As a kid who hated Broccoli, I started to picture myself as Little Foot or something from the Land Before Time movies.

For some reason I like Broccoli and honestly, I still picture that.

I grew up eating and hating cooked broccoli my mother made. It wasn't until I was in my late 20's that I tried it raw. I'll never eat it cooked again.

Likewise. People don't know how to cook vegetables. Lightly steamed if cooked and I mean light.. It should still have a crunch.

some health expert will say something really common sense and simple like "a virus can technically live on a vegetable" and then the fake news just runs with it and claims that vegetables give you covid

You know what makes your Covid case really bad:

Diabetes

You know what are some good foods to help keep diabetes under control?

Broccoli and (rasp)berries.

Yeah I’m convinced that at some point the medical establishment’s goal changed to kill as many people as possible.

There's hundreds of articles of like "What's Africa's secret for not having covid cases"

It's like bitch, how many old and fat Africans do you think there are. Even among old Americans that died of covid 80% of the time they were overweight.

There might even be a stronger correlation between obesity than age because countries like Japan who huge elderly populations still did better than the US.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– DinosaurAlert 4 points 58 days ago +5 / -1

stronger correlation between obesity

It isn't raw obesity. Extra fat doesn't make covid worse. Being in weak shape with terrible cardio/lung capacity/etc makes covid worse. An 80 year old and a fat person will both get winded walking a quarter mile.

If there was somehow a fat person in great shape, they'd be fine. (But those only exist in fat-positive-girl-twitter fantasies.)

It didn't help that the main medication they used (Remdesvir) had over a 50% mortality rate from toxicity in Ebola trials. We all know about the ventilator and survival rates.

Pretty certain a vast majority of the deaths were due to this procedure.

Oh, and they lied about ivermectin and hydroxy. This was intentional genocide on so many levels. Evil

Broccoli: high potassium, high vitamin C. I know vitamin C is necessary for healthy immune systems, not so sure about potassium.

Raspberries: also potassium and vitamin C.

Potassium is necessary for energy. Also to balance Sodium and also helps with concentrating calcium into your bones. And many, many more benefits.

I found I wasn't obtaining enough Potassium in my diet. By increasing my Potassium I was able to lower my blood pressure, have more energy and also prevent further bone loss in my jaw.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 14 ▼
– Sansa_Belt 14 points 58 days ago +14 / -0

K2 helps D3 direct calcium to your bones (instead of your arteries) too. Though, too much potassium effects the kidneys and too much potassium can cause health problems such as a heart attack (Hyperkalemia).

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– lixa 4 points 58 days ago +4 / -0

Most people are deficient in potassium and magnesium though. Yes too much is toxic, as with many things, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't take some. Potassium can be an issue for those with kidney problems but not so much for those without. It also lowers blood sugar- drives sugar into the cells- so it can be beneficial for that (take after a meal), but if you're hypoglycemic you'll want to take smaller amounts and with/just after carbs.

I'm surprised more people don't realize this (I know our side realizes this)

EVERYTHING is going to have Germs on it, it's the nature of being in this world. But the fantastic thing is, your body has seen like 99.99999% of those germs before, so when the 3 germs on that piece of broccoli tries to make you sick, your immune system is already ready to fight and kill them.

The only time that you have to worry about germs in a harmful sense, is when food is kept in the temperature danger zone WHILE being in contact with food that could have Germs in them (Think Raw meat/poultry/dairy) But in that case, that's a Food service nightmare, and would be caught by everybody and their mother before it'd EVER reach a point of making somebody sick in a supermarket.

These Article writers who keep telling you that anything will make you sick, as opposed to talking about the real thing making people sick (The Covid Vaccines) need to realize their shit stinks. People aren't buying it anymore, other than the Vaccine Simps who will happily sell their body to Fauci for more of that Fauci ouchie juice.

Let alone, it's a respiratory virus and requires inhaling the payload and I imagine enough of it. Digestion of it would have an extremely low probability in the process of you contracting COVID.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 5 ▼
– Faulkner 5 points 58 days ago +5 / -0

Wouldn’t cooking food lower the probability even more? As would rinsing off your produce?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– Imthebest 3 points 58 days ago +3 / -0

Absolutely! Cooking for sure, rinsing probably not much. But even so, it's moot since your saliva should kill it and it thrives by way of respiration.

I love broccoli and raspberries, I've been eating them throughout the covid attack, and will continue to enjoy them. If I listened to these fools, I'd be dead.

I am the broccoli king. Or at least that's what she calls me. No gene therapy jab, no mask, no isolation, a little horsy paste now and then, C, D3, Zinc some K2 on occasion and a red apple every day (ionophore), and no CCP China Flu for this nimble navigator.

Run out and buy fresh broccoli and raspberries today. Grow them at home.

if anything has been proven over the last few years, it's that the medical establishment does NOT want you healthy.

during covid, they never mentioned BMIs, exercise, vitamin D and nutrition - all critical pieces in keeping people from getting too sick.
