Dullard, read between the lines. Remaining silent on this outrageous attack on our democracy is the SAME as being complicit. His little remark about Soros is much too little, too late. The same goes for all the traitorous Republicans who aren't raising hell about this.

Ok, lets think this through then.

DeSantis calls up the National Guard to keep the President from being arrested. And Biden sends in Special Forces who kills about 30 of them and they rendition Trump away - that would be best case scenario.

Worst case scenario, and its Biden, its always going to be Leftarded Uber Retard, Biden cuts off all goods and services from the Fed, he blockades Florida's ports, shuts down Florida's air travel and declares DeSantis a criminal as well as Trump and then starts building up troops on Florida's border "to liberate the state". All during that time, Trump can't campaign, his name is removed from the ticket. Even if DeSantis wanted to run, he can't now and frankly he's not going to run give me a break with everyone's paranoia. And gee, Biden win's reelection because we got stuck with fucking Nikki Haley as the candidate for the Republicans.

Trump is going to have to deal with the legal cases so he'll have free travel across the States to campaign and have his name on the ballot. I guarantee you New York and California will prevent his name from being on their ballots, watch.

Blocking this DA's idiocy would require him to get involved.

DeSantis' statement, or rather his non-statement, effectively leaves Trump to once again be fighting on his own.

What can he do? The Constitution is pretty clear about the situation:

A Person charged in any State with Treason, Felony, or other Crime, who shall flee from Justice, and be found in another State, shall on Demand of the executive Authority of the State from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the State having Jurisdiction of the Crime.

I mean, this is an absolute travesty of justice, but the Constitution is pretty clear.

true!

all he had to do was support trump 100% and keep doing what he's doing, making a name for himself as governor, and he'd be next in line for 2028 with trump's full support!

but no, he needs to be president now. everyone talks about trump's ego, but trump waited 30 years before running for president even though he's been talking about it at least that long! he waited for the right time and then gave 1000% energy and focus! desantis is looking for an obama-type payday and cant afford to wait...

I agree so I'm not really talking to you, and Im not saying Trump was wrong for attacking DeSantis. I always said I'm sure Trump knows what's happening behind the scenes that we don't know and that's why he's attacking him. That being said, if you were Meatball Ron, would you, at this point regardless of whether you were gonna run against Trump or not, defend Trump at all after he suggested you possibly criminally took advantage of underage girls? Lol it was funny but let's be honest...I love Trump but if he suggested that about me, I probably wouldn't be his biggest fan anymore. He should've supported Trump since last year and he fucked it up.

My point is to say I think it's crazy that after that post Trump made, to continually see people here still expect Meatball to be on our side, on Trumps side. He should have done the right thing and smart thing in the beginning and said he supports Trump for president and won't run against him, but he fucked that up and didn't do it so he got called out like he deserved. I wouldn't expect him to back Trrump at all now after that post, though, and I think all these comments looking for Meatball to publicly say or do anything are crazy

Yeah something always felt that way about him, like he's doing some good things but something feels off. The post I'm referring to was when Trump posted that photo that was rumored as possibly Meatball when he was a teacher with female students and underage drinking.

I couldn't find it on here in the search, but I'm sure I have it saved somewhere. Even without that one thing, which was the biggest thing, even Trump coming after him at all like this:

https://patriots.win/p/16aANCXBmF/trump-truth-desantis-is-a-rino-w/c/

Calling him out and calling him a rino, and just the hilarious barrage of attacks Trump has thrown at him in general, why would Meatball all of a sudden stick up for Trump? He had his chance to and shoulve taken it last year when Trump announced. But he didn't and it's gone so far now.

Trump deleted it off Truth that's probably why I can't find it here. But it's still out there. Here's a daily mail article about it. If you search something like Trump DeSantis Underage Drinking you should find it out there.

"DeSantis is a petty, thin-skinned, butthurt faggot" isn't exactly a great defense for his refusal to stand for rule of law and defend a Floridian from leftist DA's and a weaponized judiciary.

In fact, DeSantis went so far as to say that Trump being persecuted by leftist DA's and a weaponized judiciary isn't a real issue worth dealing with. Let's set Trump vs. DeSantis aside for a moment. Trump is a Floridian. What kind of message does DeSantis think that sends to regular Floridians? He basically just said he's perfectly fine with the left declaring open season on them because it's not a real issue.

You're not going to get through to these people using logic. They are converts. Remember all the people on the left Trump helped see the error of their ways? They brought their cult mentality with them and now they popuate this site.

I've provided 3 examples of DeSantis saying he isn't running and still got the same back and forth. They are literally so stupid that they keep claiming that defending a conservative against baseless attacks make people support him for president.

Read back through their posts and you'll see a theme with how they communicate. There is a chance Trump did infect some original users of this site to have that cult mentality, but it's highly unlikely.

Well said, except there's one thing you missed. He did say he wasn't running and he's been saying it since 2021. I've provided at least 3 examples and not a single one made a difference posting it.

Since you can actually see the forest in spite of the trees. Check out this little nugget of knowledge - DeSantis took MAGA, emulated Trump and turned Florida deep red with a super majority and he's hated for it, by our own side.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 5 ▼
– Kingoftheroad 5 points 79 days ago +5 / -0

If that's true, I missed it. I've seen the wish-washy comment he made about it one time where he basically implied he would decide later, but I haven't seen him outright declare he wouldn't run against Trump, or come out in support of Trump's run either, that with assuming Trump has his inside Intel behind the scenes, made me understanding of Trumpsattacks on him.

This whole thing DeSantis sucks because what sounded amazing, to me, wasn't DeSantis as Trump's VP pick for 24, but Spending this next Trump term completely turning FL in the right direction while establishing a successor, then running and winning in 28 and 32. With Trump's and Desantis's support being reciprocal with each other, making an example and creating pressure for other governors, and having 12 years straight of MAGA and having our economic and cultural redirection take place that we so desperately are in need of....

Instead we have this situation with justified frustration and confusion causing a divide

Here's another quote

All the speculation about me is purely manufactured,” DeSantis said during a news conference to discuss a new COVID-19 treatment unit in St. Cloud, Florida. “I just do my job and we work hard… I hear all this stuff and honestly it’s nonsense

While I understand even this could be considered circular talk, maybe it's how he speaks. I honestly don't know much about him, but I'm also not going to just attack him because he doesn't do something in a specific way.

It's like his comments on Trump getting arrested. Whether late or not, he still made them and that is what people here wanted. He makes them and they aren't good enough. I can understand why he doesn't feel the need to bend over backwards because it's not going to be good enough.

Fuck New York. Their jurisdiction ends at their state line. They’ll have to put out a bench warrant if President Trump doesn’t show up. They know they can’t march down to Florida and grab him. If the feds get involved, then Desantis can step in.

Until then, fuck NYC.

He could forget campaigning in all of the swing states that actually matter: Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, GeorgiaNew Hampshire, Michigan, etc.

This is a total larp. Being a fugitive from justice on a misdemeanor rap is far, far beneath him. Plus it will only be used against him to deny him bail when he's indicted in Fulton County and DC.

Falsifying a business record is a misdemeanor. In order for it to become a felony- the government would have to prove that the payment was made to benefit the campaign. Trump's lawyer said in an interview that the payment was made to avoid embarrassing and humiliating Melania. So it seems like it will be awfully difficult to prove that wasn't the purpose beyond a reasonable doubt.

Further, it would be trivial to argue that because there is a case against him, he would leave the state. Thats been how criminals have worked since before our modern legal system. They flee when theres heat. It would be a no brainer to say "we have a warrant for his arrest, hes no longer here, therefore he fleed".

The only time Florida would get involved is if NY issues a governors warrant (a felony warrant that is used for extradition) and tries to arrest Trump in FL utilizing FL law enforcement. So DeSantis is correct in saying they have no involvement and don’t want any involvement. Any statement above that - for now - would arguably just be for political purposes.

But of course there are a whole shitload of WWG1WGA faggots who don’t understand the nuance of literally anything that will call DeSantis names all day instead of putting on their rational thinking caps.

Of course, I’ve even known some folks this happened to many years ago. It becomes an interstate matter then and this is where the feds come in… US Marshall’s, do this, iirc.

The chance of getting a warrant issued is quite poor, even for New York. However, it’s the one state most likely to do it. If so, President Trump wouldn’t pass up an opportunity on the international stage. Even Harambe might show up!

This whole thing truly is a Hail Mary. The risks far outweigh any possible chance The Donald ends up in a prison cell. If he sidesteps all this and gets elected somehow, “scorched earth” would be the tip of the sword to the carnage inspired by revenge. We’re already seeing demoncrats cracking and turning on each other over it.

There is a very fragile civil nerve that is one twitch away from causing the unstoppable collapse of society. Every American can see it…. This is the evil once believed could never happen here.

Machines aren’t the problem. The people pulling out fake ballots from a suitcase after hours are a problem. Trucks arriving at 4am are the problem

Honestly, I’d bet my life’s savings that Dominion isn’t that big a deal in the democrat cheating machine.

I mean then by that account he very clearly did that. He wiped his hands of it, but he called it out for the nonsense this was from the left. Even fired shots at Soros directly. Honestly my first thought when hearing this indictment was oh they are doing this for the 10th time and it will go nowhere again like every time before.

permalink parent save report block reply

– cctrumper -1 points 80 days ago +1 / -2

What's he supposed to say? Well for starters that it's appalling they continue going after a former president and for charging him for something that Hillary just paid a fucking fine for! Did he bring up the Biden corruption in comparison? No. Did he bring up the unprecedented raid on Mar A Lago in HIS state meanwhile the Biden lawyers were allowed to turn over the classified docs? No. He could have pointed out the extreme prejudices in the different cases and denounced the different sets of justice systems as applied to HIS political party (Republican) versus the Dems.. Instead Faggot Meatball made a snide comment about paying off porn stars. Hopefully, Trump will bring up supplying LIQUOR to underage students at some point.
Fuck this clown. He digs a bigger grave every damn day with his mealy mouthed shit.

Hopefully, Trump will bring up supplying LIQUOR to underage students at some point.

We're using Meidas Touch talking points now. Just incredible. Can't wait until we start passing around Occupy Democrat tweets where they rip into DeSantis for reopening "too early" and causing fifty bazillion Covid deaths.

Would be nice if Trump had half as much contempt for Lindsey Graham as he does for DeSantis. Or is Lindsey one of the Good RINOs now?

p.s. if it wasn't for Trump, Ron DeMeaball wouldn't even be governor of Florida right now, or EVER, for that matter. Ron barely beat Andrew Gillum. 'Member him? The closeted homosexual found passed out in a pool of his own puke, naked, in a hotel room with male prostitutes and drugs. That's Ron's claim to fame. Barely beating that dude. Sounds like a lapse in judgment on Trump's part. Trump sure is bad with those endorsements, picking a Mega RINO loser like Ron. Almost as bad as that time he endorsed Tony Gonzalez the open border advocate over an avowed Trump Republican.

Also pretty incredible that all the talk of election fortification doesn't apply to the highly publicized Florida governor's race in 2018, by the by. Am I now supposed to believe that all of Gillum's votes were legitimate? Because I know better than to believe that the Liberal Democracy Respecters waited until 2020 to start "fortifying" the elections.

Maybe help quash a petition for extradition. If Trump is in Florida at the time of the warrant being issued.

Quite frankly the best way for DeSantis to do that though is to do it underhanded via some personal connections with the Florida supreme court. That is an in-person meeting without electronic devices though

But if all he wants to be is a faggy (but effective) governor, then what exactly is wrong with the statement?

What this just tells me is that Desantis FOR SURE is not the next GUY. He’s just an everyday politician at this point and so I’ll never have a reason to vote for him for president, especially if being a governor is as high as his aspirations go… I expected more but it is what it is.

DeSantis or not I am strongly inclined to vote for Trump in 2024 purely as a protest vote against Bragg, Pelosi, Brennan, Biden, and every other scumbag that has open contempt for the American people.

But I am going to keep criticizing him until his mistakes (who told him to keep Chris Wray?) are either accounted for or they become too much to tolerate. I criticize him not because I want chomo Joe to stay in the White House, but because I want Trump to be the best possible version of Trump that he can be. A lot of his supporters are far too forgiving of his worst mistakes, and if Trump truly does have his ear to the ground, then we must be his cornerman and tell him to get his head in the game.

He called it a circus. Not sure why everyone is getting so bent out of shape. Don’t really like him myself, but the guy clearly has aspirations for the presidency in 24. He isn’t going to verbally suck off Trump or his base. He’s going to appeal to other republicans to try and win.

I still won’t vote for him.

Short Man Bad.

I agree with his take. This is a fucking joke. Trump heard someone posturing and ran with it to get donations and make the left look like shit. Don't get played when nothing happens tomorrow. Ron sees through the bullshit and wants nothing to do with it. Makes a diplomatic statement and tries to put the focus on his job as governor, what an evil dude. DeSantis isn't going to go head to head with Trump. He's waiting in the wings.

Did you watch the part where he goes into a long-winded diatribe about Soros-backed DAs and how this one needs to focus on arresting criminals, then he accused President Trump of committing a crime, which makes the case for the left that he is doing his job by arresting President Trump? Could you not see how that was a terrible response?

“I’m fighting for Floridians and fighting against Biden”

Trump is a Florida resident. DeSantis refusing to “get involved” even after acknowledging that this is illegitimate and pure political theater is a way for him to get involved by refusing to intervene.

This guy is a fucking fraud.

he tries to have his cake and eat it too!

the sound bite for his answer was "i dont know what goes into paying hush money to pay off a porn star", i'm already seeing it in my news feed.

its just further proof that he's running in 2024 and a stooge of the media! what the DA is doing is destroying the integrity of our justice system! that is the only thing worth talking about!! not taking pot shots at your 2024 opponent!

there is no proof that trump had sex with a woman who films sex with strangers (she's not a star). common sense would say he didn't because he can get actual models. he doesnt need to go after common strippers...

weak sauce desantis! That statement was completely formulated by his team over days of silence. It was crafted to say absolutely nothing in support of Trump, yet peppered with political attacks. "porn star payoff" I mean I dont think CNN even went that far. Everyone knows about Stormy by now, his hacks just want to rub it in like it will help him, but that crap is totally baked in to Trumps approval ages ago. The guy cant speak form the heart, and is way out of his league. Fox News runs his statement on the front page, Blistering attack! then a stupid video for the normies, "Who is Ron Desantis?" Idiots. Traitors.
