Some insurers are forced to scrap whole electric vehicles if their batteries are scratched or slightly damaged as they lack reparability and cost as much as 50% of the total vehicle.

Electric cars replacing gasoline powered cars for the majority of the population is more like steam powered cars replacing horses for the entire population.

Electric vehicles and the batteries are not sustainable, and they will be a bigger environmental waste hazard than CFLs were. Maybe you remember how green those things were?

Will the battery tech exist that is recyclable and safe and affordable - maybe some day in the future, but we aren't anywhere close now.
