It is. All they've done is repeat what they've been told for a certificate that states so. So many times I've hired people for a position that required "higher education" in engineering, yet I would argue there would be no difference in performance and results between hiring someone from McDonald's and a recent graduate as there would need to be years of on the job training.
The only difference I've noticed in graduates is a severe lack of common sense.
One thing I've noticed is that it's mainly WOMEN who lean on their degrees to either win arguments or assert authority. Men tend to debate arguments and judge on merit; women tend to assert and acquiesce to authority.
I have a master's degree in education, too. I'll be the first to tell you that it's one of the biggest bullshit degrees there is. It's a whole lot of nothing, regurgitating textbook nonsense, just to complete some course requirements that will get you a raise in pay in your school district.
Just getting a degree doesn't mean you learned anything it means you completed coursework suggesting you should now know something more. I've met so many idiots who had degrees and obviously didn't learn a thing. "But i have an mba" heard it before and the guy got fired 6 months later.
This woman is a retard. The curriculum is absolutely up to the parent. All she should be doing is teaching the children how to think critically. She should be teaching the agreed upon curriculum to the best of her ability.

I know several people who work a tread and make more money than these teachers. Who know nothing about fixing anything they have. When the economy crashes they will have nothing at all. their collage time is worthless and they will have debt for a long time.
Congrats on your advanced degree. However having a degree does not mean competent or intelligent. It means you paid money and time to acquire a piece of paper saying you paid money and spent time. It does not mean you learned anything or have any actual proficiency in the topic.
Not only that, but you can get a masters degree in teaching in 5 years. It's not as if you spent 8 years obtaining the degree and an additional 3 in clinical.

OK, here in NJ the teacher's union negotiated the contracts so any teacher who gets a masters degree gets an automatic pay raise. So the ghetto district run by nig nogs that graduates about 10% of its students has almost all its tenured teachers getting paid at the higher rate because they all got masters degrees - from the same correspondence school in the carribean. How is that worth anything, let alone anything taxpayers should be footing the bill for?
That’s right. These “Masters degrees” could be earned by a high school student … a total racket designed to inflate teachers pay. They are not 1% more qualified to teach after they “complete” them and only do it for the money.
Same school district sent 10 teachers and administrators to some multi day seminar in New Orleans a couple years ago, the local paper reported that 8 of the people sent on that trip (travel and hotel plus meals etc. all paid by the school district) were retiring at the end of that school year. So what was the point of sending them? Fucking grifters.
