I don't know about that, because most of my group of friends have terrible unhealthy lifestyles but are mentally healthy and not on antipsychotics. Unhealthy lifestyles aren't new, but adults supposedly coming down with crippling mental disorders in their midlife out of complete nowhere with absolutely zero history of any mental issues is.
The thing is all of my peers that have showed up with lifelong and severe yet miraculously “only recently diagnosed” mental illnesses in midlife suspiciously have blue haired friends they met only shortly before. Those of us smart enough to avoid these pinkos like the plague have strangely avoided this fate, unanimously and regardless of lifestyle.
I think it's basically genderspecial, except much more palatable outside of insane blue districts and with fun drugs. Genderspecial-lite, so to speak.

Leading an unhealthy lifestyle doesn't change your biochemical and neurological makeup. Bad choices aren't the same as bad chemistry and genetics.
