The entire point of the bill is to be able to take away a churches tax exemption if they refuse to marry a gay couple in a full on religious ceremony. So as soon as this passes the house expect a rash of faggots going after churches like they did the baker who refused to make the dildo covered cake for the faggots.
That was my position years ago. Live and let live; keep government out of this.
And then the movement said "no, up yours, every state and every private group must accept gay marriage as a legal right or else, and we will intentionally ruin you if you defy us." I'm thinking for instance of the cake shop in Colorado, and of the programmer who invented Javascript and ran Mozilla until he got "caught" privately donating to a completely legal PAC that opposed changing the CA Constitution to allow gay marriage.
And then it got more extreme from there. I'm less sympathetic than I was before the reasonable demands turned into insane ones.
You do know that it’s a setup every time, right? Litigious faggots seek this. So, no, you can’t just say “lol sorry, faggot. I need to make a cake that looks like a can of Zyklon B and some wooden doors. Busy busy busy.”
They didn't let him politely say no -- so far as I know, he never cursed them out or anything. They sued him, and the moment the Supreme Court said it'd take the case, another group of protesters sued him, with the intention of never, ever ceasing to harass him until he got down on his knees and accepted he must actively support every leftist cause. So the situation isn't one where you can agree to "go about your day" if you're a business owner and you want to politely not participate in the LGBTP movement.
So to follow up on what I was saying, my inclination is to be libertarian and leave people alone, but that's being ruled out as an option. Same with abortion: I was more sympathetic toward allowing it before I saw some leftist refuse to say "yeah if the baby's born alive you obviously can't just kill it at that point". Same with race: I want to treat everybody equally but if the choice is to have my group be treated as superior or inferior, nothing in between, I'm not picking "inferior" willingly.
Life starts at conception. Repent and seek Christ.
If you actually knew the sordid details of how abortions are performed, you'd feel like vomiting and call for it to be banned everywhere, assuming you're a psychologically normal and empathetic person. That vulnerable child feels fear and a lot of pain.
So, they didn't sue him directly, but they had him sued for exercising his right to religious freedom, and you think this hair splitting detail matters?
Cake Baker should have had freedom of association. People discriminate about every little thing all day long. Who cares what you think he should have done?
Plenty of laws regarding ownership of firearms as well. Soon you could see regulation of hate speech, most western places have it. Doesnt make any of it constitutional or right.
Absolutely true. Thousand percent. I left such a church myself, and a denomination as a whole (Methodist). HOWEVER I finally found a real, true, unapologetic Christian church so I feel compelled to respond that they are still out there. Sadly few and far between, but still there --- and the kind who will be targeted by this legislation.
This is truly a sad development for Christian churches who haven't lost their way.
I had a former baptist preacher at my United Methodist Church when I was a boy, good guy. If we could hook up a generator to his casket, he'd be turning in his grave so much he'd be able to power at least 5 missions to Africa.
The United Methodist Church now is now into Sodom and Gomorrah. Jesus Christ himself could appear. tell the leaders of the church to repent from sodomy and they would look him square in the eye and tell him to fuck of and they'd start worshipping a golden calf.
Thank you for sharing. It’s certainly few and far between and especially in liberal hellholes. It’s where we need them the most but they often cave or are cratered by progressives in central govt.
No one- literally no one- cares what you or anyone else does in their bedroom.
What people care about is having what you do in your bedroom shoved in our face and our kids’ faces. And people do care about the government coming into their place of worship and telling them what they can and can not believe. If you don’t see how big of a problem this is, how scary it is, then you are not very bright.
I know the average IQ of the last two generations has fallen badly, but I guess I didn’t realize it had fallen this low that you can’t understand this concept.
But no- no one gives a shit what you do in your bedroom. Get over yourself.
It's not homophobic. Calling out wrong is what people are doing. Homosexuality is wrong. Its sinful depravity and its vile. People are fed up. People should have never been tolerant of sinful evil acts like homosexuality. Tolerance allowed this wrong to seep into every aspect of our society and once you allow evil of any kind any foothold it doesn't stop it spreads and corrupts. I am done tolerating sin.
Homosexuality has always been considered a level of perversion worthy of being killed. Not even 50 years ago, they were hunted down by a posse' of men and beaten to death. Better times.
There's no middle ground between good and evil and there's no such thing as "live and let live." If you don't put evil in check, it will come out to try to destroy you and everyone else.
The only benefits I could maybe get on board with are for producing children in a two parent household. I say maybe because I dont trust the government to dispense anything properly. That excludes homosexual relationships anyway.
We were talking marriage. Inheritance should have nothing to do with government. Without getting into what taxes should be legal taxes have already been paid multiple times on whatever money anyone would be inheriting. Where does the government come in?
They destroyed it when the state got involved with it in the first place. Millions of families have been destroyed since the court got in the divorce business. Fuck everything about this world we were born in... take me to the 1790-1850 period... I don't really need the antibiotics and efficient travel. Give me a homestead and tools.
Just incredible where their priorities are. Gay Sex. Every Senator who supported THE MITCH BITCH FOR LEADERSHIP NEEDS A PRIMARY CHALLENGE. If we lose LET THE RAT WIN .
They will just cheat again. Primary means absolutely nothing and the faster some of you realize that the better. 1776 is the only way forward. Always has been always will be.
You realize there's cheating to maintain the ESTABLISHMENT not to support either side specifically. That's why each side gets their "turn" as President.
The real church is in the home. It's believers gathered around the kitchen table reading scripture, eating meals together, looking out for each other, helping each other, and all pursuing discipleship with Jesus.
It's not in 501c3 organizations and expensive buildings with manicured lawns and a pastor who works two days a week.
If this passes, seeks to force churches to perform same sex ceremonies, and then SCOTUS does not immeadiately grant certiorari as soon as it comes up, I fear the worst will come even sooner than we already fear.
However, if the added language from yesterday remains, that "If approved, individuals or groups would not be legally required to provide services for a wedding ceremony or celebration if it's against their religious beliefs," then it may survive constitutionally
I would need to read the text of the bill to conclude that, but under general understanding as it relates to this, a church would have to continue its tax-exempt activity to avoid losing §501c3 status. That means they must continue to perform marriages, which under such amendme t would require only traditional marriages. Again I must read the text of the bill, after the amendments are through House process
The Bill doesnt have provisions to keep it in place. That means the text is missing. Text amending the bill to ensure this is not done has always been pushed down by the Left. There is no way the House will vote for any amendment including this language at this point.
The Federal Government also has done this before, which means historical precedent will preside.
Losing 501(c) status would be the best thing to happen to the Church. It would finally weed out the excuses for saying NOTHING about heretic politicians.
Part of what they challenged Obamacare on was a penalty for not having health insurance. They got around it by not calling it a penalty.
All I was saying is that even if the bill is changed to say that churches can't be punished for not doing gay weddings, they'll find a way to disuade churches from opting out and just call it something else so it's not technically punishment.
Another example would be when they "never forced anyone to take the vaccines" because they never put anything official on the books. They still found a way to force it on people without technically forcing people.
They play word games so they can do whatever they want and say they aren't doing it. Thinking that churches will be safe just because the bill says they can't be punished is setting yourself up to be disappointed.
How about the SCOTUS say that the Federal Government should have no ability to do ANYTHING with marriage in general because it is not one of their defined powers... Where the F are all those rulings? I am so sick of this fat, bloated, wasteful SWAMP in DC.
The state regulating the administration of sacraments is a plain language, open and shut "law respecting an establishment of religion". I think, though, that churches (and their ministers and priests) could easily comply by no longer performing the civil part, the signing of the marriage certificate.
I personally don't think marriage (divorce or domestic arrangements) are the state's business, and it should just record and enforce written contracts with indifference to the number or characteristics of the parties involved. There's already plenty of contract law to cover co-ownership of assets and liabilities (including taxes). Spelling these out explicitly is only a positive.
9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.
10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”
11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.
Afuckinmen I like life and the lord has been good to me but let’s get this dance started. Time to start throwing lead and puttin down the pedo fucking leftist pukes for good.
You mean like fraudulently placing a serial pedo and a prostitute in the White House or more like trannies and fags in positions they aren't even fit to serve in?
If this is the same piece of legislation what it said it allows the IRS to attack churches for upholding traditional marriage it allows IRS to go after these churches tax exempt status which means they go after property.
That seems to be the smoke and mirrors protecting gay marriage while attacking traditional marriages and effectively going after persecuting religion.
With 80 billion dollars and 87,000 new IRS agents
Thought democracy was on the line here and they were supposed to pass abortion gift cards and stuff like that.
Bill introduced that would allow the IRS to revoke tax exempt status to churches who stand fast on traditional marriage
Christian persecution
@KamVTV: I got confused over the same sex marriage bill. It will allow the IRS, to revoke the tax-exempt status of churches that hold fast to traditional marriage. @RepMTG: Members like me vote NO. It’s not about gay marriage, it’s about Christian persecution.
And, of course, the same old RINOs couldn't vote for this crap fast enough. We all know who they are because it's the same group doing the same things at the same time with the same intentions, over and over and over again.
It’s pretend marriage, faux marriage. To make them feel good about their sex perversion. Don’t get me wrong. I think the financial, tax, medicine and contract laws should certainly apply to people committed to caring for each other. But that’s a government/civil thing. It’s not marriage. To redefine marriage to include anything government wants to do to it is backwards. But changing history and the meanings of words until they are confusing, embarrassing and useless is what government does.
Well, think about it. Polygamy - five wives and one guy. Sounds good, but leaves some unattended unless…. (I don’t think Mormons practice it the other way around)
But in reverse, five husbands and one wife would make them cucks.
This is the law by which the actual persecutions of Christians will occur if it does occur. More than half of all pastors, priests and clerics will cheer when the persecution begins, if it begins.
Yes, and some do, in fact, have lifetime alimony. In addition, child support debt can never be discharged and will increase if you are jailed...including for not being able to pay child support.
Supposedly this means states have to recognize any marriage that any other state recognizes. So that would probably include marriages where the state has no minimum age for marriage (usually so long as there is parental consent).
It's a bullshit distraction. Constitutionally, states already have to do this.
This law is squarely about assaulting private entities who don't want to acknowledge or participate in gay marriage. Everything else about it is a distraction from that.
Eliminating the church's tax exempt status is going to be the most hilarious backfire in democrat history. Thousands of churches handing out sermon notes with one hand and voter slates with the other.
GOP Voters: Can you please do something about corrupt completely rigged elections, southern border being flooded with millions of illegals yearly, Rampant inflation, complete economic destruction, commie vax mandates, and sexualizing elementary aged school kids?!?!
Every law does the opposite of what the title implies, this is no exception.
This law empowers government to strip churches of tax-exempt status if they don't toe the line on gay marriage.
This will no doubt be very quickly be expanded to other forms of faggotry (pedos, child trannies), and then to general left-wing causes too ("climate deniers").

Destruction of marriage act. Got it.
The No Respect For Marriage Act. They love mocking God.
That's exactly what it is.
It's always the opposite of what they name it. Affordable Care Act? Patriot Act? etc.
Inflation Reduction
Build Back Better. (Destroy shit and make it worse).
The entire point of the bill is to be able to take away a churches tax exemption if they refuse to marry a gay couple in a full on religious ceremony. Only hope is supreme court... won't hold my breath
Lol, all they had to say was "deflation"
YES!!! Its driven by the local college marketing dept

Tolerance was a mistake.
It is the last virtue of a dying society.
Tolerance and "Chilling effects on Free Speech" sure turned into "Worship the Rainbow Flag, Heretic" pretty quickly.
try asking for a USS Liberty Cake
Ok bake my cake "The GEWS did 9eleven" ROFLOLICOPTERSBATMAN 😂😂😂😂😂 Massive Updoots 4 U 🔥🔥🔥
You do know that it’s a setup every time, right? Litigious faggots seek this. So, no, you can’t just say “lol sorry, faggot. I need to make a cake that looks like a can of Zyklon B and some wooden doors. Busy busy busy.”
I would've said, " sorry I don't make fudge cakes"
Busy sucking off your girlfriend’s bull? Yeah I’d believe it.
Fuck off with that shit. Can you DARE imagine the sofomites trying this shit on Mohammedan bakers? Jewish bakers? Hindu or Buddhist?
They didn't let him politely say no -- so far as I know, he never cursed them out or anything. What ""LAW""??
Which specific fucking LAW????
it is his right, used to be afree country.
Sadly many churches are also faggoted…
Absolutely true. Thousand percent. I left such a church myself, and a denomination as a whole (Methodist). Sodomizing Altar boys.
Just because our satanic govt legalizes sodomy doesn't mean it's right in the eyes of God.
Christians or anybody else for that matter don't have to recognize an illegitimate union.
Except none of this shits staying in the bedroom and just between 2 consenting adults now is it ?
We tried the ohh just let em get married and do their own thing at home.
Now they want to fuck kids in the street while you are forced to applaud.
The shits being crammed into school curriculums and soon businesses will be forced to induldge or be punished for being a bigot.
Stop acting like its all harmless and serious society damaging shit isn't going down.
Faggot detected
Then why respond at all ?
Just wanted to provide more evidence of how much of a faggot you are ?
None was needed. The picture is pretty clear.
Just because you have no idea about what has been happening out there doesn't mean the rest of us are as uselessly clueless as you are.
The only thing you could dismantle is your boyfriends anus.
What's not true?
Woah, this isn't a kink forum. Leave your weird fantasies at home.
RIght? Dude's a fucking creep.

Who are you quoting? You write your will, you designate your power of attorney. What other legal benefits are you talking about?
that's what contracts are for
Lake of fire.
As far as a will goes its whatever was written in the will.
That's a reasonable compromise, but the left won't ever accept it.
Shoo, troll.
They destroyed it when the state got involved with it in the first place. Millions of families have been destroyed since the court got in the divorce business. Fuck everything about this world we were born in... take me to the 1790-1850 period... I don't really need the antibiotics and efficient travel. Give me a homestead and tools.
Asshole Destruction Act.
Terrible. Back in my day we hung faggots from trees
We did pretty good in the Primary. We need to break up MITCHS GANG and his hold on the senate. Those people who supported him are no good anyway
1776 was built upon political organization and leadership.
The system is to corrupt to save. It's so far gone from local to o the top
Relevant video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OskM_Uh0ks4
Yep
You realize there's cheating to maintain the ESTABLISHMENT not to support either side specifically. That's why each side gets their "turn" as President.
I member in 2016 and beyond how cool cocaine mitch was. He was always a snake.
You need to break that paradigm of a two party system. We don't have that
If this passes, it will be the final nail through the hand of modern Christian churches.
The "modern" churches caused this. It's the "real" Church that will suffer.
I dont know why people don't get this.
I'm not even a Christian, but I see it clear as day. Modern churches are a step away from socialist cesspools.
They claim to be "conservative"people, but then push tolerance to the point they're inviting trannies to come have story time with the kids.
Mostly because they're they're so fucking scared of cancel culture and optics they want to be "inclusive" of outright degenerate.
Modern churches have literally pushed for half the shit the left champions
How long before those real churches lose their tax exempt status for preaching the truth to the 3 or 4 dozen people who still attend?
The real church is in the home. It's believers gathered around the kitchen table reading scripture, eating meals together, looking out for each other, helping each other, and all pursuing discipleship with Jesus.
It's not in 501c3 organizations and expensive buildings with manicured lawns and a pastor who works two days a week.
They want people to join so they have to push the pedophilia
Maybe initially. It's been through FAR worse and might be a benefit in being a wakeup call.
If this passes, seeks to force churches to perform same sex ceremonies, and then SCOTUS does not immeadiately grant certiorari as soon as it comes up, I fear the worst will come even sooner than we already fear.

It will be no different than when they fancy talked their way around penalizing anyone who didn't get Obamacare.
They will find a way to punish churches that won't conform. They just won't be "required by law" to do the ceremony.
This is vague to me, what is your understanding of "conform" if they need not perform ceremony or services?
Part of what they challenged Obamacare on was a penalty for not having health insurance. They got around it by not calling it a penalty.

Churches need to stand up to the state. The "moral conservative" parallel society was never a real thing.
I know it gets said a lot these days, but truly, that divine firebombing can't come fast enough.
Please bring back smiting, Lord
Amen

Afuckinmen I like life and the lord has been good to me but let’s get this dance started. Time to start throwing lead and puttin down the pedo fucking leftist pukes for good.
I fear there will be a solar flare or magnetic pole flip. Or both.
The fags have infiltrated everything now. Pretty sure the decline of the US accelerated with accepting the deviants as normal.
Next up, being normalized in media, pedophilia and MAP. Who would be pushing this sick shit?
WaPo is already pushing for pedophilia
anyone who went along with what two consenting adults do in private dropped the ball.
These dogs are now trying to enslave mankind.
You mean like fraudulently placing a serial pedo and a prostitute in the White House or more like trannies and fags in positions they aren't even fit to serve in?
Protecting homosexual marriage rights? No, this attacks marriage. This doesn't protect anything, it destroys.
We're going to need a new aids variant.
If this is the same piece of legislation what it said it allows the IRS to attack churches for upholding traditional marriage it allows IRS to go after these churches tax exempt status which means they go after property.

So sick of this gay shit being everywhere.
Our nation has been damned by God. We are not blessed. Sorry to say
At some point some of the states are going to figure out that the US needs them more than they need the US, and the union will shatter at this point.
Stuff like that is helping more and more states wake up to that realization.
May God help us all until that day comes.
Let’s hope. I’ll move to the new south republic
Unconstitutional. Marriage regulation is not a power given to the federal government. Therefore it is reserved to states.
This. If were goibg to force states to recognize marriages of other states, then Concealed Carry recipriocity must follow suit.
It’s pretend marriage, faux marriage. To make them feel good about their sex perversion. Don’t get me wrong. I guess that this means that Chuck Yogurt will finally be able to marry his pet goat that He likes to jack off.
Being gay is a sexual fetish, not orientation
The religion of cumming in another mans shit and the refusal to get pregnant. Absolutely demonic
So the club shooting was a setup for this.
Why is it going back to the House?
They weren't confident the original would break the filibuster?
They added some stuff and they have to approve that version again. The usual. Mormons doing their part to get Poligamny in the mix again.
I figured they needed to draw more dildos in the margins?
It's on the road map. Mormons have been pushing it for years now. Doubtful it'll be enough to protect Churches in reality.
Problem with the Mormons is they are using the Gays to move it along.
Well, think about it. Polygamy - five wives and one guy. Sounds good, but leaves some unattended unless…. (I don’t think Mormons practice it the other way around)
But in reverse, five husbands and one wife would make them cucks.
It is too confusing for me.
I'm don't mind Polygyny (husband can have multiple wives) being legalized but Polyandry (wives can have multiple husbands) should remain illegal.
Polyandry is the current status quo in the form of child support and welfare.
Headshot.
Thinking is Mormons are aiding the Gay Mafia in their depravity so they can get there support. Or so that's their plan.
Gotta add some Ukraine money
Right isnt it the other way around?
How much money is going to Ukraine in this bill?
This is the law by which the actual persecutions of Christians will occur if it does occur. More than half of all pastors, priests and clerics will cheer when the persecution begins, if it begins.
Not a federal issue, unconstitutional. I dont care if states do what they want here BUT ITS A NOT A FEDERAL ISSUE. NO JURISDICTION.
Let's not act like marriage isn't fucked already. Wife gets the house, kids, car, bank account, and 50% of future earnings for life.
is alimony or whatevz based on the state in which you marry or divorce?
Yes, and some do, in fact, have lifetime alimony. In addition, child support debt can never be discharged and will increase if you are jailed...including for not being able to pay child support.
This is not true.
So when a state allows MAPs or Polygamy, the Federal government must accept it and force it in all other States.
there are already states with minor marriage
Eliminating the church's tax exempt status is going to be the most hilarious backfire in democrat history. Thousands of churches handing out sermon notes with one hand and voter slates with the other.
So? Dominion.
Come on sun do another Carrington event.
Alphabet people are mentally ill. Don't give a fuck if they're "good" people or not.
GOP Voters: Can you please do something about corrupt completely rigged elections, southern border being flooded with millions of illegals yearly, Rampant inflation, complete economic destruction, commie vax mandates, and sexualizing elementary aged school kids?!?!
GOP: How abouts we strengthen fag marriage??
Every law does the opposite of what the title implies, this is no exception.
This law empowers government to strip churches of tax-exempt status if they don't toe the line on gay marriage.
This will no doubt be very quickly be expanded to other forms of faggotry (pedos, child trannies), and then to general left-wing causes too ("climate deniers").
federal AoC is 15, iirc.
I wonder if they're going to lower the voting age to 16 like Australia just did
If this is the same piece of legislation what it said it allows the IRS to attack churches for upholding traditional marriage it allows IRS to go after these churches tax exempt status which means they go after property.
@KamVTV: I got confused over the same sex marriage bill. It will allow the IRS, to revoke the tax-exempt status of churches that hold fast to traditional marriage. @RepMTG: Members like me vote NO. It’s not about gay marriage, it’s about Christian persecution.

Good. Now someone get this to SCOTUS.
How does no one see this as a conflict with the first amendment? I don’t recognize my own country these days
What's in the bill? Assault on churches who hold to the 1 man-1 woman marriage belief?
Bye bye churches.
Seems like they are no longer worried about offending Muslims who practice Sharia law
As ron paul and rand paul said.. an acts name often does the opposite.
Sweet, Mosques should be the first place people go for a gay wedding…
