Trump released a financial statement. Under legal advice he didn’t release his taxes because he was under audit. If there had been anything potentially illegal in there Obama’s IRS would have found it. Mueller had access to those as well.

I think this is the sort of thing that would have been no big deal to him, but they made such a fuss over it he kept it going. Trump is basically making the dog chase its tail.

I've said this from the start. He knows his taxes are fine and there are no legal issues so denying it to the D's makes them flip out and want them more because even though they know there isn't anything there they can't allow anyone to openly defy them. Trump has milked far more worth out of making them bend over backwards to find some way to publicly display them than simply giving them up and daring them to find something illegal. This will be another case of 'leaked' info saying Trump is a crook and defrauded the government to play out for a few days as media headlines until shot down. But of course thats the entire point. Get those hit pieces out hot and heavy so that when the inevitable retractions come the news cycle has moved on and no one cares. The silver lining is that the only people falling for this shit at this point are the true believers and vote blue no matter who crowd and they only make up around 20% of the population maybe less.

It's his right even as a presidential candidate. There is no legal requirement to show your taxes to run for president. It's been a tradition to show they are open to scrutiny. This is why nothing ever came of it past endless hit pieces which again is what they were after. They knew full well too that Trump most likely wouldn't turn them over willingly.

I'm talking about Biden. Someone said, well he released his tax returns so we should illegally allow Congress to do so with Trump to even the playing field.

Well, Biden has already been found guilty of tax evasion, funneling 100s of millions of Bribes through Hunter and Jim Biden's phony businesses, even though the DOJ hasn't prosecuted.. They have Hunter on tax evasion and wire fraud but he was doing it for the crime family. Biden didn't report any of his 10% on his income taxes.

Crashing supply chains and incoming hard recession will make sustainability impossible. Hard times are coming like it or not as the worlds economies are in terminal freefall at this point. It simply started from such a high place its going to take a while before it hits the ground and explodes. Record low crop yields added into the mix are also going to make for something Americans have not dealt with since the great depression. Limited access to the foods they want which atm are still an easy trip to their favorite market because we are still eating last years crops. When shit starts to get scarce and you have to shop multiple stores multiple times a week to get what you need? Yeah we are almost there.

But thats not true. I'm talking about open rebellion. We are no where near that point yet. But we are still fighting and winning by taking the slower route of peaceful change. Every new election the D's lose more and more state and local seats of power and more and more people abandon them. They are losing less in congress and the senate but its still losses. The trick is going to be surviving as a nation until we complete the purge. This is why they are so hell bent on driving a real hot shooting conflict now while they still have the power to force the military to side with them. This is changing and changing fast. Bannon said that a peaceful changing of the powers that be would be at least a decade long endeavor and I believe him. We are about half way through that. I mean other than the blue states willingly going along with the admin where else are they actually enforcing their commie shit? Red states either ignore them or block them in court as was shown all through covid. Nearly all the real suffering from covid was in a handful of deep blue states and the lions share was between cali and new york. Plus name any of the insane legislation the D's have been trying to push through since 2018 that has crossed the presidents desk to sign? Nothing I can think of past the covid graft bills where they borrowed trillions. But as to actual laws and legislation its been nothing but defeat after defeat for them. Nah we will win this in the end if we hold true.

As a small business owner you pay payroll, capital gains, income tax and then property or sales tax in your state. If you work 2 years, you’ll have to give almost a year of your labor to the government to pay off your debt and this is with a “reasonable” tax rate that Biden is trying to do away with. After you pay your health insurance and mortgage, whatever you have left will be wiped out from inflation unless you have a good hedge against it, but that typically requires buying land or owning a business which gives the gov more control over taxing you. It’s designed so poors don’t realize that everything they work for will be reclaimed by the government one way or another to keep them from being able to leave behind anything meaningful to their children. It’s not as obvious as it should be because the IRS tries to hide how much they screw you as much as possible so they can screw you even harder. most people think that they’re fixing potholes but almost all of your money is just going to drugs, Chinese prostitutes and politicized agencies that spy on you and call you and your family domestic terrorists, that’s what makes it theft

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 5 ▼
– ObamasLooseButthole 5 points 73 days ago +5 / -0

So do they not pay taxes at all or is there eventually a cash in day where all the owed taxes are due? A tax postponement.

It could be on your death bed and no longer your problem sure but are you saying Uncle Sam is left with no taxes from you or your estate, or he gets his due eventually and can wait you out indefinitely until either the country goes away first or you.

Deduct the shit out of everything.

Really though you don't. Guys at Trump's level pay lots of taxes, but they are paid in full and so they get a zero dollar statement. This is the source of the "Trump pays no taxes" false claim. Sure you can have some years where you write off some big losses (like Trump had) and you still overpaid to be safe (like Trump did) and you get a refund (like anyone who overpays).

Don Lemonsucker was actually correct when he got pissed over the $750 structure. Trump purposely underpaid by $750 just so he'd get a bill for it because he knew how many fucking idiots would fall for it thinking that's all he owed for the year.

You work to pay taxes.

If you don’t pay taxes to those who r…..represent you, who promise to use those taxes for inner and outer security, they are able to put you in a jail cell.

If you don’t work and cross the border illegally, you don’t contribute to society and break the law. They will pamper you and give you the money of those who are forced to work and forced to pay those taxes….

He probably had to pay off the Mob in New York.

Before Rudy Giuliani, New York City was run by the mob, so if you wanted to do business there you had to pay the mob.

So it’s likely Trump had to pay money to the mob.

A man's privacy and financial information should not be paraded out in public. Trump is just as entitled to his privacy as anyone else. The only reason they want that information is so they can use it to go after him and everyone associated with him. There is other reason, no other purpose, they just want to destroy him because he revealed the swamp creatures.

Prepared by Trump accountants, reviewed by Trump attorneys, then audited by a public accounting firm. Next, audited by the IRS.

His tax returns are a mcguffin he's been having his enemies chase for years. But in the end, the Black Bird is not made of gold.

It's still information to spin a narrative. Which is how it'll be used.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– uniformist 2 points 73 days ago +2 / -0

Yep. When they're leaked to the press, they'll pick over them trying to find a damaging narrative to spin.

Probably will find that during some of the real estate crashes he clawed back taxes from prior years, or got credits. They'll try to spin that. Probably a lot of "he valued this building up, then down, then up again."

They need to be careful, though. The one time Rachel Maddow got ahold of a page of a 1040 and reported in serious tone, "Trump paid $29 million in taxes." The response of the public was, "Wow, $29 million is a lot to pay in taxes."

But the Left's dream of finding "money laundering" via his tax returns is not going to happen. The left must think you just look at lines 37 - 39 of the 1040 to find reported money laundering.

Trumps tax returns are going to be long and complex. Even very smart people would spent a long time figuring them out. Reporters are not very smart people.

Trump doesn't do his own taxes. He pays good money to have certified accountants/tax specialist/tax attorneys complete his returns for his perusal, and signature. The people who provide that service to Trump, also provide it to plenty of other people, probably Hollywood liberals, Democrat and Republican politicians, no doubt. If they want to stay in business, they won't be conducting any hanky-panky with anyone's tax returns.

If there was anything in Trump's taxes, it would have been leaked by now. This is just a way for the MSM and dem to cherry pick line items and claim tax evasion. So just a bunch more of accusing someone else of their sins. Nothing new here. Now that SCOTUS has set legal precedent, Joe and Jill's taxes are now on the table for the house investigations. That is, if GOP.inc actually does a damn thing. I won't hold my breath.

– Dirk_Diggler 1 point 73 days ago +1 / -0

There is nothing to fish for. In any given year, I am sure he has paid more in taxes in one year than most of us will ever gross in our lives.

All this did was set bad precedence, you know like the raid. If there was anything he didn’t pay, the IRS will get their pound of flesh. There is literally no reason for people to have their tax returns fumble fucked through by bureaucrats.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– BringTheCat789 1 point 72 days ago +1 / -0

That won't stop them from trying.

Mind you, they don't need to find something illegal. Something that is totally legal that they can convince the public is illegal will suffice. With our pozz'd courts, they may even have a chance of conviction. But even if they don't, the media will spin it enough that the public will be against him.

If you liked this Trump Tax Return you'll love 2022's where Trump writes off all the expenses necessary to return Mar-a-Lago to its pre-FBI molestation state.

Here's a few of the line-item expenses:

  • Steam cleaning all floors & carpeting touched by the booger-eating twinks.

  • Replacement of compromised toilets. (Usage and toilet-phones)

  • Removal & replacement of all wall materials

  • Replacement of all electrical and light switch receptacles

  • Replacement of all lighting

  • Replacement of Melania's violated clothing

  • Replacement of Baron's violated clothing

Remember when he said he utilized the loopholes because he's smart? And that he knows the swamp won't get rid of them because they all use the same loopholes?

Trump is an honest man.
