The Russians have suffered a lot a abuse by the Royals - 1st Keizer Whilhelm financing the soviet take over - plunging the Russians into the Soviet gulag system until they freed themselves. And now King Charles blowing up their pipeline and locking us into forever war in Ukraine.

Russians didn't free themselves from shit. And sadly, there was no way they could have. It collapsed (thank God) under it's own weight. That's the shit part of finding oneself under such a system. There is no freeing oneself from it. There is only waiting for it to pass, while doing what's necessary to survive or find a way to escape. The wholesale loss of dignity and destruction of humanity was catastrophic. They still haven't fully recovered from it.

The way in which the west left them all hanging after the Soviet system collapsed. It's no surprise they wound up under dysfunctional and corrupt government but a wonder they didn't descend into another form of hell. There really should have been some form of 'marshall plan' to assist the Russians and help them rebuild thier nation in a new, non Soviet image. But instead, all the resources went toward propping up the CCP and preventing it's pending collapse in the 90s.

A 100% asleep analysis.

You believe the fake news for decades.

We know now the US was actively sabotaging Soviet infrastructure with cyber weapons in the 1980s, for example. It has been admitted by US authors in books about cyber warfare.

Much of the dysfunction of the Soviet state was actually enemy action that they couldn't stop because they fell behind technologically in the electronics sector.

Why did they fall behind? Iron clad sanctions that went into place in the 1940s. Those sanctions were many times stronger and more widespread than the sanctions that exist today. Over decades of complete separation from 90% of the world economically, they couldn't keep pace in some sectors.

That's what happened. Has nothing to do with "our magnificent system." As we know now, our magnificent system is similarly a dictatorship controlled by intelligence agencies. Our politics are a sham and our propaganda the least trustworthy around.

That didn't just start recently. You're only noticing it now because those who control it lack the power to implement their insane ambitions.

Touch a nerve did I?

Some sectors? How about all sectors. Apart from a limited number of spectacular publicity stunts, the USSR was always behind. In all sectors. The space accomplishments were made with vastly inferior tech, materials and manufacturing. It took extra resources the nation arguably didn't have to spare and talented and resourceful scientists and engineers, previously un-personed but pulled from the sharashkas to get done what party hacks in good standing could not. They were also forced to accept unteasonable risks to human life in order to accomplish what they did with what they had.

The soviet system never had a snowball's chance in hell of working. The 'sanctions' you speek of are the stuff of fantasy. What did the most damage was isolation self inflicted by the soviets themselves out of paranoia and distrust. And to fall behind, you have to be caught up. There was a series of ill fated 5yr plans going all the way back to before the 'great patriotic war'. None of wich ever came close to meeting goal. Made good excuses for sending people to gulag though.

And loads of foreign aid before and during WWII. Henry Ford even built a series of factories over there, even sent American workers to staff them and train locals. All aimed at getting the backward, Soviet Union industrialized and caught up. And they never made it.

And for thier troubles, the American Ford workers were abandoned not only by Ford but the Roosevelt administration as well, to fates in the gulag system. Thier children raised in Soviet orphanages.

There were some bright bulbs in the post war USSR who accomplished great things with limited resources within the confines of a horribly dysfunctional system. But they were never 'caught up.' The whole thing was never self sustaining or self sufficient.

What the Russians have going today is far more self sufficient and self sustaining and not nearly as dysfunctional. Arguably even more so than the overly outsourced Europe they are currently at odds with.

And all of the western ills you speak of. Gladly brought into the US by the Comintern and accepted with open arms by libtards everywhere.

And in closing, enjoy the cope.

Depends how you measure a sector I suppose. Definitely closer to all than to none. Also depends how you measure "behind".

Electronics they were several decades behind and it was probably the most critical sector for a late 20th century economy. Other areas only a few years when compared with the U.S..

Not arguing for the superiority of the Soviet system, but I am arguing that the popular conception of what occurred, that it collapsed under its own weight, is false. It was helped along, considerably, by Western action. Sanctions of all kinds, repeated crises requiring over investment in security, and outright sabotage.

Without that Western action it would still be around today and it never would have been as economically backward as it became.

As far as your dismissal of sanctions, you're just plain wrong. I urge you to get over your pride on that one. Our sanctions were very, very strong and immediately implemented across the developed world at the time (unlike now, when they are a farce)

"In 1946, the Cold War began, which prepared new economic sanctions against the USSR. In March 1948, the US Department of Commerce restricted the export of strategic materials, equipment and weapons to the USSR and the countries of the "socialist camp" in Eastern Europe. In 1949, these restrictions were enshrined in the Export Control Act. In the United States, to implement these measures, even the Coordinating Committee for Multilateral Export Controls (COCOM) was specially created to oversee the supply of goods and technologies from Western states to the USSR and other socialist countries. The structure of COCOM included 17 Western countries led by the United States. Six other countries cooperated with this committee. The coordinators developed a strategy of "controlled technological backwardness", according to which equipment and technologies could be sold to socialist countries no earlier than four years after their release. COCOM lasted until 1994. He played a significant role in the confrontation between the then existing 2 camps of countries: the capitalist and the socialist."

And loads of foreign aid before and during WWII. Henry Ford even built a series of factories over there, even sent American workers to staff them and train locals.

That's funny since the same story applies to Hitler's Germany.

Ford supplied engines for Hitler's Jeeps, among other equipment for his war machine. IBM gave them the numbering system. Prescott Bush, grandpappy-in-law of George Herbert Walker Bush, owned a bank during that period. It was a federal reserve member bank. His bank was seized for directly funding Hitler. Dozens of corporations donated cash and/or materials to Hitler and his war machine.

Kinda like Ukraine, but not directly by the US Government, just the corporations. Not much has changed.

Central banks have always funded all sides of war, and it's still happening to this day.

It's always the banksters; therefore, you can't trust the history you were taught. Everything you think you currently know as a fact will vaporize like a thick fog in a hot summer sunrise.

What was he going to do with the entire corrupt government working against him?

If his presidency taught us anything it's that the Deep State and the establishment (swamp) hold the real power and that the presidency is mostly a ceremonial position.

I didn't say he couldn't do anything. He did manage to accomplish a lot, but he was held back from making any decisive moves by the Swamp. There was no chance that he was going to be able to get the DOJ to prosecute themselves or their political handlers, and there was no chance he was going to get those political a handlers to relinquish control of the DOJ.

As for running in 2024, he hasn't even announced yet, but the idea is that if we can wrest control away from them on the political side then we can clean up the DOJ and the other corrupt institutions. It's a long shot for sure, but it's worth trying.

0bama, Biden, or any other establishment President have no trouble persecuting their political opponents because they are on the same team as the DOJ and the rest of the corrupt government. It's not Biden calling the shots, and it wasn't 0bama calling the shots either. When a President actually does try to call the shots, and those shots are directed against the corruption, the shots don't get fired.

No one is making any excuses here, this is simply pointing out harsh reality.

You know I met you once.

I was a supporter of yours. Big one.

But when I met you, you turned out to be a huge a-hole.

Do you realize that is how you come off in person to hundreds if not thousands of those who personally met you?

You are just bad at this.

And I see what you're doing on this website and it's not cute and it won't fly.

Attacking Trump and boosting DeSantis by the likes of you will only increase the suspicion that DeSantis himself is actually uniparty, deep state controlled garbage. I personally suspect that myself but I'm holding off judgment.

There's only one politician right now that can be trusted to restore the Constitution, and it isn't DeSantis. That's because he's the one everyone in utterly corrupt Washington is trying to stop.

The future that Washington consensus has in mind for us is unacceptable. That term gets thrown around a lot. Unacceptable. But this time it's real.

No subterfuge, no deal making, no compromises can sway the growing and vast majority of the GOP that despises everything Washington is trying to do much less has already done.

If you don't want to be an anachronism I'd advise truly adopting that view, and if the FBI doesn't like it, all the better. Let them come for you. You only win politically from that fight, but your fear of them keeps you chained down like a dog, and people can see it.

Another thing we know is that UK has a gas pipelines to Germany (BBL and interconnector) that can send ~2% of Germany's normal daily gas usage in winter, and most of LNG terminals connect to EU. They're set to export 7x more to EU than last year.

That's not a huge raw amount, but running it full capacity at very high gas prices will net the UK a ton of money. Of course US also has the more profit motive to blow up nord stream.

English speaker did a good job paraphrasing what Putin talks about at the Russian version of WEF where he informally addresses the Russian people.

Talks about his philosophy, political vision, future prospects. Decide if he is friend, enemy or something else to you.

Overall, it would be nice if more people in the west broke through bubble of western only media. It amazes me how ingrained the idea is that literally everything said and spoken in Russia is propaganda, so there is no point seeking out their perspective. It's like people in US and Europe do not understand that it would be literally impossible for that to be the case because Russians are also human and they also need to communicate with each other.

Who had the most to gain by blowing up the pipeline? It sure as hell wasn't Russia. I can see Britain, and Germany doing it as punishment for Russia slowing down their energy supply to those two countries. I can also see our CIA being responsible for it. Just like, who has the most to gain by starting an extensive conflagration in a country known for its corruption? Who had the most to gain by releasing a manufactured bat virus onto the world? Who had the most to gain by creating and dispensing an untested shot? Who had the most to gain by changing the description of what constitutes a "vaccine"? Who had the most to gain by providing unlimited access to absentee ballot drop boxes, and stopping the ballot count on election night 2020? And who has the most to gain by creating a phony committee whose sole purpose is to make sure Donald Trump is ineligible to ever run for office again?

The pipelines were Germany's only way out of the energy crisis they are headed for this winter. It wasn't Germany. It was Britain/US, and they did it to ensure Germany didn't break from the sanctions.

Exactly right. Russia was using the pipeline as leverage and Germany showed signs of getting wobbly on the sanctions, so the US decided to put an end to it, using Britain as a proxy to do the deed.

Makes perfect sense. Trump warned Germany about their dependency on Russian energy. I find it rather ironic myself, that the country that invaded Russia in WWII, in order to gain control of its oil fields, ended up being dependent on that same country's oil for many years afterwards. After Russia's long-term occupation of East Berlin, the Berlin Wall, etc., you'd think that the first thing Germany would have done after reunification was to get as far away from Russian influence, and dependence as possible. No wonder the morons lost the two World Wars they started.

Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia on July 28, 1914. Four days later Germany declared war on Russia, France, and Belgium. It was tit for tat in the days after. My great-uncle who served in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces was drafted in early 1918, went to France, was wounded in action by German machine gun fire, and died a few days later...two months before the Armistice. He's buried in a British Military Cemetery in northern France.

Thanks for reminding me about those. I grew up in the 50's, and experienced regular air raid drills in school, and lived under the shadow of possible nuclear war every day. Russia has never been a country that has trusted anyone, lease of all their own people. I can't begrudge them still feeling that way about other countries, especially in today's globalist world. They aren't perfect, but neither is Ukraine, or this country. They all come with excess baggage. Russia has lied about many things over the years, but so has Ukraine, the FBI, CIA, NSA, and our own government. There are many things that none of us will ever be privy to. That's why I won't take sides in this issue, and can't support Russia or Ukraine, two countries that made the Clinton and Biden crime families wealthy...not to mention China. The Deep Swamp here allowed the Clintons, Obamas, Bidens, etc., to grow rich and powerful from their political connections, and access. I'm glad I'm on the tail-end of my life, and hopefully won't live long enough to see this country totally turned into a third-world shit hole.

The UK were one of the first to be outraged that Russia rammed Ukrainian tugboats a few years ago. The Russians claimed initially that the tugboat had British nukes/dirty bombs on it to blow up that Crimean bridge and make it impossible to rebuild and make a future invasion way harder.

I'd be willing to believe Russia that the UK is heavily involved, especially now.

The Brits and the US both have capabilities to blow up the pipeline. The USS Kersarge was in the are doing “drills” right before the explosion.

The news isn’t talking about it. Blinkin said the destruction of the pipeline presents “opportunities”.

No one is held accountable. Sweden has info it won’t share with other EU countries because of security concerns.

The explosion happens off the coast of Germany/Poland. Which is on the opposite end of the pipeline and nowhere near Russia. Germany owns 51% of the pipeline.

Do with this what you will.
