Oh by all means, we don’t live in or near a city. That being said, we prefer our youth to be prepared rather than paranoid. That goes for being in any location, whether safe or sketchy. A properly trained individual is deadly. Whether they are 7 or 70, if they can aim and shoot under pressure, that’s all that is needed.
I'm all for youth training as well. My parents weren't personally into guns and shooting, but were oldschool enough to understand its importance regardless, and enrolled me into a 4-H shooting/safety program when I was 11, and I had the privilege to pass my interest and knowledge to my own son.

What are the rules concerning sidewalks outside businesses in NY? Where I live we can be sued if someone slips on snow that wasnt removed in front of a business/home. If a person is getting assaulted in front of a business, is the business responsible for that or is it just snow that cities care about?
