Russia and China are building pipelines for Natural Gas and Oil while I am sure that Putin was ordering all sorts of smart missiles, bombs, drones and pieces parts for Russia's weapon manufacturing efforts.. In a few weeks to months Russia will be able to lay down barrages of a million rounds that will grind up every inch of the battlefield covered by smart munitions that will hunt and kill enemy armor and artillery.. The USA and NATO will have no choice other than to commit to being active participants and after that the NUKES will fly and we all will die..

That won't happen for one simple reason: America's leaders would rather live on their knees than die! They know that they'll be kneeling on our backs and want for nothing, so it makes no difference to them who holds global hegemony. They're completely insulated!
Any modern nuke, detonated anywhere in the world, would lead to complete global ecological collapse. It's a fucking joke that any nation still flaunts them. It doesn't matter if they nuke us or we nuke them, everyone will die within a month. So what's the point? The whole point of a weapon is to neutralize your enemy, not commit suicide.

If your reasoning was accurate that 1 nuke would poison the planet then the hundreds set off in the 1950"s underground, undersea, above ground, in the atmosphere4 and in space should have done us all in 70 years ago.. You need to go look at the real yield data from the hydrogen and strontium and other seeded thermo nukes that were set off and get educated.. The tsar bomb was the biggest nuke ever created and detonated.. Most nuclear weapons are lower yield tactical sub megaton bombs with only a few hundred multi megaton bombs currently in all the arsenals of the world.. Common crowd pleaser sizes are 5-10-20 and 30 megaton with most being air dropped older weapons that are really not very practical.. There are a few single large warheads on missiles but once again the smaller tactical ones are far more useful and plentiful..

The payloads of early nukes are nothing compared to today; and the payloads of the tests were a mere fraction of those.
