Republicans should have outright control of the senate and a 30+ margin of control in the house. Instead, we will not control the senate and we have the slimest of margins in the house.

Then by your own definition there wasn't a red wave. It's not a victory, nor should it be taken that way until elections are secured. Otherwise it's just hypothetical.
And to be clear, I agree that the cheating definitely ran rampant. But what's reality is that there's the narrowest of margins of one chamber that we have control in. And once you factor RINO's in, the democrats actually are the ones with control.
