Trump needs to post on Twitter. Too much reach and influence to ignore for America's sake.

Jesus people, trump isn’t going back to Twitter. He couldn’t even if he wanted to.

He signed an exclusivity agreement with TMTG and has a fiduciary duty to post all new content to truth exclusively for 6 hours before it can be put on any other platform.

Here’s the SEC filing for the nth time.

I think that's where we're headed. At least I hope so.

23
SquiggyMcPepe 23 points ago +23 / -0

I'm enjoying all the triggered comments on elons feed though. Trump doesn't even need to post to drive them into spasms of REEEEEEE!!

6
StrongPeacemaker 6 points ago +6 / -0

That's what I'm thinking... reeeee'ing is ensuing. Trump will remain silent. We will move on from this. Focus on AZ and Kari and the Runoff in GA.... then sometime this winter... BAM! he will tweet outta nowhere....

9
Taco_of_Kiev 9 points ago +9 / -0

That is the best Twitter will get. That and he can have his fundraising bots solicit campaign contributions, that’s about it.

I broke it down and posted the pertinent snippet here:

https://patriots.win/u/Taco_of_Kiev?type=post&sort=new

5
Error404 5 points ago +5 / -0

Truth: “Looking ahead to 2024, we have a lot of work cut out for ourselves”

Twitter (6 hrs after): “Follow me on Truth Social, click the link below 👇 something something something blah blah blah”

2
schism 2 points ago +2 / -0

At best, I think that's what will happen.

13
basedBlumpkin 13 points ago +14 / -1

WRONG

In addition, he may make a post from a personal account related to political messaging, political fundraising or get-out-the-vote efforts on any social media site at any time.

The 6 hour window is for non-political content only. Majority of his posts are political in nature.

7
crimsonfancy 7 points ago +7 / -0

Agreed. No way he'd stifle himself knowing that in due time he'd be reinstated. The wait and speculation is part of the tactic.

2
pray4peace4 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wow - we have a war of factoids going. Those are fun. Ok, what's the retort?

-4
Taco_of_Kiev -4 points ago +2 / -6

You are conflating social commentary with political messaging.

9
basedBlumpkin 9 points ago +10 / -1

No, that's what you're doing. Especially now that he's a presidential candidate.

10
-jjjjjjjjjj- 10 points ago +11 / -1

From December 22, 2021, until the expiration of 18 months thereafter, (the “TMTG Social Media Exclusivity Term”), President Trump has agreed to first channel any and all social media communications and posts coming from his personal profile to the Truth Social platform before posting that same social media communication and/or post to any other social media platform that is not Truth Social (collectively, “Non-TMTG Social Media”) until the expiration of “DJT/TMTG Social Media 6-Hour Exclusive” which means the period commencing when DJT posts any social media communication onto the Truth Social Platform and ending six (6) hours thereafter; provided that he may post social media communications from his personal profile that specifically relates to political messaging, political fundraising or get-out-the vote efforts at any time on any Non-TMTG social media platforms. Unless notice is given, the TMTG Social Media Exclusivity Term extends in perpetuity for additional 180-day terms. In the event of a force majeure as described in the License Agreement that lasts longer than 30 days, President Trump shall have the right to invoke the suspension of the “DJT/TMTG Social Media 6-Hour Exclusive.” If the Social Media Exclusivity Term were to expire but the License Agreement remained in effect, President Trump would be required to post contemporaneously to TruthSocial and Non-TMTG Social Media.

Trump can post anything political on any platform.

Trump needs to openly delegate a minion to repost his TruthSocial messages on Twitter ... half-an-hour later.

8
MAGASpaceCat 8 points ago +8 / -0

Trump is contractually obligated to only post on Truth Social, but he is allowed to mirror his posts on other social media outlets if they are time-delayed by six hours.

3
Barbs 3 points ago +3 / -0

At the same time, with the way they botched the rollout of TS, combined with the fact that it’s still not available in other countries, he could probably do whatever he wants and dare them to sue him.

Personally I care more about winning the Presidency than Truth Social’s quarterly earnings report. Hopefully GEOTUS does too. He’ll be squelched until June 2023, which is a bit too late for my preference.

2
catvideos3 2 points ago +2 / -0

14
UNLIMITED_POWER 14 points ago +14 / -0

He's in a pretty tough position though, if he starts tweeting again, he's going to get sued by Truth Social investors. There's really no other reason to be on there other than for Trump.

-2
HoganP -2 points ago +3 / -5

There are people on YouTube making videos about how to boil an egg with more than that on the Twitter accounts they announce their videos with.

There are 330 million people in the US. 5 million is a city sized gesture.

3
CantStumpIWin 3 points ago +3 / -0

What’s your point?

One just started and one is well established and promoted by ALL mainstream media until a week ago.

Get real.

0
HoganP 0 points ago +2 / -2

I am real, hence my pointing out that while these alt tech platforms are great to have and everyone should use them, they almost without exception don't even dent the established first movers.

Twitter has been consistently in the top 5 highest traffic sites on the internet for both the US and worldwide for a decade. Often top 3. Trump's 86 million followers on Twitter represents in excess of a percentage point of the world's population. In comparison, Truth Social is a toy.

If this was about promoting alt tech, this would be a different discussion. But it's not. It's about getting elected president.

-3
hdhdhdhdbdbdbsb -3 points ago +3 / -6

so you think that one day fruit social is going to have as many users as twitter?.

you think that the majority of people in the country want to use a right-wing social media Network that was made specifically so that the former Republican president has somewhere to post and so that his supporters can post memes for him? that doesn't sound very enticing to the majority of people

5
Barbs 5 points ago +5 / -0

I stopped worrying about my phone number after the 10,000th “tooth whitening” spam text, and Oprah apparently has a diet she wants to sell me too.

Our phone numbers are no secret, and if you let that stand in your way then you’re give up way too easily. Shit, I’ve had to confirm my phone number several times just because I either follow too many new people at once, or I act too much like a “bot” because I’m liking several conservative’s posts in a row.

So I confirm it and keep doing my thing. I’m not letting that bullshit prevent me from participating.

1

He's convinced conservatives he's one of them despite the fact that he's been running around the world for a decade shilling for the Climate Hoax.

Everything he espouses here shows how he thinks the government should be used to "coerce" behavior that fits into globalist agenda.

Elon is fine for what he's doing. He deserves recognition for a lot of things. He also deserves criticism for other things, like his claims to fighting for free speech while being unwilling to talk about Alex Jones.

1
War_Hamster 1 point ago +2 / -1

How about the fact that he shows up at every single globalist conference?

Or that he's the descendent of the head of the Canadian Technocrat Party?

2

First, I don't give a shit who he's the descendant of. Second, he's one of the most successful global businessmen on the planet. Of course he's at the conferences. It's shady, and I don't care. You act like I'm throwing support behind the dude, when I'm just appreciating the memes he's posting.

0
War_Hamster 0 points ago +1 / -1

Not addressing you personally so much as the wave of pro-Elonism popping up for the obvious reasons.

Where he comes from, and his motivations, matter. What you see in front of you is a manufactured persona. If you take the time to look deeper, you'll see there's something to be wary of.

12
Treefreak1776 12 points ago +16 / -4

5
War_Hamster 5 points ago +12 / -7

6
Treefreak1776 6 points ago +7 / -1

Good point ☝️

1
Deadline 1 point ago +1 / -0

What dystopian vision? Serious question. I'm going to assume it's worse than basic futuristic ideas.

3
War_Hamster 3 points ago +3 / -0

Elon is a Technocrat. His maternal grandfather, and the family patriarch, was the head of the Canadian Technocrat Party. Many of his actions, affiliations, and statements lead one to believe he's very much onboard.

The Technocrats were big in the 1930's, not too dissimilar to some of the worst of the Nazi programs. They wanted a world where the scientists controlled all of human activity through science and data.

It was a futuristic version of totalitarianism (communism) then, but the technology is almost here now.

I'd be very concerned and look into this history if I were you.

More than happy to provide sources if you're curious.

2
Deadline 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sure I'll take a look, provided it's not like a long series of full books I need to read. I will say though, just because his grandfather was a technocrat and Elon is into future tech, it doesn't mean he's into enslaving humanity. Usually he talks about how dangerous this technology will be if not handled carefully.

I will also say that although I am currently pretty pro Elon/Twitter, I am skeptical of all things at all times. Every day I think of ways he might be laying a very elaborate trap, but suspicion isn't enough for me to aid the left and attack the only source of real help we've seen in a while in the culture war we're in.

I need more than maybe to turn on him like so many here have right from the start, though I could settle for extremely probable. Even then, he's still a beneficial ally right now.

2
War_Hamster 2 points ago +2 / -0

Reasonable response.

This Corbett Report video lays out most of my argument relatively succinctly, if you consider 1 hour succinct.

7
ShrikeDeCil 7 points ago +7 / -0

Elon won't say anything on global warming.

Even if he disagrees with it up and down the list, he won't.

He really wants to go to Mars. This is pretty much his core live-driving dream. Every single one of his companies has a core aspect that says "That would be awesome ... on Mars".

People laugh at things like the cybertruck - but realize this is going to end up with millions of hours of off-road AI data .

Or the Boring Company. "You know, that's within the payload-and-size limit of Starship..."

He's basically been finding ways to do all the things NASA should have been doing for decades ... and getting paid/making money doing it. We've long forgotten one other company was a solar power tower. Which would and did not work ... here But acres of mylar and a stone pillar .... on Mars ...

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +8 / -4

He's had plenty to say about Global Warming. Easy search on YouTube.

You may be correct on the rest.

6
ShrikeDeCil 6 points ago +6 / -0

I mean from the "Climate Happens, and man isn't doing all that much to it" perspective.

His arguments (that I'm aware of) are from the "We have to get the hell off this planet before it dies!" perspective.

That perspective happens to hype the need for ... going to Mars. He will not will not distract from that intentionally.

1
SelfEvidentMAGA 1 point ago +3 / -2

He will go down as a fluke interesting character unless he actually cements his legacy and changes humanity in some way, I wouldn't say "most important". Dudes a legend but come on. I guess his role will only be known in the future but we have had plenty of "unorthodox" figures throughout history. I just hope Trump can achieve something substantial. Edit: He changed modern politics I guess. Woke more people up. But compared to ancient history stuff like this has happened before

But if he's serious about becoming President again, he WILL have to come back when he starts revving up his campaign. If he doesn't...that's a serious problem.

Amused at how downvoted you're getting over that comment, when it is the biggest truth this website should face.

On Monday, MTG is a shill and we hate her. On Tuesday, she's our girl. On Wednesday, Fox News has banned Trump therefore we stop supporting them. On Thursday, half of the posts in the Hot page are links to Fox News articles, under the argument of "they keep my 80 year old grandpa informed".

You know, when the left makes something "illegal" per say, they go all hive mind against it. When the right makes something illegal, that's only for 24 hours lol.

While I really like your solid, calm reasoning, I fear the whole thing is a Deep State-directed trap. Like Mao's 'Let a hundred flowers bloom' honeypot. And besides that, I think Musk is simply using our President to make money - Trump onboard with Twitter would represent huge financial value.

Anyways... President Trump is staying on TruthSocial. Which is a good thing!

He's also just bought a huge database for his AI/Transhumanist project.

And he needs conservatives to use it so that he has human thought to study. Un-banning Trump encourages them to do exactly that.

Trump has 4 million followers on Truth. 83mm on Twitter. Makes no sense to ignore the platform since it has new ownership.

GuerillaYourDreams 4 points ago +4 / -0

He'll return. He's running for office.

Klaus73 5 points ago +5 / -0

I mean if Trump is serious about winning 2024 then he needs the exposure.

I am starting to wonder if Trumps investors were set up to quarantine him on Truth Social.

He signed the exclusivity contract with TS last year when Twitter was still firmly in leftist control. Elon didn’t even think about buying Twitter until like April, so this is a completely new development that wasn’t even on GEOTUS’ radar last December.

We’ll have to see how this plays out, because keeping his message confined to TS isn’t going to help him build momentum, and a wrecking ball needs a ton of it.

While Twitter being bought by Elon might not have been on the radar; the idea of chaining Trump in a bubble away from the mainstream is not exactly new as there are a bunch of other platforms and to get the word out he needs to be on as many as possible. By catering to his ego and offering money they may have tricked him into building his own cage.

Trump is so based that he gives zero fucks that he set a world record by getting 100 million followers overnight. Absolute Giga Chad

MAGAsJustBegun 3 points ago +7 / -4

Omg, I can't believe there are THIS MANY TOTAL IDIOTS.

A reinstated account is restored WITH its previous followers.

It's like if you get banned on FB and then restored months later, you still have your friends and posts.

Vince 0 points ago +3 / -3

Wrong.... I had to re-follow him after he got unbanned. So did everyone else.

4
ObamasLooseButthole 4 points ago +4 / -0

He isn't wrong. Reinstated accounts do take time to get their followers back but they do come back. Just because you re-followed before all of his followers were back doesn't make you right.

My account got reinstated and I had 0 followers when it happened, went back a few days later and they were all back.

2
MAGAsJustBegun 2 points ago +2 / -0

No, not wrong. It's because it takes time for it to be fixed. It isn't instant.

If you actually believe 85+million people followed Trump overnight you're really ignorant.

That's fricking hilarious. I am really liking Elon. He ain't bad for a globalist shill.

raptormissle 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm convinced Elon is either a comedy genius or he has a crack team.

4
turdinthepunch 4 points ago +4 / -0

Trump should post a screen shot of Ashley Biden's diary.

4
NewUser101 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think Elon got some historical logs regarding engagement and realized Trump directly and indirectly drove huge amounts of traffic in and through the platform. I bet it's a fucking stark comparison in a run chart before/after his ridiculous ban.

GOOD MORNING, ESPECIALLY TO ALL THE HATERS AND LOSERS

ProductConnoisseur 3 points ago +3 / -0

He gets about 10% of Twitter likes on Truth. Foolish is the only rational way to describe his reluctance to tap that exposure.

Not to mention he needs to also be persuading those not already on his side, not just bouncing stuff off old supporters.

3
wokemustdie 3 points ago +3 / -0

For now he should just delay-post. During the campaign though he will need to post all campaign stuff to twitter. And once president he should remove all executive social media accounts on all platforms that don't respect free speech.

3
FLIBS 3 points ago +3 / -0

I bet... Delay posting would give Truth even more attention... As people may sign up on truth to hear it first. i bet 98% of his followers on Twitter don't even know of truth platform.

It's better if he doesn't post for now. It fucks with all them.

3
Nibba 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah but if he does post now… imagine how silly people would get over it. It’d be hilarious. He could just post Hi. And a rifle wave of faggots would swarm him like he just shook a box of bees.

3
MythArcana 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don't see it happening until election season warms up.

He needs to stand behind his own Truth. He will be lured in on Twitter to go on the defense most of the time. I don't know why people think it will be any different on Twitter this time around. 2020 election was exactly like 2022, it was a set up, more harassment, lying, cheating and bullying. If Trump does tweet in the future, Elon can ban him again. At least have Elon sign a contract for your, meaning Trump terms, as well as his terms.

BaronFalcon 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep, got a good chuckle from that one

Still over 70K Trump supporters banned since 2016. I'll stick with Truth Social.
