Wow. Take a moment and think about this post. This is fucking heavy. This goes deep. This goes really deep. It's widespread, lots of influence and control throughout the corrupted network of agencies , working for the deep state

Dictator_Bob 97 points ago +97 / -0

Twitter was used as a weapon to overthrow North African states. They used this same weapon here. Our cities burned. Our minds assaulted.

That’s funny because they’re going to say the same thing about us and Q or Alex Jones. They’ll say they did it to defend democracy against misinformation.

I hate these assholes so much.

21
Dictator_Bob 21 points ago +21 / -0

Q and Alex Jones have nothing to do with this. If I want to buy into alien conspiracies about Nazi spacecraft and other obviously dumb shit, that is my right. Telling us that what was laughable, sometimes spooky, and fun conspiracy shows is now some national security matter?

We could say the same about Rachel Maddow who has been far less truthful than Alex Jones. We could say the same about Berkley, who has lied to millions of our youth about their very genetics. Leading to a generation of bitter spinsters and confused drug addicted children. Some of them maimed.

Fuck the left.

They said people are stupid and cant think for themselves(especially Mexicans) and they have to label shit as mis/dis information to protect people. That damn wrong think! Govt is so damn corrupt.

Rules for radicals go to play.

14
War_Hamster 14 points ago +14 / -0

This should be the type of stuff that has governments be replaced, but there is no institution left who will stand up.

It's going to remain that way until we the people get the States to strip the central government of its power. That is the ONLY way forward.

5
MrM4590 5 points ago +5 / -0

This should be the type of stuff where people are swinging from lampposts. Yeah this government is meaningless. Institute a State guard..make every federal body leave or face arrest and basically say we no longer recognize your authority.

3
Lake_Walker 3 points ago +3 / -0

As usual, take my updoot, really good take.

2
Kornilovist 2 points ago +3 / -1

States are likely already controlled by the secret police. The same methods in DC work throughout the country.

Everything about our "Constitutional" government has been a mirage. I doubt very much federalism is an exception. The last prominent Governors were swept aside in the 1960s.

2
Prussian_Pepe 2 points ago +3 / -1

Correct how do you think they got all of the swing states to stop counting at the same time? It's all smoke and mirrors. The same deep state that controls other countries controls a large majority of each state. Why do you think none of the fraud is investigated, in any of the states. 50 states, and the only one who managed even a limp dick effort of cleaning things up was Florida.

ISIS used Twitter as a recruiting tool. It was horrifying. Was posted to this site but was never noticed, buried over pepe and gun memes.

8
hzuiel 8 points ago +9 / -1

Buried? Ive heard numerous times from many different media people(mostly not mainstream but also in mainstream) that while they are banning alex jones or trump, terrorist organizations around the world have had active twitter accounts with no sign of anything happening to them.

20
joshverdugo 20 points ago +20 / -0

Listen to what he's saying. Case in point:

My son worked as a sales clerk some 20 years ago at a major mall store in Burbank, Cal. The management hauled him in on an investigation of widespread store theft. He was innocent, but they held him in a security room and called the Burbank Police to help them interrogate him under detention, without the benefit of Miranda.

I was and am a lawyer. I pointed out that the involvement of government (Burbank PD) in the violation of several of his constitutional rights "colored" the store with govt abuse. Settled the case quickly for ten grand and got him the car he wanted.

It's the "coloring" of private action (Twitter) with government entanglement (DOJ/FBI etc.) that makes Twitter's abuse of free speech actionable under the First Amendment. Uh, trust me.

4
Kornilovist 4 points ago +5 / -1

Nothing is actionable in a dictatorship, but of course people will try, and should, if only to prove yet again that the law is gone, what remains is despotism.

2
Liberty49220 2 points ago +2 / -0

Judges may dismiss it, but it is too big of a case to dismiss on BS technicalities.

2
Kornilovist 2 points ago +3 / -1

Ha ha ha!

See- Supreme Court, 2020.

This is a dictatorship! There is no law, only despotism. They don't need squat! They just do and you just comply.

As per Steve Jobs: "Google is Evil".

We lost a really independent minded entrepreneur when Steve Jobs died.

He wouldn't be MAGA, but he sure as hell would not be woke.

1
Liberty49220 1 point ago +1 / -0

Jobs was all about making money. It's how he kept score. Elon doesn't care much about money.

1
ItsOkayToBeWight 1 point ago +1 / -0

Elon's fortune comes from sucking on the government teat. He didn't work to earn it so he doesn't value it.

pursuitoftruth1776 26 points ago +34 / -8

Unlike Watergate however, which was blown out of proportion, there will be no accountability because it will be part of the demoralization campaign. You might wonder, why would they allow proof of their criminality to be spread? It's to make you feel powerless.

Going in knowing it's a ploy relinquishes that power they aim to achieve over us.

6
TravelingSalesman 6 points ago +6 / -0

I think everyone has an internal compass that points to their source of truth. For some people it points to the Bible. For other people it points to the media and television. The problem is when those two sources of truth are incompatible with each other. It's like cognitive dissonance at a society level.

Here's what's wrong with society, they people decide their own truth. There is not black and white. There is no right or wrong. Hell, there is no male or female. 1 and 1 isn't 3. It's all subjective.

That's a load of post-modernist horseshit and it's the exact philosophy that's destroying western civilization.

there will be no accountability, because they're already using this copout...

biden at the time was not a member of the government, therefore any censorship demands by biden were purely private actors demanding other action by other purely private actors.

it's literal fascism.

We still have a military and we still have GITMO. Look at Brazil.

9
AlphaOverBetaReturns 9 points ago +9 / -0

Our military will be used to shoot us and a large portion of them will comply. Wake up.

6
BoomShtick 6 points ago +6 / -0

I am afraid you are right. Looking at how law enforcement enforced unconstitutional law either out of free will or compliance to keep their pensions, so to will those of the armed forces.

Also, like LE, the military has been purged of many of those that would not obey orders contradicting their oaths to the constitution through woke programs that caused many to cash out at their end of their contract, or via refusal to take the jab.

Best you can do is stay fit, stay zeroed, and hold to your principles for what lies ahead.

The 1A vs "private corps" is a red herring.

Congress can and should force free speech on large companies if they wanted to.

Common sense regulation is good.

This is all a bs charade.

20
RealCleanUpPhilly [S] 20 points ago +20 / -0

You're digressing. The point is that the DEMS did this. Dems violated the 1A using their official government offices. This is the heart and soul of the 1A.

6
RiffFantastic 6 points ago +6 / -0

Republicans and Trump admin are implicated too. Albeit to a lesser extent, but it’s there in the Twitter files. Will be interesting to see which specific cases.

14
bf4truth 14 points ago +14 / -0

if a large corporation that becomes a public forum exists because of special laws and exemptions, the first amendment would apply if there was any upholding of the Constitution

think about it, the government cant tell you to censor, but the government also cant create complicit corporations with special privileges that then do it for them. The only companies that can reasonable censor are the ones not tied so egregiously to government privileges, subsidies, etc. Section 230 is worth trillions to these companies and that is right from Congress. The only companies that can actually censor you is your local newspaper or something like that, because they dont get all these special protections and theyre just as liable for libel and slander and other legal remedies that everyone else is able to be held liable for.

10
AnonymousFrog 10 points ago +10 / -0

This is something a lot of Libertarians will point out. At its root, a lot a non-government power concentration is facilitated by government.

4
Philhelm 4 points ago +4 / -0

Right. Corporations are government created entities. The exist with special protections granted by government and would not exist in their current state without government influence.

2
cryogen 2 points ago +2 / -0

In this case, it's largely IP laws.

In the digital age, when people can copy/paste for next to 0 cost, the old ways simply don't make any sense, and it's proven that they don't work, too, because they enable and foster behemoth Tech monopolies.

9

We all know this. The problem is Congress, the Executive Branch, and the Judiciary all become willfully obtuse when some case like this comes up. Twitter's former executives can just claim they did it of their own volition and the emails are just coincidence (everyone knows that's bullshit, but no one with the power to do anything about it will do anything about it).

Define the difference between an Order and a Request

this is why liberals need to be killed.

1
Axiom502 1 point ago +3 / -2

There is no difference. If it's a request you still have a state actor.

4
Coprolite 4 points ago +4 / -0

Can they ask nicely?

7
wiombims 7 points ago +8 / -1

I think that's the issue. With watergate, they burglarized a place. Here, they asked nicely? If Elon can show they were somehow told or coerced, maybe? And if Woods actually sues, I really want to see how that trial goes. I don't have a problem using hyperbole though, in this case. It's the most clear-cut case of what everyone's been saying/suspecting is happening behind the scenes at every social media platform.

10
resoluteAction 10 points ago +10 / -0

Every action by the government by definition is coercive because they have a monopoly on force. It's like the policeman asking you to come downtown and answer some questions. You can say no but the next thing you're getting cuffed and forced into an interview.

2
wiombims 2 points ago +3 / -1

Well, yeah, but you know what I mean. I completely agree 100% ... but that's not considered a threat is what I was saying. It's just considered a shitty perk of having a powerful position. It's the implications.

Soros is interested in permanently changing every society on earth into a degenerate tranny Weimar. Elon musk will do the bidding of WEF and his hippie wife

2

I imagine degenerate tranny Weimar periods serve the same function in rejuvinating the righteousness of a society as the underbrush in coniferous forests. Kindling.

-2

3
BrewSwillis 3 points ago +3 / -0

The 'Twitter Files' claim that the Trump Whitehouse asked them to act, on occasion, but they did so waaaaaay more for the democrats. But that's all it will take. It's now a "both sides" thing, and the democrats, and former Vice President Joe Biden, will skate free on this. It will ALL be blamed on old Twitter.

3
MrM4590 3 points ago +3 / -0

Anybody remember when Mark kuckerbeeg did that interview on Rogan and he straight up asked him if the government approached him to censor people? He beat around the bush like the faggot he is and the short answer was yes they did. When it should have been take your faggot ass and get out of my office. Seriously it's fucking time for new representation.

Twitterburg Trials when??

1

When Twitter did this they were a publicly traded company. I'm sure many of their shareholders were unaware top management was interfering in an election.

People like Vijaya Gadda engaged in election interference and should go to jail.
