Although this video is funny as hell, I understand the wigs. my best friend adopted two young black girls from horrible homes. She is raising them all on her own and they are wonderful girls, but their hair is so difficult to manage and it’s not their fault. She spends so much money to get it professionally done and it only lasts 6-8 weeks. It’s time consuming and very expensive so a lot of black women just keep it short and wear a wig. This is one aspect of their heritage I actually feel bad about. She has raised the “culture” out of them thankfully, but can’t change the hair. But again, this video is pretty funny, even tho it is a bit dickish
I do find it interesting that they aren’t bright enough to realize how much they have appropriated from us, the first being the fact that they speak English. I appreciate that my friend is raising them in a conservative and Christian home, those are the values that truly matter.
Just keep their hair short, or maybe a small afro. None of the black girls we fostored ever wore wigs or weaves. Those women in the clip would look much better with their hair short.
