I don’t want off this wild ride.

Thank you God for every day.

Listened to Kanye since I was a kid so this is extra crazy for me.

What is happening 😂

ElectricHaarp 78 points ago +81 / -3

I hear that. Been a fan of him for a while, and the people who get what he’s all about know that he’s good for the culture. It’s so mind boggling seeing him meet with Trump.

Best time line.

StoryTimeHour 34 points ago +34 / -0

Big fan here for a long time. I mostly listen to 40's-70's music as my main preference, though I do enjoy musical artists through broader eras. That being said, there are a lot of people on here that post the meme of "why is music so bad now", and those people really need to open up to Ye. Ye is conducting a symphony of eras of music rather than musicians. The vulgarity of his lyrics until Jesus is King may be offensive, but I find it excusable with the poetry and relevance of the lyrics. If you love older music, you will be surprised when you hear some of it reimagined in a whole new light.

Donda is truly one of his best albums and ABSOLUTELY reinforces many of the themes discussed and shared here.

"Stood on my six points, how could I not rise?

Love, truth, peace, justice, freedom, but I'm not five"

"but I'm not five" generally referring to the George Floyd riots/general violent unrest by Leftists who claim to stand for Love, Turth, Peace, Justice and Freedom, but act like they are five fucking years old.

StoryTimeHour 19 points ago +19 / -0

Is hip-hop just a euphemism for a new religion?

The soul music of the slaves that the youth is missing

But this is more than just my road to redemption

Malcolm West had the whole nation standing at attention

As long as I'm in Polo smiling, they think they got me

But they'd try to crack me if they ever see a Black me

I thought I chose a field where they couldn't sack me

If a nigga ain't shootin' a jumpshot, runnin' a track meet

But this pimp is at the top of Mount Olympus

Ready for the world's games, this is my Olympics

this one always gets me

DMX was painted as out of his mind while talking about the satanism of music production

it makes you wonder how quickly they can tighten the lips of rappers using money as the needle and thread

NewGaslighterInChief 19 points ago +20 / -1

And how many rappers have come out and said they didn't make it in the business because they weren't willing to BOTTOM for producers?

A few.

Then you see some of these guys like Lil Nas X and Lil Xan and uhhh yeah, it begins to make sense.

Snipthetipandsip 10 points ago +10 / -0

The whole "gay rappers" conspiracy is one hell of a rabbit hole.

Pepelosi 5 points ago +5 / -0

DMX soooooooooooo underrated. X gonna give it to ya!!!

UrShulgi 5 points ago +5 / -0

I luckily got to see him on tour shortly before he died of the clot shot.

MerlynTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

who tackled Trump?

Snipthetipandsip 5 points ago +6 / -1

The old argument of modern music being bad is just false. The reality is: there is tons of music being created by independent artists all over the world that fit into a wide verity of genres. They're just not being propped up by main stream top 40. The thing is, people have to take a chance on something, and 9/10 they won't unless they find it on their own.

For instance; if you enjoy funk music, I'd highly recommend listening to "The Motet".

Jacurutu99 1 point ago +1 / -0

True...and many should take a look at what Kanye samples. For the most part it is all the classic sound, albeit presented in a way you won't recognize at first.

chez_blunts -2 points ago +2 / -4

When it comes to Kanye's actual music, I don't like anything after MBDTF. My favorites of his being College Dropout, Late Registration, and MBDTF.

Dukearchus 7 points ago +7 / -0

You should give Jesus is king another shot. Everything we need ,God Is, fantastic songs. (Coming from a non-Christian btw)

Redpilling just to get by

Stack those tendies

till they get sky highhhhh

Wasn’t supposed to win before ‘25

Took the house back we still alive.

Throw your hands up in the sky and say:

StoryTimeHour 14 points ago +14 / -0

always nice to see Kanye fans on here that have followed throughout all the media madness

I have been a fan since College Dropout dropped and he has become of a bit of a Trump figure to me - every time there was a controversy, I felt like he was speaking to a deeper truth that I didn't quite understand

It was fun that /r/Kanye was a ambiguous place on reddit for a while where counter culture thrived on supporting his abjective statements

Sad to see the tides have turned over there with the moderation since Pete

That being said, it will be interesting to see how the DJT/Jared relationship progresses going forward

trumpORbust 2 points ago +2 / -0

Fuck ((Jared))

I hope he rubs off on Trump, because Kushner has been a thorn in MAGA's side since day one.

Donger-Lord2 58 points ago +60 / -2

Luckily fuckface kushner and ivanka didn’t show up to President Trump’s anoucement for his candidacy, they seem to be out of the picture.

Edit: it seems to be fuckface kushner WAS there but ivanka wasn’t.

MyDogBlondi 25 points ago +26 / -1

We can only hope.

BeardedNinjaPede 12 points ago +12 / -0

Ivanka wrote a letter saying she wouldn't be part of his 2024 campaign. It's definitely a good thing as far as I can tell.

MyDogBlondi 3 points ago +4 / -1

EvolutionIsFake 5 points ago +5 / -0

As far as Kanye running, he’ll have to face the Democratic machine again. They hire elite fraud promoting election lawyers like Marc Elias. They were able to remove the green party from the ballot in many places, and fought to remove them in even more. Same with Kanye in 2020. Lawsuits took him off the ballot in many states.

This is part of their effective winning strategy, to remove candidates from the ballot that might siphon Democrat votes away

TheGreyMouse 3 points ago +3 / -0

Trump/Kanye is an interesting ticket.

EvolutionIsFake 2 points ago +2 / -0

Kanye is an amateur and a major liability. Not a chance this would happen with trump

DonuteaterReturns 9 points ago +10 / -1

Good. Hope he names and shames AIPAC next. It's a foreign lobbying organization, how is that legal?

QLARP 8 points ago +9 / -1

Kusher showed up

Donger-Lord2 4 points ago +5 / -1

But ivanka didn’t, I see.

FinishTheBorderWall 5 points ago +5 / -0

Kushner was in the front row!

Donger-Lord2 2 points ago +3 / -1

I was mistaken, kushner was there but Ivanka wasn’t.

Monzie 2 points ago +2 / -0

They think he's tainted goods now cause muh J6.

Maga2020Maga2020 18 points ago +18 / -0

Both Ivanka and Jared are lame as fuck and should be no where near Trump when he makes any decision.

Ye lost 1.5 of his 2 billion in one day. So yeah he's an ex billionaire... for now.

Modernturnkey 0 points ago +1 / -1

How exactly? Who took 1.5 billion dollars from him?

spezisacuckold 4 points ago +5 / -1

It’s more accurate to say a decrease in net worth

Schweddynadz 3 points ago +4 / -1

His fashion design contracts were where his net worth was derived from. They were worth apparently 1.5 billion. It was Adidas and others who dropped him but it was the tribe that orchestrated it.

memechallenger33 54 points ago +54 / -0

LOL. Gotta love him. I'm sure Trump said, may the best man win!

TommyLasordasBallBag 27 points ago +27 / -0

The two most polarizing people in the last 8 years. Trump challenged the swamp, Ye challenged their financiers.

QLARP 4 points ago +5 / -1

No he said don't run as independent your fans are young and red pilled now

deleted 2 points ago +3 / -1

Downgrading to Deathcon 4

ObamasLooseButthole 20 points ago +21 / -1

I hope not, Kanye's noticing arc has been absolute gold in so many ways. I hope he rubbed off on Trump if anything lol.

QuickHands 11 points ago +11 / -0

I think people are forgetting that Kanye spoke out, loudly, years ago about a desire to produce Yeezy shoes stateside

Two words: Made in America

This was years before the relationship with Adidas fell through, and they were likely the ones telling Kanye his paycheck would get cut the deepest if they produced Yeezys in the USA, and that adidas wasn't willing to take less payment. If he went from profiting $20-50 per shoe all the way down to $3 or so, welp, there goes that idea.

Now adidas isn't in the way, so Kanye went to the Great MAGA King to ask for guidance on how, when, where, why they could perhaps collaborate on producing not just Yeezy shoes but other products, maybe even Trump products as well, here in America

....and yes maybe along the way VSGPOTUS let him know to maybe tone it down just a scoche!

This dude is crazy but the ride is kinda fun.

OrangeApple 34 points ago +37 / -3

Dude is crazy smart. He's very aware of what's been going on. His comments are skewed to appear crazy from the media, but if listening to his point of view, I'd agree with him on many of his comments.

9358h98wh4go 12 points ago +14 / -2

His Netflix documentary was pure propaganda at the end, trying to call him crazy, he just talks in the abstract.

BigIronBigIron 3 points ago +7 / -4

He is Salvation Army piss-bum crazy, but he also knows the inner machinations of Hollywood and the entertainment industry so...

BlackPillBot -2 points ago +6 / -8

Dude is crazy smart.

🤣 not sure if serious.

I don’t hate him, and I think he’s a useful tool that definitely isn’t the dullest one in the shed, especially in his demo/profession, but he’s far from crazy smart, let alone smart. Y’all really need to stop embarrassing yourself with the blatant, and extreme simping for blacks just because they say something that’s beyond obvious, and has already been said/done by much more qualified, and well meaning whites a thousand times over in the past. The shit is getting beyond cringey now.

Modernturnkey 1 point ago +3 / -2

Why the fuck are you being shit on, you're absolutely right.

BlackPillBot 0 points ago +2 / -2

You know why fren.😞

Skogin 18 points ago +18 / -0

Eccentric and well intentioned.

QLARP -12 points ago +5 / -17

Hr did have a manic episode running around screaming about killing himself. Everyone was scared and they called an ambulance.

QuickHands 14 points ago +15 / -1

False you fuckface lying bitch Anaconda/PraiseBeToScience/RedditSuxAss, that was that asshole Jewish Personal Trainer who admitted he was the one who had Kanye held at the hospital, and threatened to do it again if Kanye didn't do what he said

Are you ever not a bitch? Seriously.

QLARP -2 points ago +1 / -3

The medical episode happened even kanye and the 3rd witness all agree it happened.

TheCullTrain 1 point ago +4 / -3

Okay. Your point? It's very telling when you need to cite medical history to refute data presented by an individual. If he said 2+2=4, would you be trying to advertise his past struggles with mental health?

QLARP -1 points ago +1 / -2

No I am refuting someone who said he wasn't crazy.

Not your stupid Jewish question stuff

fuckoffspez 11 points ago +11 / -0

And yet, 1000 times the cognition of the current occupant of the Oval Office.

Imagine a Ye presidency. I Kan, and it looks good to me.

BlackPillBot -5 points ago +1 / -6

The enemy of my enemy is not my fren, but he’s a nice distraction to my immediate imminent threats that may weaken them while, more importantly, giving me time to get my house in proper order.

Mountaineer 25 points ago +29 / -4

BlackPillBot 0 points ago +5 / -5

Yeah, but the closer he gets to Trump, the less likely he is to continue doing that.

TrumpWon762 1 point ago +2 / -1

God, I hope you're wrong....

....but good things seem to always be short-lived.

alxhsa 22 points ago +22 / -0

Kyrie folded. Ye didn't. He doubled down. Respect.

People don’t understand Ye. He’s been in the industry a long time. He’s seen some shit. It is crazy shit. He talks about the crazy shit so people call him the crazy one. He’s a reliable witness to the bullshit. I think we should respect that. Vote for him in 2024? No. Let him discuss with Trump the people that are causing him problems which are also the same people that Trump aims to please is a good thing.

Itstreasonthen 5 points ago +5 / -0

You know what? I’m starting to like this Kanye fellow.

hillaryprison 5 points ago +6 / -1

He might be a little nuts but he's way more coherant than senile Joe who wasn't even elected. Not even democrats liked him much in all his years of living off our tax dollars.

Empty_Brain 4 points ago +4 / -0

The name is ye

snifferno 5 points ago +5 / -0

He will always me Mr. West to me lol

That's enough, Mr. West, please no more today.

ceremony_ 4 points ago +5 / -1

Why doesn't Trump invite Alex Jones to his place?

Trump has been on Alex Jones' show before.

Maybe it's because of Alex's criticism of his pro-vaccine position?

snifferno 4 points ago +4 / -0

Trump would loose a lot of normie votes if he did that I think not to mention how the media would run with shit like that, not saying the same result might happen with Kanye though.

TeachersUnionsSUCK 4 points ago +4 / -0

Can’t wait for Ye’s album: Inauguration

turdinthepunch 3 points ago +5 / -2

No kanye. No.

LatitudeofMind 3 points ago +3 / -0

If he wants to strike a real blow he needs to drop the candidacy thing and full blown campaign with kid rock and others via a freedom tour / trump 2024

Kaizen 3 points ago +4 / -1

Nay of course. 2020 needs to be fixed first. And with all the hoax POTUS experienced in 2016, Ye is only able to run starting from 2032 after the Orange Man has served his term fully.

bucketofpoop -3 points ago +2 / -5

Ye VP. Unless you're saying you want Pence reinstated too ..

madeaprofilejustforu 3 points ago +5 / -2

Based. Would vote for this. Based based based.

CentralAmericanPede 3 points ago +13 / -10

I think he should run in 2028 with Trump as VP. I like him more than DeSantis.

Donger-Lord2 12 points ago +16 / -4

Ron DeSanctimonious can go fuck himself.

BeardedNinjaPede 3 points ago +3 / -0

If Trump wins 2024, he wouldn't be eligible to be VP in 2028.

Foletado 0 points ago +2 / -2

Maybe Kanye would get the black vote out.

If Kari Lake does not become governor of Arizona, she would be available and a good candidate, I think.

Trump needs to steer clear of Kanye as a running mate. That would ruin his chances, in my opinion.
