Too late. He was already very quiet on the Mar-a-Lago raid and said almost nothing about the 2020 election steal.

Plus he has also already been endorsed by Paul Ryan, Karl Rove, Jeb Bush, David French, Jonah Goldberg, Bill Mitchell, the Koch Brother, Rupert Murdoch (and most of his ass-kissers he employs at FOX News), Ken Griffin (the hedge fund GameStop villain), Frank Luntz, John Bolten, Megan McCain, and even the fucking Lincoln Project.

A similar line up got behind Cruz as well. They're basically going to back who ever has even the slimmest chance to beat Trump. They'd prefer to pick someone closer to the rino vein but would also pick a Democrat if that was the best worst option. Don't get me wrong there's a chance he's a sleeper an he seems quite on some issues he shouldn't which raises eyebrows but I don't really care if these folks are backing him over Trump. They'd back a ham sandwich if it stood a chance at beating Trump.

People sometimes forget that "never Trump" was "Republicans" who would support literally anyone other than Trump.

I don't automatically dislike a person for getting supported by these fuckers, but it isn't exactly a good sign. If Desantis rakes in cash from them and then announces that he isn't running for nomination until 2028, I think that would greatly enhance his stature among us.

from the beginning it has been about getting rid of Trump and his idea while keeping his voters. be verry weary of those running for political office. look for instances of any one in the public debate having a situation that calls for them to take a stand on principle that risks them losing everything..

you left out quite a few, as well as a claim that 'soros endorsed him' also. but here's the problem - if the deepstate Wanted desantis, do you honestly think they're dumb enough to publicly act (everywhere) like he's their boy? 2 yrs out from the election? loudly? and from some of the Most unpopular, if not publicly-hated, of their leaders, toties, and fakenews purveyors?

they supercomputer AI-game every secret move, years ahead of time, but re desantis they just willy-nilly go out on tv and announce how 'he's their boy'.

.. 🤦‍♂️ Really?

to quote witwer in minority report: it's an Orgy of 'evidence'.

https://youtu.be/wpQCiLi_mHg

. . . . . . . . .

btw what soros said was to predict that trump and desantis would battle for the repub-nod, essentially that the RINOwef GOPe would hand the nod to desantis, that no trumpers (including trump) would be able to accept that, and trump would run Third-Party, splitting the conservative vote and handing the 2024 straight back to globohomo.

Same. If he were to potentially win the primary, which I don't see a s a possibility, I would not vote for Ron in the general election.

I'd write in Trump more than likely. Ron has done a decent job as governor.

But to betray Trump would show me he has zero loyalty to people, and is in it for himself.

My cousin who said "Trump is done" after j6, and loves Ron and lives in Miami recently told me "Ron is becoming neo con, Trump is the better choice as a whole".

My cousin isn't blinded by personal loyalty or love like many of us (many of us have a certain love and loyalty to Trump, he does not).

So I value his perspective as someone who focuses on the constitution and whom ever upholds its values best.

I'm happy to hear he's more on Trumps side than others.

Ron is becoming a huge disappointment. I'm upset by those who still think "Ron is not running! Trump knocking him is bad for us!".

No. Unless you are retarded, it's clear as day Ron intends to run.

He wouldn't be going to Iowa to campaign the same week as Nikki Haley and Trump, literally doing multiple campaign stops in 2 cities, if he had no intention of jumping into the first primary of the election cycle.

It just wouldn't make sense. Ron is testing the grounds.

He is completely disloyal to Trump and MAGA, who CREATED his hype and support base.

No Trump in 2016 would have meant governor black crackhead (I forget the guys name honestly).

Oh, I remember now. Andrew gillum lol.

But yeah. Ron has loyalties that go with the establishment. Trumps loyalties are more so worth industry and blue collar Americans.

I was saying it since day 1 when desantis hadn’t done anything I’d disagreed with: “something about him doesn’t sit right with me.” I didn’t know what it was at the time, but it’s become clearer and clearer that he’s just the reimagination of the “new face” of the uniparty neocon/rino, backed by corporate interests, who just happens to say and do the right thing more often then the old guard Mitch McConnell types. But even back when everyone loved him, I was very open about it and would always say “you know, honestly I don’t have a reason, and he hasn’t done anything specifically to make me not like him. But I don’t trust him, something doesn’t sit right, and I bet in time he’ll expose why.”

Yep, I've been saying this since the Mar-a-Lago raid, except I think it will be death by a thousand cuts. They will also indict Trump in Atlanta within a month, and shortly after that the Special Counsel will indict him on a few Federal charges. Ron will announce after that, saying he's "stepping up for his country" and FOX News will push him 24/7, saying Trump is a "distraction" and "it's time to move on."

I think what we're witnessing has been coordinated with the RNC and the DNC. This is their "Crossfire Hurricane" for 2024. They learned that he can't be allowed to make it to the general election. They intend to disqualify him with felonies.

A little-known fact: Ron DeSantis is not a declared candidate for the 2024 presidential election. So until he is, I will continue to ignore the 200 articles that the Trump-hating media is publishing every day about his nonexistent candidacy. Trump has been running since Nov. 15, over 4 months now.

DeSantis can't be a declared candidate. Doing so would initiate the forfeiture of his post as Governor of FL.

Resign-To-Run-Law https://soe.dos.state.fl.us/pdf/DE-Guide0016-Resign-to-RunLawFinal.pdf

State legislature is in the process to repeal the ambiguous law so he can be a puppet in the establishment's wet dream.

Trump towed the party lines to try and make deals that would benefit us, (the people who elected him.) He told us we may not like all the deals or what he would have to do, but he would get us the best possible outcomes. And he did. He worked his ass off, pandering to Lady Lindsey, Pierre Delecto, and the Turtle.
Considering all he had to fend off, deal with, and work around, he got a helluva lot done for us. Not only that, he exposed all of them.

Ah yes, thank God those judges were appointed. If not who would’ve told us they had no standing? He could’ve easily used his resources to mobilize MAGA voters into positions where the fraud would’ve been stopped. Instead, some twitter warnings they’re going to steal the election, then being surprised that the election was stolen. Heroic.

Ron DeMeatball, in the same circumstances, would fold like the cheap suit he is.

▲ 1 ▼
– MAGAsJustBegun 1 point 80 days ago +4 / -3

Eh. Someone endorsed and working beside many enemies we know for a fact don't have the peoples interests in mind is very concerning.

I think the greatest allure of Trump is that the evils on both sides hate him.

DeSantis would likely fit in very well with Obama, Biden, Bush, Clinton, and Reagan.

Trump doesn't fit in with them, which is good.

Ron has done a good job as governor I'd say. But seeing him work with these men scares me.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I don't think I'll ever trust anyone who these people endorse or work with.

The fact is, Trump isn't GOP.

Ron likely is.

GOP and DNC are both trash. They're the same. Different names, same strings being pulled behind the scenes.

Trump is something else. Idk exact who or what motivates and controls Trump, but it certainly isn't the same force behind the GOP and DNC, which is why I like him so much.

My RINO radar has been very solid over the past decade. Everyone I've suspected of being bogus has proven to be so.

Only time will tell, but to me, Ron is Bush adjacent. A neo con in the making who used MAGA to build a base.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– aaafirefly123 1 point 80 days ago +1 / -0

Or, and let me lay it out for you.

DeSantis represents the next evolution of the GOPe, and that’s a good thing.

The parties we have in place today are old. The Democrats were founded in 1828 and the Republicans were founded in 1854.

As time goes by different factions within these parties rise and fall. When a faction becomes dominant, they control the direction of the party. For a longtime, the northeast business class controlled the Republicans, but then men like Robert A. Taft, Barry Goldwater, Richard Nixon, and Ronald Regan became popular and took control of the party and steered it in a more conservative direction.

The GOPe will always evolve. It’s inevitable. It can’t be stopped.

The fact that the GOPe is rallying behind DeSantis tells me that they accept that MAGA is ascendant and acknowledge that the party will be taken in a new nationalistic, anti-woke, pro-working class direction.

Now the question is: why doesn’t the establishment get behind Trump if they accept all this? The answer is simple: they don’t like Trump on a personal level. At this point, they accept that Trump’s policies are here to stay. But that doesn’t mean they like Trump. He burned many bridges throughout his political career, and whether you like it or not, politicians are incredibly petty. They take things like Twitter insults very personally. They hate Trump because he insulted them. It really is that simple. They got their egos bruised and now they don’t want to play ball with the one that did it. And yes, they really are that petty. They don’t care if the nation’s very existence is on the line, the fact that Trump insulted them means working with him is a no go.

DeSantis used official power of Government to threaten hospitals who didn't give out the vaccines fast enough. And he blocked vaccine-injured from suing healthcare companies! And, according to Christina Pushaw, he is officially on record "at least a 100 times" promoting the vaccine. Re-inventing history isn't easy in this internet age.

They weren't able to sue anyway. Reagan already made sure of that. The article itself even claimed it allowed people to be heard when they otherwise wouldn't of been.

As far as the second link. That was while Trump was still President and we hardly knew anything about the vaccine. He didn't punish people, he simply made sure Trumps operation warp speed was as successful as Trump wanted it to be.

Right, because since they couldn't sue anyways means it's alright for DeSantis to protect big pharma.

It's NEVER OK to abuse power, especially to protect big corporations like this.

People expect him to cuck out like Ted Cruz did after Trump talked gangs of shit.

Maybe if Trump wanted support he would acknowledge DeSantis success with covid, rebuke the vaccine and stop acting insecure about DeSantis calling stupid names and shit.

'If Trump wanted support'

From who? DeSantis? He barely won against a low-IQ-drugged-out jogger (Gillum) with photos of his call-boy's jizz dripping out his ass onto the bed sheets.

Support from DeSantis. Hahahaha.

Fuck off. Trump 2024. There's a reason DeSantis mimics Trump's mannerisms. He's a twat.

The reality check is that DeSantis is still not even a candidate, but it's funny to see how much the media is pretending he is. Here are headlines from the past day; this looks like it would be from after the 3rd or 4th televised primary debate:

Nate Cohn / New York Times: DeSantis, on Defense, Shows Signs of Slipping in Polls

Camille Mumford / Emerson Polling: Florida 2024: Trump and DeSantis in Two-Way Race for GOP Nomination

Digby / Digby's Hullabaloo: Tiny D is slipping — The New York Times takes a look at the latest polling for Ron Desantis:

A.G. Gancarski / Florida Politics: Poll: Donald Trump holds edge over Ron DeSantis in Florida

Ed Kilgore / New York Magazine: What the Polls Say Today: DeSantis Showing Weakness Against Trump

Cami Mondeaux / Washington Examiner: DeSantis slipping in polls as Trump ramps up attacks

That's because it's not about DeSantis. It's about baiting Trump and you guys into talking shit and it's working. Everyone trying to get DeSantis to bow down and honestly I respect him more for not and letting everyone drown in their assumptions

Like you respect him for having Merrick Garland at the governor's mansion two weeks before the Mar A Lago raid? And not saying a damn thing about it?
DeSantis SHOULD bow down. It was Trump who dragged his ass over the finish line. I remember all those rallies he did for DeSantis, while Meatball was trailing that crackhead homo he was running against. The one found passed out in a pool of his own vomit in a hotel room with some rented fuckboys... Yes, that's Ron claim to fame. Beating THAT guy. Kek.
