Repeal the FBI while you're at it.

If we can spin it that minorities, immigrants, & LGBT communities are most impacted by these agencies the libs will do our work for us. Just throw the term “outsized impact on the whole [insert woke victimhood] community” in and they’ll be out in the streets. Work smarter, not harder

Or the government appeases them by vowing to ignore more criminals of color and target more white people and then they gladly give them even more power to abuse.

no need to spin - it's absolutely true

I was trying to think of one that shouldn't be dismantled but no, it's literally all of them that need to go.

3
swoft 3 points ago +4 / -1

Maybe the NTSB? They make pretty comprehensive and useful reports and spawned the whole Mayday/Aircrash Investigation series. Far as I know they never rigged a report to point towards terrorism being the cause of a crash when it wasn't, but then they probably covered up for TWA 800...

2
fenite 2 points ago +2 / -0

They did cover up TWA800. But then again, the FBI was also heavily involved with that investigation.

0
Kvetch_Detector 0 points ago +5 / -5

Who's gonna end them?

No one? They're just gonna steamroll over us, and place their masters on an unreachable pedestal?

Okay then.

A President with a pen and an E.O.

1
trump4045 1 point ago +2 / -1

I don't think it's that simple. If it was then trump is truly an enemy because he empowered the three letters rather than hindered them.

1
projectfreedom 1 point ago +1 / -0

Trump was/is naive as most once were about socialists. They are nothing like us, they don't think like us, they have no values and no moral compass. And they succeed because they know we do.

16

Don't forget the Fisa courts that were in acted and abused after 9/11 that helped get us into this mess.

7
NotAGlowy 7 points ago +7 / -0

Where does the US constitution allow secret courts?

4
elvisbird 4 points ago +4 / -0

I doesn't, this was hurried through just after 9/11 with a lot of questions of giving the courts this much power and allowing them to be secret outside of the law. As we all have seen this was ripe for abuse. It must be repealed.

3
Ttunac787 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah, they scared us after 9/11, too. That's when they get to pull the shady shit. https://youtu.be/k49E6cR_hk8

Rand going after the Espionage Act makes it sound like it's been confirmed that Trump violated it, even though there's no evidence of that, it's just a random act they put on there

That will become the real test. Acting once Trump is back in office.

Until than, most of it is '2 more weeks'

3
XDingoX83 3 points ago +3 / -0

Rand and his father have been consistent their entire political careers. They have been arguing for smaller government and calling out the alphabet agencies if the GOP is in power or not. It’s just they are 2 men and the RINOs fight against them. Just because you’re a bit slow on the uptake. Doesn’t mean that Rand is the bad guy. Some of us have been here since 2008 and earlier saying the same shit but no one listened.

1
Oldworldpatriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

True. I've blessed to have encountered Ron Paul shirtly before he announced his exploratory committee in 07. Watched the Giuliani schooling moment life, and still have chills when I rewatch this docu:

https://youtu.be/GR4WYqabTxU

Ron Paul at one point drew 10s of thousands of people to his campaign rallies. He effectively spoke live to over a million people. It was amazing to be there at that point in time and it was my wakeup call.

That being said, maybe I was a bit too harsh on Rand. It is a lingering feeling I have with some of the pandering when he just started out. And to be honest, after '12 I started paying less attention to the details.

Anyways, to keep a long story short. Rand is not the bad guy here. ;)

1
XDingoX83 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think one of the faults that we have as a community is too rigid of a purity test. The problem with libertarians is they have zero purity tests, well until the mises caucus took over, there is value in having some more moderate but consistent people that you support. For instance people hate on Tulsi and yeah okay she is a dem and she is WEF etc etc. You take her for what she is. I'd rather have a whole DNC full of Tulsi Gabbards who meet you half way than what we have now. Getting 50% of what you want is better than 0%. That is something that is lost on a lot of people and being too rigid in your values gets you 0%.

1
Oldworldpatriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fair enough. Strict for your own. Supportive of 'outsiders'. You mean in that sense?

Btw, never go for middle ground ;)

They are going to start simply arresting senators and congressmen that do not agree with their evils. I can already picture it. Straight up hauling them out of hearings and meetings... Rand where were you under Trump!!! It's to late asshoe!! Good luck getting that looked at!!

5
Ttunac787 5 points ago +7 / -2

He's been here the whole time, dipshit. Damn dude, your little emotional outbursts are embarrassing. You'd still be in lockdown if it weren't for Paul. https://youtu.be/3ICBBK-d-C0

1
cbonez416 1 point ago +1 / -0

Oh really. Didn't hear a peep from him or his friends while we owned all 3 branches under Trump! Where were all of them? Hiding behind Paul Ryan? Or Mitch? Give me a break. Trump was golfing with all of them asking for support and got DICK!! Learn the game or get out of the way. These people are owned. And he should know better with his father being Ron paul. I have no love for stand by leaders while the left gets everything it wants.

1
cbonez416 1 point ago +1 / -0

Rand did nothing to end any lockdowns. Only a few governors stepped up.

Very publicly all talk with his Republican friends. It's a game my man. They all take turns playing it. Except when the time counts like let's say 2016 to 2018 when Republicans had all 3 branches. They all disappear. where were they under Trump? What a joke.

1

Like I said, dumbfuck, you'd still be in lockdown if it weren't for Paul. Trump put Fauci in charge of the pandemic and he tanked the economy. Paul drug him in front of congress and got him to lie to the country/world. https://youtu.be/n2XJRaeiBrM

Fuck rand paul the traitor! Mother fucker loves it when he has an easy stance to take so he can grandstand. God I hate these people.

1
Siteless_Vagrant 1 point ago +2 / -1

Dude I mean seriously. The one time he could've used his influence to do something good for this country, he sided with Pence. Fuck that guy. Only puts up a bill for a vote when he knows it won't do shit. Then gets on Twitter and drones on and on about his "principles".

0
Ttunac787 0 points ago +2 / -2

Fauci was bigger than Beyonce. https://youtu.be/ZPgVf9F44HU

0
Ttunac787 0 points ago +2 / -2

Paul cleaned up Trumps mistake. For whatever reason Trump put Fauci up front on the pandemic. Fauci, with the help of the media, became more powerful than Trump. Essentially controlling society and the economy through fear and mandates. Fauci was king. Trump wouldn't fire him. I will always be grateful that Rand Paul drug Fauci in front of congress and the world and publicly spanked his ass. Rand Paul broke the Fauci spell. Information that had been banned/suppressed by big tech, social media, and mainstream media was allowed to flow for fear of getting sued. Rand Paul is the truth. https://youtu.be/n2XJRaeiBrM

1

How much does he PAY you guys?

Go back to Reddit.

0
Ttunac787 0 points ago +2 / -2

When Faucis' emails leaked, Paul pounced and got him in front of congress to repeatedly expose him. The media still prop him up, but he's definitely not the front man he used to be. https://youtu.be/HFYyUOKYJfg

Why isn't the little pandering shrimp calling for disbanding the FBI and the impeachment of Biden, #DuhGarland and Wray? Those are far more important at this time.

Rand is just another traitorous Republican blathering on fund raising as the country becomes an authoritarian state instead of actually doing something.

Wait, why repeal they Espionage Act? They want to let Snowdon off the hook?

7
Patriots_dont_kneel 7 points ago +8 / -1

So you think the NSA and all the other spooks spying on every single American with no due process is cool?

-5
off_teh_copium -5 points ago +1 / -6

why, what has that got to do with this?

4
OIKOBOIKO 4 points ago +5 / -1

Because it's an overreach of executive power and a glaring violation of the 4th amendment?

-4
off_teh_copium -4 points ago +1 / -5

you still haven't answered, what has that got to do with the espionage act?

5
OIKOBOIKO 5 points ago +5 / -0

Snowden leaked classified documents from the NSA -> The NSA itself is an unconstitutional department -> The espionage act being used on him because of this shows it shouldn't be a thing

1
off_teh_copium 1 point ago +2 / -1

ok but why is Rand calling for it now? It doesn't really have any rhyme or reason right now.

1
OIKOBOIKO 1 point ago +1 / -0

Because they're trying to charge Trump with it. Are you being dense on purpose or are you normally this stupid?

1
BigIronBigIron 1 point ago +1 / -0

So you think the NSA and all the other spooks spying on every single American with no due process is cool?

why, what has that got to do with this?

The NSA's sole purpose is espionage.

4
Patriots_dont_kneel 4 points ago +4 / -0

That's what Snowden revealed about our government. I assume you meant Snowden, because "Snowdon" is a mountain in Wales.

6
Whoopies_tds 6 points ago +6 / -0

And Assange

8
akira2501 8 points ago +8 / -0

A non US citizen shouldn't be prosecuted under the act. It's a logical absurdity in the first place.

1
FuckChinaJoe 1 point ago +1 / -0

Remember the US government was paying a Swedish woman to claim Assange raped her to imprison him at first, because they couldn’t find any laws he broke. It turned out to be totally fabricated.

Swedish government and Australian government are parts of the global totalitarianism led by Washington DC’s shadow government. New Zealand, Britain, Canada, Israel, and Denmark are all parts of it.

0
akira2501 0 points ago +1 / -1

I'm pretty sure you can charge Snowden with crimes without requiring the espionage act to exist.

2
off_teh_copium 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hmmm maybe charge, but the espionage act doesn't have any whistleblower protections. Try any other charge and he very much does have a whistleblower defence.

1
akira2501 1 point ago +1 / -0

He lacks that. Having not followed the proper procedure to be classified as a whistleblower. He made no effort to contact congress, as far as I can see, and merely writing one letter to your supervisor saying you think we might be on shaky legal ground does not count.

He jumped the gun.

He wanted to make a name for himself.

Any competent prosecutor could manage this.

The "chilling effect" is the point though. So, they go about it stupid, on purpose, to get this goal above all others.
