Is it possible there just wasn't enough evidence to hold him?
They evacuated an entire neighborhood, and there was a several-hour standoff with police before he finally surrendered, all the while he continued to threaten that he was going to blow up the house and who knows what else... This wasn't some mother said, he said case, this was a big deal that involved many police and a several hours long standoff and evacuation of an entire neighborhood, that is PLENTY enough evidence to get a conviction for many things including a bomb threat or at minimum to have him committed to a mental hospital that would have instantly made him a prohibited person at the Federal level!
all the while he continued to threaten that he was going to blow up the house and who knows what else
This wasn't some mother said, he said case
What witnesses heard him say this stuff other than the mom? Was it on tape?
The police and anyone watching the Facebook live stream as well as the stream itself? He was involved in an hours-long standoff surrounded by police and was live streaming it, what part of that did you miss in my previous reply?
Yeah, it's a CNN link but anyway, it shows part of his live stream on Facebook while inside the house, where he threatens to blow it up during the standoff...
