A free spirit classical liberal who rebelled against all societal norms. I Greatly enjoy his writings, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Where the Buffalo Roam in particular. He understood even back then the institutions were trying to bottle the nature of man and use it to their own likings. He saw what a joke our society was and how morality and independence was being traded for conformity and materialism. To weird to live to rare to die. He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man. Quotes from his works that always spoke to me. It's opinion of course and much like yours, I'm entitled to it.

I have to strongly disagree. Ted bundy also rebelled against social norms. I read some of hunters books and they are awful crap. Gonzo journalism is just adding large amounts of fiction to non fiction which basically just makes fiction. Taking large amounts of drugs is not admirable and that is what he is most famous for. He was a bare faced liar. His book about the hells angels was a lot of lies. There is a great clip where he is called out by a hells angels member on a tv show and he is not such a big bad boy then. There is also strong evidence to support the claim that he was a pedophile. Even in the movie fear and loathing which is just fantasy parading as truth there is a bit where himself and his dumb lawyer get involved with an underage girl. In my opinion he was a degenerate. You should also ask yourself why he was promoted so heavily by a media full of liars and degenerates and why Hollywood was so keen to idolize him.

THIS

What a hilarious and insightful degenerate. I read the "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"/"on the Campaign Trail" books when I was in high school, having seen the excerpts in Rolling Stone a few years before. He was very influential to my own writing (to the dismay of my teachers and family,) especially in his savagely grandiose lambasting of evil Career Politicians and similar power-abusing scoundrels swilling from the trough of ill-gotten gains.

Matt Taibbi's work is extremely influenced by Thompson's writings (minus the drugs and guns and adventure) to the point of near-plagiarism of his style, which is odd considering they both became well-known as Rolling Stone contributors.

Taibbi has been bashing Conservatives and Republicans for many years now as a Rolling Stone contributor, most of his writing I've seen there has been fully-partisan Leftist Agenda shilling. As I recall, his "coverage" of the 2016 Republican primaries/campaign was vicious condescending partisan ridicule- especially concerning Trump. At the time, he went after Trump with the same sort of enthusiasm Hunter Thompson employed in going after Nixon. Just before the 2016 Election, a Canadian "documentary" showed Taibbi very triggered and fighting tears over the possibility of Trump succeeding at winning the Presidency.

It is very strange to see the Tolerant Left attacking Matt Taibbi as a "far-Right extremist/conspiracy theorist." Leftists flip-flopped their opinion of him literally overnight in retaliation for his work with Elon Musk in reporting on Twitter's collusion with the DNC/RINO/MSM alliance, caught red-handed in emails demanding censorship of Conservatives in general along with those who accurately reported the "inconvenient truth" of the contents of Hunter Biden's carelessly-lost laptop(s.)

Taibbi is for the most part presenting the relevant facts and evidence in a straightforward manner. But because this is "inconvenient truth" exposing unethical/illegal collusion between Twitter employees and DNC Career Politicians, the Tolerant Left is screeching in unison and preparing their cancel-"culture" attacks. (To be fair: a lot of that "reeeeee" is copied/pasted word-for-word from one bot-account to another, with a handful of Leftist shills repeating the coordinated "doing PR for one of the richest men in the world" catchphrase.)

The deep state and uniparty have carefully and overtime pushed the right towards the center while letting the political balance go increasingly deeper into the left. A person like Trump resetting the balance after decades of nuanced political engineering sets their agenda back decades. This is why the GOP can not let trump in. Speak in a form and act another is all Rino's know how to do, trump made them have to match their actions to their word. That is essentially how to crucify politicians if they solve the problems they campaign to solve than there is no need to be a senator for 40 years.

If I remember correctly, Trump said during the 2016 Campaign that he only wanted/needed one term. His reasoning: if he couldn't accomplish his stated goals in one term, then the system was too broken to repair.

Well... he found out just how broken the system is, first-hand. The RINOs for the most part fought him just as voraciously as the DNC on issues like building The Wall, immigration reform, and income-tax reform. The mainstream media who gave him positive press and promoted him as a viable Presidential candidate before he ran against Crooked Hillary slandered him endlessly and refused to report honestly on the good work he was able to accomplish.

In light of this, I am curious about why he would consider running again in 2024. He knows that Congress and corrupt Career Politicians and MSM will fight him even harder than before. He knows it is likely the DNC/RINO alliance will commit blatant voter/election fraud again. He did make good on his Campaign Promise to Drain The Swamp, those icky horrors at the bottom of the muck are on full display now (although the lapdog MSM continues to glorify the worst among them.) He never made a promise to remove The Swamp: the Swamp-Draining he was able to accomplish has exposed the greed and grift and dishonesty of the DNC/RINO/MSM/Hollywood/Big Tech/social-media/Soros-funded "NGO" apparatus, even though MSM continues to present their treachery as "a good thing."

Just as we found that many doctors operate by the motto "a patient cured is a patient lost," the past few years have shown us just how little Career Politicians care for the well-being of their constituents. Those DNC/RINOs became even more wealthy at the expense of Our Citizens, while deliberately inflicting financial despair and social disarray on the populace. They used the seasonal flu as an excuse to commit election fraud, lock-down personal freedoms, and ruin the economy for the Average American. Meanwhile, they did everything in their power to make our public-safety situation more dangerous by encouraging physical attacks on Conservatives and applauding Burn/Loot/Murder riots... while slandering law-abiding citizens as "our greatest terror threat."

Obviously, I am in favor of 4 more years of Trump Presidency (and even 8 more, if further proof of the election-fraud of 2020 allows him to rightfully "take a mulligan.") Even if this causes the predictable over-reaction of Leftist rioting/violence and related "accelerationism," it will still be preferable to 8 years of Kumala "driving it like she stole it" or Gavin Newsom inflicting California-style criminal-coddling on the whole nation.

Preferential treatment in politics, media jobs, or lobbying orgs, tech industry consultant positions....its all one big dirty fucking corrupt circle and there won't be a fucking America ever again until this ring is broken and made what it should be.....treasonously illegal racketeering.

Rolling Stone - music magazine turned Democrat political magazine - they used to endorse Democrats right before presidential elections, as with famous covers featuring Al Gore and Obama, but the rest of the time, the magazine was mainly stories about music acts, but now it IS just entirely a political magazine

Vogue - fashion magazine that did the same - the covers and editorials are about woman politicians and woke figures; professional models were annoyed in the early 2000s that covers and photos shoots were using actresses and female singers; now it's Pocahontas, Crooked Hillary, Kasting Kouch Kamala, and the BLM scammers who are getting the "model" treatment

Wired - tech magazine that developed total TDS and became a pro-censorship mouthpiece (simply see the results for 'wired trump' - https://www.google.com/search?q=wired+trump&rlz=1C1CHMO_enUS568US569&oq=wired+trump&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j0i22i30.1880j0j9&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8)

Vanity Fair - celebrity magazine that went from being obsessed with the British Royal Family, JFK, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and a few other cultural luminaries, to being another TDS tabloid

Actually, its a democracy. The constitutional republic died a long frickin time ago. Dont think of the United States as a place, territory, or land; Instead, think of it more like a Mcdonalds, but this particular mcdonalds has a president and some high ranking staff. every 4 years, we get together to vote in the next guy to run the operation. This is why it doesnt matter who gets elected. Were not even bothering with our country. The media, in this case is actually being honest. Trump was threatening their corporation, which is run as a democracy. if that falls, we might actually get our constitutional republic back and all these bullcrap international laws that politicians keep passing, can be recinded.... or they can stay, doesnt matter because those laws dont apply to human beings, they apply to "persons" aka a corporation. see, "meet your strawman" on youtube for more onfo

Ah, heck with it. I'll post it in case somebody else will get the benefit.

Oh yes. And I have no problem saying it or any other pejorative. I meant what I said. There is three variations of the use of the word.

Faggat/fag/ bundle of sticks: a man who sucks cocks and does butt stuff with other dudes.

Fagats: People that aren't necessarily gay but are figurative cock sucking pricks

Fagatés: a leveled up Fagat that specializes on communist/socialist fuckery, who may or may not also be a a literal or figurative cock suckered.

Many forms of the spelling, but its all pronounced with a fake Italian accent like the pope tying to say frijoles.

Used in a sentence: Did you guys see the UN's new climate change proposal? What a bunch of Fägåtæs; ammirite?

But Rolling Stone will not issue a retraction now that the vile freebasing pictures/videos from Hunter Biden's laptop(s) are circulating online and considered likely to be authentic, due to their pledge to promote misinformation and protect the DNC and their cronies from any "inconvenient truth" in the interest of deceiving the public in the lead-up to the 2024 election.

> Related: Rolling Stone always starts showing up in my mailbox uninvited around the time the presidential primaries begin. I haven't had a subscription to their Leftist Agenda propaganda rag in at least 25 years, but they always send me copies for free and keep on for a few months after an election. I never ask nor pay for it, but Rolling Stone always feels the need to supply me with "election season" Leftist propaganda falsehood and the latest updates on U2 and Bruce Springsteen free of charge.

> Also relevant: Rolling Stone is fully biased in favor of the Leftist Agenda and DNC Career Politicians. They also give simpering fawning coverage to the "artistes" on their artist-promotion roster and the latest "diversity"-related topics. I've written at length previously about Rolling Stone's DNC/Leftist bias, but here is a clear example of their disdain for Conservatives and Traditional America:

Here is their issue around the time of the Republican National Convention of 2016. The cover is a gaudy poorly-drawn caricature of Trump, Cruz, and Lil' Marco with torches and pitchforks (you can't make this stuff up.) Also note the Matt Taibbi article cover-story, which is harshly critical of Trump and condescending toward Conservatives and Traditional Americans. https://archive.ph/ufAS4/93b3b2442a998fa9e4b8906e0b73535cf127cb70.jpg

Then two weeks later, this abomination. The most flattering picture from the Democrat's convention their professional photographers could manage, with Crooked Hilary and Bernie Sanders posed all buddy-buddy looking "oh so presidential." The tag-line is of course "American Politics at its Best," as they are displaying the opposite: journalism bias at its worst. No mention of the rioting/violence outside the fences surrounding their convention (covered first-hand by Joe Biggs for InfoWars) nor mention of Crooked Hillary's collusion with the DNC to deny Sanders the nomination. https://archive.ph/paLDe/19a5d0041212238cff82b2c9e9f6ee52a7f21075.jpg
