The law in Florida basically would force DeSantis to step down as Governor if he decided he wanted to run for President. He's in the process of having that changed, that's the main reason he hasn't announced it yet.

What would be the point, he’d only have a real chance at it if trump dropped and went full on support of him. Hey maybe he would be that dumb but I’m willing to bet he probably ain’t. Eh, I've been skeptical of Ron since years ago, but began to talk crap about him probably close to 6 mo ths ago.
