RANK MURKOWSKI LAST

67
Elencher 67 points ago +68 / -1

Just don't rank her, you don't have to rank them all and they don't get the vote if you don't rank them.

46
meme_kat 46 points ago +47 / -1

This is correct.

Do not rank Murkowski at all.

8
jpower 8 points ago +9 / -1

Faux News has Kelly at the very bottom of their long list of candidates.

You have to select "Show more candidates" to even see her.

-4
deleted -4 points ago +1 / -5

jamesbcrazy 18 points ago +19 / -1

Ranking her last is equivalent to ranking everyone else and not ranking her. Instant runoff can never have a person's vote count for their last-choice candidate.

6
Eatinglue 6 points ago +10 / -4

Charlie Kirk was saying that you HAVE to rank all three or it’s a spoiled ballot.

23
jamesbcrazy 23 points ago +24 / -1

Nope, the instructions specifically say that a single vote is legal.

4
dannypipes75 4 points ago +5 / -1

Go watch the veritas video. If you don't rank all three It spoils the whole ballot

1
Southboundanddown 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't need a video, this go round there was no RCV for the senate race.

1
dannypipes75 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yea it was!

4
Elencher 4 points ago +8 / -4

Shit could be, but I'd also not trust Charlie Kirk. Best to ask the poll workers and read the instructions yourself. But seriously if they do that, what a fucking joke it's like they're trying to telegraph their fraud.

1
snoopy3210 1 point ago +3 / -2

Shut up rank Murk last and you will be sure it won’t be spoiled. Poll workers are often democrats.

0
Bitfypmer 0 points ago +1 / -1

Charlie Kirk banged your Mom.

1
Rus25rs 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes they Are telling people this to try to get people to rink so they can cheat the ranking is all about cheating you actually don’t have to rank at all

No!

PatriotJuice 5 points ago +5 / -0

Sadly Murkowski is going to win in November because of Ranked Choice Voting, pushed hard by progressives and secretly by her campaign. She will come in second to to Tshibaka by a decent margin, but will siphon enough votes away that Kelly won't get 50%.

Democrats and GOP are on the same ballot, so the Democrats are all choosing Murkowski as their second choice. When the Dem comes in third and is eliminated, all their votes go to Murkowski, pushing her to the top even though she is not the favored GOP candidate.

Patriots can do little about it, as people have floated leaving their other choices blank or ranking Murkowski like 5th. It will almost entirely come down to the Democrat actions at the polls...

3
Chilkat 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's a vote for one, jungle primary. Primary is not rank choice, the top four will go on the November ballot. Murk will get on the November ballot, she has the lefty vote, always has.

42
lurkwellmyfriends 42 points ago +44 / -2

Ranked choice.

"I didn't win but I won!1!"

Unfuckingbelivable.

worst voting system ever. Alaska is a red state how is this shit still in place?

30

Red State means what?

Romney

Bush

Sasse

Murkowski

Cheney

Abbot

Ducey

Graham

Ryan

Crenshaw

Every state legislature that certified Biden electors.

Republicans suck. Red State politicians take our money and fuck us over for the neocon/neolib uniparty.

5
texas4ever 5 points ago +6 / -1

Abbott is decent, not great. He did some good work with the anti-abortion stuff. The bussing people to DC is also in between a RINO and MAGA. The correct solution of course is to send them back.

5
Ghostof_PatrickHenry 5 points ago +6 / -1

correct solution is to militarize state forces and deploy them along the border.

Biden is in the Whitehouse and it could never have happened without the Republican party putting him there.

No election integrity. 2020 election fraud. The DS is working hard to take this state blue, it isn't for our 3 electoral votes, it's to capture our immense resources.

14

EDIT: Clarify what "that" refers to:

"I didn't win but I won!1!"

-5
jamesbcrazy -5 points ago +10 / -15

It's disturbingly common for people here to not realize that IRV actually benefits us in most elections, as it diminishes the effect of the split conservative vote.

In a "normal" primary + first-past-the-post system, Murkowski would probably win the R nom today with under 50%, leaving us no MAGA options in the general. In the new Alaska system, she has to beat another Republican in November.

She had 44% of the vote in 2016 with full Republican support. The only way she beats Tshibaka is if she gets a decent portion of the R vote and most of the Dem/third-party voters pick her over Tshibaka. That's not likely to happen.

5
ab1ab1 5 points ago +6 / -1

There's a chance you'll find how wrong you are about "actually benefits us" in a few hours when Sarah Palin and Nick Begich III split the conservative vote in the special House election in Alaska, and a Democrat wins because of second-choice votes (probably from Begich voters who despise Palin).

Even if Palin somehow slips through (less likely), or Begich does (more likely; if Palin comes in 3rd place), the ONLY way the liberal Democrat had any chance at all was thanks to Rigged Choice Voting.

Rigged Choice Voting is designed so that liberals of both parties benefit and conservatives never win another election except in the most conservative Republican states -- of which Alaska is definitely NOT one.

That's why liberals simply adore RCV, and when they see how well it works in Alaska -- even if they lose they still came closer than they otherwise would have -- they will spend big bucks (like they did in Alaska in 2020) to get ignorant voters in other states to adopt this rigged game as well.

When Democrats find themselves losing the game, they change the rules.

1
Foletado 1 point ago +1 / -0

'Splitting the vote' does not happen with Instant-runoff voting (IRV). What happens is that your vote gets transferred to your next most preferred candidate.

5
lurkwellmyfriends 5 points ago +8 / -3

I dunno. Seems like a way for the incumbent to stay in power no matter what. Convenient.

4
Throwingway22 4 points ago +5 / -1

That's exactly what it is. Ranked voting is only for the retarded "clever boy" crowd that can't comprehend why their ideas always fail.

2
Throwingway22 2 points ago +3 / -1

Ranked voting benefits incumbents, not insurgent candidates. Support it if you never want to take back the party.

It's the same retarded logic that convinced people that the 17th amendment would increase their influence.

0
Foletado 0 points ago +1 / -1

You have it backwards. It benefits newcomers more because people will select them as their first choice and old party or incumbents more.

0
Throwingway22 0 points ago +1 / -1

Meanwhile, in reality, those extra candidates get eliminated first and their redistributed second place votes will almost exclusively go to the incumbents. Putting a loss for the incumbent into the win column after redistribution.

Retarded faggots like you need to get lost. Show up, cast your vote, but you're too stupid to contribute beyond that.

1
Foletado 1 point ago +1 / -0

Meanwhile, in reality, those extra candidates get eliminated first

Being eliminated first means that they had the least number of votes as preferred, which means that they never had a chance.

That is simple, retard.

2
SickOfSatanism 2 points ago +2 / -0

No it doesn't you retarded faggot.

Conservatives only vote republican. Some vote libertarian. They hate each other though, so would only vote once.

Leftists have a half dozen different parties at minimum. They rank them all but ignore the conservative parties. So all those votes get recounted to the Democrat.

If RCV goes into effect, Democrats will ALWAYS win.

1
BayTiger 1 point ago +1 / -0

It didn’t fucking benefit us in Alaska tonight. Republicans got 61% of the vote tonight but lost the seat to a Democrat.

27
MobileDev4Trump 27 points ago +29 / -2

Rank choice though. How could you allow that? Might as well hand the Democrats blank ballots and a programmable voting machine.

8
Yignuced 8 points ago +8 / -0

That’s what we do, isn’t it?

-4
jamesbcrazy -4 points ago +7 / -11

You realize that IRV actually helps us here? Murkowski would probably win a first-past-the-post Republican primary right now, but once it's narrowed down to 2 R candidates we have a better shot of beating her (especially considering most third-party voters won't be going to Murkowski as their #2.)

18
cyberwar 18 points ago +21 / -3

wrong dude. there is no republican primary. this is a jungle primary and most of the demonrats will rank her 2nd

It works like this. I vote 3rd party as my first choice, Murkowski second and D last. 3rd party doesn’t get enough votes to matter so all the 3rd party votes get redistributed. Murkowski takes my vote and others who voted similar to me, and she wins as a second place.

-1
littleman -1 points ago +1 / -2

By not picking a second choice you remove yourself. If your first choice gets eliminated, you've said you don't care who wins amongst the others. If that doesn't describe you, pick other choices. It's not rocket science, but it is being gamed by democrats and RINOs.

The re-election rate is gross for what should be easy defeats of many of these lizard people (Murkowski) from the swamp. The incumbent class knows how to manipulate the system which they designed to tip scales in their favor. Decades of making special interests rich thanks to Murkowski is the biggest obstacle, hence her best weapon. Not many incumbents fall victim to new blood. This must stop if we are to take back the country from evil.

5
HoganP 5 points ago +6 / -1

Also, why didn't Palin run for Senate instead of house?

5
TommyJarvis 5 points ago +5 / -0

In Alaska there’s only 1 district in the house. I’m sure that is a factor

-4
TheRealJaredHolt -4 points ago +2 / -6

Why are we liking Palin again? She was S E L E C T E D and vetted to be fucking McCains running mate for a reason.

0
HoganP 0 points ago +2 / -2

I like Palin because she's never been shown to be a RINO and she's demonstrated that she can get elected in Alaska. Somebody needs to get Murkowski out of that seat and even if they are a RINO there's a low chance it will be worse. She's been supportive of MAGA in recent years, as far as I know.

She was McCain's running mate for the same reason any candidate chooses any VP for their ticket...To round it out. She was good for McCain in the same way Pence was good for Trump...They appeal to people in the base the candidate does not.

You can do what you want, but I never stopped liking Palin since there's never been any real reason to besides the TV saying so. Probably because I understand how politics go. There is no "we". Fuck off.

0
TheRealJaredHolt 0 points ago +2 / -2

Whatever dude, if you think they just randomly selected her to be his running mate instead of thoroughly vetting her, then thats on you. She is a deep state puppet, and she always has been.

0
HoganP 0 points ago +1 / -1

Yeah because the deep state sticks their puppets in the frozen tundra state with 25 voters as governors, hockey moms, and grandmothers for a decade and a half before springing them. The really really deep long game. Lol

I told you why they selected her and none of it was random. I can't guarantee she won't be s RINO but, from anything she's actually done, there's nothing that indicates that she will be. Your superstitious hysteria about her being on that ticket wasn't that. Besides not necessarily being ready for the national stage, she was preferable to McCain. None of that is bad.

Send Sarah back and forth to DC for she will be your voice of prosperity as she has been before! I've watched Sarah in person and she is wonderful!

VOTE WITH TRUMP CANDIDATES!

Rise again on the power of your people!

VOTE GOP! and send the dems running off the ship like the lemmings that white wolves chase!

God bless you Alaska!

3
HisShadowX 3 points ago +3 / -0

I am hoping Murkowski loses keep in mind she lost before in a primary and she is one of the few politicians to get elected after she lost her primary in a write in campaign.

I am hoping the people of Alaska are sick of her but to win in a write in campaign means people in a majority went out of their way to write her name in at the ballot box. I think that’s why so many republicans don’t cross her is because she was elected by mandate of the people which is rare.

I’m hoping the people had enough of here but we shall not know until the general election if history repeats itself

4
jamesbcrazy 4 points ago +5 / -1

It's a top-4 primary, she only needs 20%ish first place votes to advance. She will almost inevitably be one of two R candidates listed in November.

3
Nameless_Mofo 3 points ago +3 / -0

Pretty sure she won that by fraud, not by mandate. If 2020 taught us anything, it's that these corrupt election fuckbags will go to any lengths to keep the swamp in power.

3

I don't think there's a realistic chance Cheney survives the primary, but Murkowski...they have the whole system magically changed there to make sure she'll be on the ballot November, pretty much no matter what, so that she can get all the Dem votes to block a MAGA candidate, essentially giving Democrats veto power over the result of Republican primaries.

What do you call a candidate who wins because all the Democrats vote for them to prevent a Republican from getting into office? A Democrat. Murkowski is, at this point, functionally a Democrat for every realistic purpose.

Murkowski isn't going anywhere right now. This will come down between Kelly and Murkowski and Anchorage is full of liberal pussies from california that will vote for Murkowski. Also, Murkowski has spent years funneling money to the remote villages. The Natives in the remote villages are dumb, triple boosted, and still wearing masks because of ADN fear porn and the Natives are voting for what ever name they recognize or are told to vote for by the T.V man (Anchorage Daily News is communist AF and is broadcast in the villages like gospel). The only path would be to somehow coordinate an effort to eliminate Murkowski with this ranked voting but that will not happen, I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually schemed that tshiba somehow be eliminated by RCV.
