way back when "dreamers" were a thing, a teenage girl walked up to a senator (not sure who) who was sitting with rand paul, eating lunch. the girl gives the senator her id and says something like "if you're going to deport me, i want you to have my id". rand paul sees this and immediately gets up with his sandwich and pretends to be talking to an aide far away from the cameras. it showed a weakness that was very unpresidential.
Anytime someone praises Rand and his strong words here I have to remind them he endorsed Mitt Romney before his dads (Ron Paul) presidential run was even cheated by the RNC with the anti Ron Paul delegate rule. To me there is a reason he always has strong words to say but never backs any of them up. Same problem as his dad who I voted for twice. They say all the right things but fail to deliver consistently.

If a shitty ass corrupt jogger DA can come up with fake charges YEARS after the alleged incident, well past any period of limitation, any DA of any other state can also come up with a case on how the NY DA is violating the law by targeting a presidential race contender and indict the NY DA for election interference

His supporters that made the rational tactical compromise of supporting Trump will have no problem making a much smaller tactical compromise for Rand.
