This whole “woke” agenda has been a great cover to rob The American Citizens because it’s first thing in the headlines, thus ignoring how things are setup for failure.
But as you pointed out, those treasuries were placed years ago.
This technically can happen to any bank at any time now.
Banks simply are fragile due to government and other banking regulations.
But the point is, it is someone's job (hers in this case) to manage the risk from things like the bond portfolio. She's literally the risk management officer. At least in Britain. I don't believe they had one for the past year here in merica.
That’s the whole problem in itself.
There wasn’t a risk, until a group caused it to happen, I’m suspecting intentionally.
This isn’t about defending her to say, but I’m saying this is a complete setup and people are being distracting by “The Woke” Agenda, missing the robbery of this bank by the corrupt elite.
In short, banks in America do not lend money from deposits, thus if people investigate it correctly, a bank run was technically impossible to do because depositors money WAS NEVER AT RISK.
Banks make loans by shareholders and earnings. Thus the only people who could be wiped out would be shareholders only.
Peter Theil’s group or him needs to be investigated for causing this mess. They’ve basically yelled “FIRE” in a crowded room for questionable reason.

Thinking about more, I would say this is playing on the line of 2008 credit swap default. In plain terms, that was “insurance fraud” but our government was basically bought off at the time, thus why nothing really changed now.

Me, personally, I’m in a similar course of studying the banking industry and well people are simply being played hard, in my opinion. It’s frustrating to get people to understand the scam too.
