Comments like this are what separates us from the left (cult)

That we're cucks and cheer on our best voices leaving the battlefield?

Yup, that's indeed what separates us lol

MrBabySpam 4 points ago +4 / -0

Nope. That we don't attack each other for independent thought.

Funny how the people that think God is going to come and save them talk about how people need to stop waiting for someone to save them...

He's right. The entire premise of social media, in it's current iteration, is basically that he who screams and whines the loudest, wins. Right now our side is feeling it's oats because Elon came along and lopped the top off the huge advantage leftists had in the whining department, but it's still essentially the same ecosystem, with the same inputs and outputs.

ALL of these SM companies have accepted as immutable truth that it's their role in this thing to moderate content. They never seriously examined the ramifications of that decision, and so the world has become accustomed to that view of things. Doesn't mean it ever had to go that way, and it doesn't mean it's the right way to go about things.

Take Twitter and the EU for example. Much has been made over the last weeks about the EU demanding that Twitter enforce EU content laws.

Who ever decided that this was Twitter's job? Why can't Twitter just give the EU the tools to do their own censoring (for EU based users)? Give the regulators an API where they can censor to their hearts content, which will result in big red letters across the tweet that say This content censored by the European Union, Twitter was not involved or consulted in this action.

People should know who is fucking them.
