The issue on that one was that he shot the guy in the head (legal in OK), left the store to chase the other guy (goodbye self-defense fearing for your life claim), then came back and shot the guy 5 more times 45 seconds later.
Now personally - I think all the above should be legal. But it absolutely isn’t, not even close. And I think that a life sentence over a non pre-meditated decision created by thieves like this is ridiculous.
For those of you itchin’ to exercise that second amendment right, be sure to burst fire at the start and not chase suspects down. Do NOT fire after they are incapacitated for any length of time without rapid movement on their part.
Thug was not expecting the store clerk to not only be carrying but also to have (clearly) trained to draw and fire as quickly as he did. Thug threw a bag for the clerk to put money and phones in like he was expecting to encounter no resistance and then like a fucking idiot turned his back on the clerk. Hope the thug is dead, clerk 100% did the right thing here.
