select locations in the state in the 2020 election, and discusses the admission by E.S.&S. executives during a recent hearing that their systems are vulnerable to hacking (video clip shown during interview). The hearing was the final phase of a new open bidding for proposals to replace the current (E.S.&S.) system in the state, a no-bid contract to buy new E.S.&S. equipment was thrown out last year and the process reopened to interested vendors.

Among other subjects related to voting procedures Ardoin brings up his frustration with Georgia Judge Totenberg blocking his and the LA A.G.'s access to the Halderman Report. Under pressure Totenberg did release the report to the Dept of Homeland Security and to CISA. CISA then released a report indentifing (generically) computerized voting equipment vulnerabilities.

Garland Favorito interview follows the Ardoin interview in the link below, and informs Howse that a couple of days earlier Totenberg had dismissed all the motions ( 4 or 5 motions) to release the report because it was now too close to the midterm November election and release of the report (paraphrasing past Totenberg comments on not releasing the report) could cause voters to lose confidence in the election process. Favorito comments she has been sitting on the motions for access to the report by Ardoin and other Sec of States for 5 months.

Very interesting interviews and new information in many areas. The two interviews together are 1 hour.

Great. You know nothing will be done.

Note how there are so many leftists in tech working for Google, MS, etc, who know that you can make software do anything you can imagine in the context of counting votes, and hack systems from many different avenues, and that functions are built into the current systems to do just that for testing purposes or whatever, while they pretend to also know that you can trust the system to count votes accurately. No human thinks that way.

We need this on a clean template. The gateway pundit is not shareable with all the shit on it.

Great. Now we have to record our votes with a high speed camera and play it back in slow motion.

When I voted in 2020 I was happy to see paper ballots. Then I had to feed the ballot into a machine and there was no way to know if it read the ballot correctly. There was no screen to show you what was recorded. Stealing the election was child’s play.

Please forward to Bill Barr and Chris Krebbs. Evidently, they both have their heads too far up their a**es to see crime right in front of them.

Isn't there also a program that flips results to Democrat if the votes are within a close percentage margin?

There's a billion ways to cheat with a computer.....and as soon as you close one loophole they will just find another....you have to severely punish the people participating in this to set an example.....sadly....those kind of stones don't exist in the modern world.....

What can we actually do?

Our constitution allows states to run their elections.. How do we stop them from doing what they want?

This is hypothetical. But still it shows clearly what any computer expert could have told you even the before the election, which is that computers should never be involved in the election process.

To avoid detection, attackers can specify just enough manipulated images to win the race, but not by alarming amounts. The only way to catch this hack is to compare the original paper ballot to the ballot image.

And thats why Hillary lost when she was so convinced she'd win and why Biden became the most popular candidate in history. They knew they could take no chances.

Ok, this is bullshit, but we've known about this for a long time. The article doesn't make clear who identified this and if it was used in 2020 election schemes. Also, what happens to original ballot? You fill it out, it gets scanned, the computer takes an image. The software then uses their blank template, takes an image of your "circle" and then switches. Where does the original ballot go, how was this uncovered, and who used it?
