An asterisk indicates a company has issued a statement or was publicly reported as stopping its ads on Twitter and subsequently confirmed. Otherwise, companies identified on this list are “quiet quitters".
The ones I recognized, I'm already boycotting.
time for me to move money out of fidelity.
Direct Register Shares! Everything you own through a broker is an IOU. Their terms say they can sell your shares at any point they want.
If you use a broker then you don't really own your shares. DRS is the way to own your shares in your name.
Start voting your shares too.
Read up on r/Superstonk, the DD section. Even if you don't think GameStop will pop off they can teach you how the stock market really works. It's sick how they steal from us.
never knew that, thanks. ill look into drs
I think GameStop is going to be the financial arm of the plan.
They have been naked short selling. Meaning they make a short sale as an IOU and they don't actually barrow a share. This means there are millions of shares that are sold but don't correlate to a real share.
So once the squeeze starts because of a margin call the price is going to go to the moon. There are APEs that say they will only sell one share for millions of dollars only after Ken Griffin and crew are in a jail cell. They will keep the rest of their shares because it looks like the NFT market place will be the new stock market after the collapse.
No cell, no sell.
The diamond handed APEs are saying they won't sell untill $100,000,000 per share is reached. the Fed is ultimately on the hook for all the money that will be needed to cover this.
That is where the real hyper inflation starts. As soon as I have my money from MOASS I'm dumping it into my mortgage, gold & silver, and DWAC.
That's my plan at least.
Jokes on them I can't afford any of this shit anymore.
Same. I guess I was right wing all along when I thought I was Left?
As a Dutch pede, you would expect me to drink Heineken ... but irony has it I'm non-alcoholic. Have been all my life. So, there's that. I hardly drink sugar-filled soda's too. Now I wonder whether Lipton is part of the Coca Cola Company too.
I agree with this but I also think there is more to the story for many of these companies and more info is needed. I'm in the business of advertising and specifically on digital. I own a large multimillion dollar agency that handles many of the top brands you've heard of. We are contracted to manage their digital media buys. We rarely engage with Twitter and see it as a last resort to spend money. I'd be willing to bet this was used a catalyst to say fuck'it and cut the cord from Twitter. It generates nothing but impressions which we found out much of those were fake. I would use this as an excuse to pull ad revenue and put it where it's more effective. This is a spot Twitter needs to fix. Everyone from fortune 100's to single man drain cleaning companies need to be able to place ads easily on this platform and deliver those ads to real eyeballs for it's success. Musk, if you're on here I'd be happy to lend a hand. For a small fee of course ;)
Digital marketer here as well. Can confirm. Twitter has always been trash, untargeted CPM based advertising.
As a side note, it's nice to see another pede-marketer is out there controlling ad budgets. Rare in our world. 🍻
I am also in the biz. But my company does more than digital. They do ad-space for tv, radio (LF, SF, etc), as well. I suspect this company is pretty woke. It’s good to see there are based companies out there.
Marketing Finance is a growing area for good reason. There is so much waste.
Hey friend. Hope ya don’t mind. You hiring by any chance? Not for myself but my daughter currently works for a company (a huge US marketing company) that has been recently bought out by a mega woke global conglomerate that participates in the WEF, and tried to force vax her. (Her exemption app is currently “being evaluated”). Her specific expertise is in email marketing, and she’s been told she’s extremely valuable by both companies and has increased sales wherever she’s gone, but can do all variations of marketing. She’d LOVE to finally work for someone who’s based and especially a member of this great community! The only possible hitch is her work is from home, and she’s in FL. She doesn’t know I’m asking but I saw your post and figured it’s worth a shot. She plans on moving on after the new year…… thanks!
Curious - is it the same with facebook?
Facebook, even with their current tracking issues is far more effective at audience targeting than Twitter ever was. Far less bots from my experience as long as you don't use their audience expansion or partner networks.
Can confirm here as well in regards to Facebook. The people are still there and can be reached at a fair price. There are a decent amount of us marketers that are based from my experience. It's refreshing to see. We could almost start a thread of theories on how people are being influenced via our industry. There are only so many impressions in one day and if you have enough money (pharma, medical, insurance and last but not least government) you can buy all the eyeballs and leave very little for anything else. Have you ever looked at the 2013 NDAA and what was legalized in that act that funds the military? It's been in there since.
Seriously need to start a based marketer channel or something. Not sure where it could be housed but I'd love to compare notes with marketers who actually use their brains and don't follow the suggestions provided by the platforms to empty our clients pockets.
Thanks, I actually figured this would be the response.
One thing I’ve noticed as well is that a lot of companies are slashing their budgets heavily. These companies pulling out of twitter may have just been the final straw due to economic reasons as well.
I agree. Especially considering that, more broadly, advertisers are advertising less as the recession continues.
My Pillow can make up the difference
Thanks for reminding me I have to place my yearly order and have one sent to a bunch of Lefty relatives. It's hilarious because it's a great product and I know they Reeeeeee.
I am all stocked up on pillows. I wish Mike sold "My Ammo" so I could buy from him.
My Ammo would be so fckin awesome!
I'm in. Mike, you need to make this happen.
LOL. My pillow has excellent towels, by the way, I’m ordering more this year.
Shit man, thanks I didnt know and the wife just went and bought some towels yesterday for Black Friday. I was like....you endured that shit for towels? hahahah
Oh man! Tell her take em back and go with myPillow towels. They are the softest most absorbent towels I have ever owned!! I'll never buy a different brand! Just ordered 3 sets yesterday for Christmas gifts!
Thanks man, definitely will be buying some for gifts this year.
They do! We have two of the bath sheet size and they are quite nice.
Jeep is a brand of Stellantis, a company created when Chrysler Fiat and Peugeot merged.
Stalantis boycotted Twitter on November 10th, so you can put every car they manufacture on that list.
Opel, Maserati, Alpha Romeo, Dodge,...
Tesla?
Oh man, what if Elon’s plan was always to implement the Alex Jones business model but just at a larger scale? This is why AJ is still banned. Eventually every ad on Twitter will be for teslas, solar panels and all of elons other sweet prepper merch.
https://www.boringcompany.com/not-a-flamethrower
Tesla cars beat the big 3 for american content by miles.
Jeep had a rally for the gropist in chef. I got rid of mine and am done with Jeep. They should already be on the list. As well as Yum brands, coke and others. We should make signs for these guys like the stickers identifying them as speech deniers.
Never owned a Jeep but I considered buying one and from what I hear they've been doing a great job of alienating their traditional customer base since long before boycotting Elon's Twitter.
Diageo is a huge company that owns brands like Guinness, Johnny Walker, Tanqueray, Moet, etc.
If you ever see me in a chevy or ford help me because I'm clearly being held against my will.
I’m happy to say I only patronize one of those companies occasionally. Bye bye, Chipotle.🌯 You won’t be missed 😏
Actually that is the only one that truly disappoints me. One of the only brands that tried to bring better quality food to fast food.
Except for all those times they poisoned people.
That’s because illegals shit in the fields when they work the crops.
Right on top of the lettuce.
Was gonna say that's what I associate with them is the something outbreak. Salmanella or E coli, I don't remember.
Sadly, as a great man once said, “everything woke turns to sh*t”
Yeah, it’s a shame that Transgender Burrito place needs to be boycotted now…
I’m supposed to help plan a large, six-figure contract for a convention in the northeast. I will absolutely take Hilton and Marriott off my recommended list of sites.
Fucking kellogg. I called and made a complaint a year or so ago on why they were advertising on twitter since they were kicking people off but yet still kept the taliban on there talkjng shit. The lady on the phone said “sir we cant control that but there are still lots of good people that use the service and we are gonna advertise to them. FUCK YOU Kellogg
Kellogg's founder is also a reason the US has widespread, non-religiously-indicated male circumcision. https://intaction.org/history-of-circumcision/
Kellog's Frosted Foreskins, part of a healthy breakfast!
I have no problem not doing business with all but one of these companies, Verizon. If I'm going to have a cellphone, it needs to work wherever I go. Out in the woods, Verizon is the only one that works in my experience. Maybe that's changed in recent years? A little over a decade ago I shopped cost over quality and was pissed that buddy's phone worked in the duck blind while mine didn't. Since changing to Verizon, my phone works while buddies bitch they have no service on a snowmobile trail in the UP. A working phone in places like that could be the difference between life and death.
Don't ditch your phone. Retards like my in-laws dropped their cell service and have a landline.
A landline does you no good if you drive a POS and like taking road trips or commute for work. You'll be stuck in the middle of the desert with no one around for miles.
Get a satphone. Globalstar has good coverage in CONUS supposedly and the best prices for unlimited calls to non-satphones.
I'll have to check that out. I wonder if the daily use experience is the same. My phone also makes money.
It's not a smartphone, it only makes calls basically. But works wherever you can see the sky. There is a minimum 1 year contract and if you cancel it early you have to pay the rest. But there are firms that will rent you a satphone with unlimited minutes for short term so you can check it out.
Same here, my phone is my lifeline and without it I'd have major problems. They're all on the same team anyway. I believe that their is only one or 2 companies that have towers and the rest are middlemen that leech off the leftover bandwith.
I almost feel Verizon has a monopoly on rural usage. Urban areas seem to have the most choices. Not that I couldn't use Sprint or something else out here, it's just not reliable. There's a few bars/restaurants out here where most people don't get a signal unless they'rean 1/8th mile away, but Verizon works.
TMobile is leading nowadays in coverage and they are offering up to 1000$ for Black Friday week to pay off what you owe your current provider if you switch
They also have an arrangement with starlink. I think the CEO and Elon are buds
Label them anti-First Amendment companies.
Chipotle sucks ass.
Nobody really wants to hear from them anyways
LOL, Blackrock Inc.! Like they need to advertise.
I'm sure it's just a coincidence that most of these are WEF partners.
Ford, on the list.
Like every major foreign auto-maker: Not on list.
Fuck Ford and Jeep
$8 a month plus advertisers can easily be replaced.
Did you compile these or did you find this somewhere
https://slaynews.com/news/full-list-of-advertisers-boycotting-twitter-since-elon-musk-bought-social-media-platform/
Who here has Patriot Mobile? I have Verizon because where I live not much else works. If Patriot Mobile actually works here I'd love to switch. My experience with phone companies for back woods areas like mine is they'll tell you they work there but their idea of "working" is getting one fleeting bar that might allow you to send texts "eventually" and you'll have to climb a tree to make a phone call (that will still drop).
They're an AT&T MVNO. If AT&T has coverage, Patriot Mobile has coverage.
None of these companies surprise me.
Because they’re all the same company
Look at who holds the majority of their shares or (like in Dell's case) who backs their loans. Blackrock + Vanguard every time (usually 9% Blackrock, 5-6% Vanguard, and they act in unison on corporate matters). It's how they get control of companies without meeting the special rules required of a shareholder with 10% or more.
It's pretty cool because there's a lot of ad opportunity that just freed up on Twitter, so if you're doing an online business, or a company that has people with brains running their online org, it's basically an opportunity to secure a giant captive audience.
Seems like every brand involves itself in leftist communist policies, so do we have a list of those that don't?
Hobby Lobby?
So in addition to not supporting faggot twitter I've already not supported all of those. Good to know
Blackrock 😂👌🏻
Checks out. All the usual social justice crusading CEOs. We should have banned all these companies already.
Dodge it is.
I only use AT&T / Verizon.
And LinkedIn (free account)
I am not dropping my cell phone over anything.
Need it for work, Internet, and just in case my car dies and I get stuck in the middle of no where.
Surprised woke Gap Inc (Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy and Athleta) isn't on the list.
Kanye was right.
Ok. Spoon feed us links to customer complaint hotlines (web or phone or both).
I called coke and explained I was a restaurateur and family has always used their various products but no longer... I was polite but firm. A total lie, but hey its no holds barred time.
🤣
How do we get a list of companies that have not jumped ship??
Jeep, Ford, Chevy... lol
Fucking damn it. I own 2 jeeps and was gunna get a 3rd. Wtf man. What asshole clowns. I've had it. Anyone with a base company for suv now? Not that jeep was that base. I mean Fiat owned them now and they been moving their work to Mexico over the last 22 years. I was trying to stay American.
I'm looking for the same (wave 😔).
Cybertruck will seat 6
Can’t help but notice Pfizer isn’t on this list…
Only one of those I have to keep, the rest I either never heard of or already stopped supporting. Twitter will be fine
