It’s like people turn their brains off when it comes to an election: when the game is rigged, you either become a principled loser or a dirty winner. And Trumps only “dirt” is endorsing some RINOs and protecting Operation Warp Speed, and that’s peanuts in comparison to the swamp.

You aren't very smart. Try harder. Understand what someone is saying, not what you want to think they are saying, not what fits in one of your two boxes. Perhaps things are more complex than you can comprehend. Try harder!

Motives are unclear, but clear enough to realize that she isn’t thinking of others. She is a shark. Cares nothing of Trump now and used him then to further her agenda. I’m not buying any of it. You want to see it all go down in flames, stick with the one that will throw anyone and everyone under the bus at the drop of a dime.

everything after the question mark is just data sent to them that identifies:

  • and other privacy shit you don't want to give twitter or anyone else

FTFY: https://twitter.com/patriottakes/status/1603957141404110850

KM promised accountability BEFORE the election. He proposed a plan but you ignored it and made false claims about him ordering Pizza or being in a "straitjacket" to donors, which was not true according to that agenda. And you knew it before the speaker race. He never was a Mitch McConnell and he mostly supported the same candidates as Trump in most districts. When I saw what he did to fire war criminal Liz Cheney (she wanted Trump to drone Iran without congress approval), I knew he was on the right track. (BTW I know that you absolutely HATED that Kevin McCarthy met with Trump at MAR after Jan 6 and posted that smiling picture because that gave Trump some influence on the Congress and all you want is DeSantis.

Critical thinking time.

Trump can't do anything. So he backs who will likely win. If he wins, he backed the winner. If he loses, then someone better got in. You see how it's a win/win?

MTG on the other hand could do something, and didn't. Her votes were immediately and only for McCarthy. No holding out for some concession or anything.

She did make a case.

She wrote a very lengthy thread on Twitter about why she was supporting McCarthy.

Apparently, she had been meeting with him quite a bit and she thinks McCarthy had some sort of awakening after J6.

I think she's wrong, and fully expect several stab wounds from KM, but she did make her case publicly.

▲ 9 ▼

Thank you FFS.

She was completely open about why she supported McCarthy, from the beginning. She shouted it from the fucking rooftops... But nobody listened. They pretended she was bought, or sold out or "they got to her" or there was some secret bullshit.

The right is the left. Turn brain off (if it was ever on, to begin with). Drink the piss of right-wing social media influencers. React only to headlines, never read articles. Believe whatever random tweet supports your confirmation bias. Pathetic.

I don't know man, so far Kev's been alright, except on Ukraine - which admittedly is a huge caveat. Even there, he's pushing for audits and transparency, and seems to have pushed that little midget in Kiev to crack some heads on corruption.

I was the "No More McLeadership" guy on here a couple of months back, posting infographics on removing these pricks every day.

We'll see how it goes, but so far so good. It's possible Trump and MTG knew something we didn't, but I still think Gaetz and Boebert holding his feet to the fire helped a great deal.

We'll see.

Mitch and Ronna gotta fucking go, though...

At this point in 2014 Boehner and Ryan were "alright" as well. The voted to repeal Obama care when they knew it wouldn't pass etc:

https://patriots.win/p/16ZqmsZqNE/the-only-time-the-gop-acts-conse/c/

Remember what happened when Trump got in? This is what happens when you put RINO globalists in positions of power!

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– hellohellohellohello 4 points 65 days ago +4 / -0

Maybe. I guess we'll find out.

Gaetz and Boebert didn't have Boehner and Ryan by the nuts, though. There's definitely a distinction. Will it be enough? We'll see. For now, McCarthy does genuinely seem to be pissing off the right people.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– Goozmania 1 point 65 days ago +1 / -0

Why do you believe it's Gaetz who has McCarthy "by the nuts"? It's MTG and Trump who had been negotiating with him for the past 7-9 months.

If anyone is controlling McCarthy, it's Trump.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– hellohellohellohello 1 point 65 days ago +1 / -0

The deal they struck means they can basically force a "no confidence" vote at any point, and return us all to the leadership vote stalemate of a few weeks ago. If McCarthy strays too far, I expect this will happen.

I think you are right that Trump has more influence with McCarthy. I think you'll see Gaetz, etc. warm to McCarthy if he continues to deliver like he has so far, but again, it's only been a few weeks.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– patrioticwinning3 1 point 65 days ago +1 / -0

Yes if he strays "too far". The problem is "too far" is extremely subjective... For instance I think the fact that he has not freed the Jan 6 protestors because at the very least their 6th Amendment right to a speedy trial was violated, is "too far" yet it doesn't seem to be "too far" for MTG, Gaetz, etc...

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– hellohellohellohello 1 point 65 days ago +1 / -0

If we pressure Gaetz and Boebert on this, they will pressure McCarthy. I saw a few general posts on here about them being freed in such a way a month ago, but no organized campaign. It could really work if we target the right people.

It’s possible McCarthy would always do a decent job since Republicans don’t have full legislative power. When the stakes are low, any Joe Blow with middling-to-average conservative cred might do similar stuff.

For MAGA, the time to burn political capital would probably be when/if Congress & White House flip together. It makes some sense not to play your Biggs/Gaetz cards now and be left with a full deck of Paul Ryans later when you need an actual leadership change. Practically speaking, my point is probably garbage (McCarthy gets de facto incumbent advantage) - but it’s possible House reps had that thought process.

She said it herself, she got committee assignments and promises, which is exactly what Gaetz and the 20 holdouts did as well.

My issue with her during that whole spectacle is how she went full GOPe--calling people "Never Kevins" and attacking on people actually trying to show the base that voting for them wasn't a mistake. If she had gotten her way, we might as well have Lady G as Speaker of the House while she gets her assignments. Captain Gloryhole would be in charge of Homeland Security committee, we wouldn't be getting any relevant investigations and rules changes, and McCarthy would still be happy with people like Shit and Fartwell.

They interviewed her and she said she was open to it and she was clearly "angling" herself for it.

Also, fuck yea, she's one of our best fighters. I'd take her over nearly any other current congressmen.

Giving them the right to vote lead to two bizarre events in US history: a constitutional amendment to ban alcoholic beverages, and a constitutional amendment reversing that decision. That tells me we went from rational, critical thinking to knee-jerk reactions that limit freedom AND indecision, traits that women often exhibit more often than men.

Making enfranchisement based on whether one is a net tax-payer would mean 75% of men could vote (the 25% excluded being net tax-drains and therefore 90% Dem), and only 25% of women could vote (meaning no more single mother welfare queens aka Dem voters).

This would shift the voting outcome just as much if not more-so to the Right than making enfranchisement for males only, and it can be much more easily and logically argued for than disallowing voting based on sex, especially when we have so many successful female business owners and professionals these days who contribute lots of taxes.

This is a pretty decent compromise. We don't need to throw the baby out with the bath water. Women voting, as non-pc as it sounds, has been by and large a net negative for the country. It seemed like the right thing to do, but the results just don't show that to be true. I've always felt having some skin in the game was imperative. We can't allow people to vote to give themselves more handouts. Being a net-negative tax payer should exclude you from the right to choose the direction of the country.

"...because Southern Baptists had worked at least three decades to secure legal prohibition. They saw the 18th Amendment as a culmination of their labor. They also had come to view prohibition advocacy as a defining mark of Baptist identity." https://www.baptistpress.com/resource-library/news/prohibition-baptists-100-years-later/

They partnered with the progressives to get it done.

Yes, especially since poopy pants got into office :p Woke a shit ton of people including a lot of yellow dog dems! If you are reffering to Trump MTG I would tend to agree. If you are talking about Trump/DeSantis, Strongly Disagree! That is by far and away the best choice to win the election and Save our Republic!

I am curious, what ticket would you suggest?

Definitely not Trump MTG. Probably not Trump Lake either because it would just become the Election Denier ticket. Trump will never pick DeSantis but it would be better than the other options. Probably still won't win though. I don't think Trump is electable anymore.

He seems to be leading all the polls, even ahead of #2 DeSantis...

If you pick and choose your polls maybe. 538's average has never shown Trump beating Biden. DeSantis is consistently even with Biden.

Bobert voted to send Unlimited amount of our military hardware and money to Ukriane, so NO! Lake probably won't even win in AZ, unfortunately.

Trump needs someone who expands his voter base across the moron general population in the event real votes are actually allowed to be given to him. Greene does not provide this benefit.

Absolutely not. That would be a poor choice for the better or worse she’s very polarizing and she just went through a very messy divorce. The whole tantric sex affair would be 24/7 This would be like selling Sarah Palin times 1000.

Honestly though, MTG is a sellout, we all know that. If she were VP she'd just be another Pence. But she isn't without value in the house or senate.

Be a waste of a pick as she doesn't bring any moderates/etc to the table. It's best to save that slot to either buy off your biggest rivals (eg. Obama picking Biden) or bring more support to your side (eg. Trump picking Pence).

I don't even like Trump picking DeSantis for VP as that basically takes Ron out of Florida into a position where he doesn't have any real power.

This. Someone gets it.

This was the reason Pence was it before and was an exceedingly smart pick. Trump had problems with the bible beaters and neocons early on and he rounded out the ticket while simultaneously being someone the left would want even less than Trump.

Which isn't to say that we need another Pence, the landscape has changed, but this is the purpose of the VP pick on a ticket. Otherwise it's a dead-end job that sidelines anyone you put there. If they run for president later, they get beaten to death with the old administration's baggage. Anyone doing anything real needs to continue doing that until they are ready to run for president.

Don't put a woman on the ticket. I don't know who he should choose right now. Someone like Ronny Jackson would be a good choice.

Trump will not pick MTG or Kari Lake because he hasn't learned.

He will pick another Pence, someone not heavily tied to RINOs on paper.

Trump had executive experience first. There's no comparison between the two.

So only executives can hold office, you better check what the founding fathers did

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– HoganP 1 point 65 days ago +1 / -0

The founding fathers weren't fucking TV journalists who haven't done anything else.

Lake is great. But she needs to actually do something besides run for office first.

But, yes, it's executives you want because they know how to run things. Governors, mayors, successful business people, even military leaders in some cases, etc. You don't want legislators, academics, or people like that until they prove themselves.

His term is up in 2026, he would not need to resign until 2025, meaning he would miss one year as a lame duck in FL for the chance to save the Nation! If FL is so based they can easily produce more than 1 based governor. As it is, unfortunately no governors are currently really following his example!
