100 years ago, well before the federal government decided they need control over what goes on in classrooms, kids in elementary school were learning Latin. Now, after decades of government initiatives and who knows how many billions of dollars, we have to have remedial math classes in college, to make it easier for people to get their useless anthropology degrees.
