2 Thessalonians, 1:7-8
It sure will be nice.
Not to sound like a jerk, but I see these posts all of the time, and then i look at the username that posts them....
And then you realize it's the same person every day using Jesus' name to farm fake internet points
All internet points are fake
You're not wrong
I guess nothing... My thought was that if you are going to quote scripture on here, it looks really bad to have "pubic hair" in your username, but then again... who am I to judge? I believe in God too, and curse like a sailor most of the time. So, you are right. it doesn't matter as long as your heart is in the right place.
If swearing is wrong, why’s it often so funny? ;)
Too many Christophobes on this site. Deus vult!
Watching The Chosen during Easter season. Free app in the App Store has all the episodes plus discussion etc
I’m so grateful to have Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. It makes every single day better.
There is salvation in no other
It's a good attitude adjuster.
How will we apply this to defeat evil, today?
Christianity is not about defeating evil. It's about living the life of a Saint.
Christ is indeed our peace and our rebuilding; that's good Ephesian doctrine. He's also captain of YHWH's host - a martial position - and proclaims division among all relations, even within The Individual... IOW, The good word is also the Sword Of The Spirit.
You have asserted Either-Or where Both-And is more appropriate.
Naked Jesus and Christ's Pubic Hair know each other?? 🦖🪲💥
Is sin required to win our country back?
Jesus is the only one who can provide true victory because He alone addresses the root of our problem, which is our own sin nature.
That doesn’t mean us Christians sit around and do nothing. Christians vote for and support Trump just like everyone else, mainly because we recognize that he’s the only candidate with sensible policies and the only candidate who will let us practice our religion in peace. More and more Christian Americans have woken up to the fact that the Uniparty hates us and doesn’t want us to freely preach the gospel.
Like our forefathers... how do you think we became a country. We committed the ultimate sins. We murdered british, we burnt british businesses, and collaborators were left destitute. Families split and brothers killed each other. Men back then knew it was a necessary evil to achieve freedom. Do you think our forefathers are in hell for that?
Anyone who is in hell is there because they did not repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God and their savior. Anything else you do in life is irrelevant in that regard.
This is also the second time in as many days that I’ve heard “murder” used to describe the actions of the Founding Fathers. Yet rarely if ever do I hear the same term used to describe the actions of any other faction in any other war. Seems a little fishy to me.
Yes war is murder. We killed them and they killed us. But im not talking about the brits because we are the united states not the united kingdom. That etchy sketch dogma of weak Christianity does not wipe away the things men choose to do and the bible has rules, suggestions, and sins. That last one being the most important. You can believe in jesus more than the most pious priest. So did napoleon. So i ask again do you think the thousands of americans who killed the brits, burnt their homes and businesses down, and ostrasized them went to heaven or hell? Because none of them spent the rest of their life giving away their fortunes and retreating into obscurity doing pious work for churches to repent.
If your only answer is "they believed in jesus" then i suggest you take a theology class at your church. That dogma has lead to this inaction we have and you should be able to answer my question better than that.
Doing good works in an attempt to make up for or outdo sin is 1) not repentance, and 2) not possible.
Faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven; your own works do not factor into the equation.
Idk why you are leaving out context since that is what i was looking for. The before and after are important, since it explains being an instrument of god and why he saves you.. a large justification for the war.
Alright then, let’s look at verse 10:
We are created in Christ unto good works, and we are not a new creation in Christ until after salvation, see 2 Cor. 5:17. The good works clearly come after salvation is already sealed, not before.
Any form of works-based salvation is unsupported by Scripture. The Catholics, Pentecostals, Mormons, and others have all propagated various works-based doctrine, but each and every one of them contradict scripture. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, plus nothing, minus nothing.
This world is an illusion. We are in it but not of it. Most of the people you interact with are soulless tares, manifestations of the demiurge, only a few of us have souls and are from a higher place. While this world isn’t real, your choices here are. If we sin to win, we lose the bigger game. We are expected to be as lambs, and be fed to the lions. We are to turn the other cheek and forgive all. If we do so, then in the end, God will win.
Sounds defeatist maybe, but I don’t believe it is. We went from being fed to lions to being one of the biggest religions on earth. And besides all the above, sometimes you do just have to flip and table and brandish a whip.
Edit: don’t mean to preach, I just thought I’d share my view on your question in case it’s helpful. If not, please disregard. :)
Well, voting in 2024 seems to be what Trump wants us to do at the moment. Election integrity progress has been agonizingly slow, but it’s there, and there’s a growing trend of states pulling out of the corrupt ERICS system.
Does Christianity prohibit self defense? I don’t see that anywhere in my Bible.
Many of our Founding Fathers were Christians and saw no issue with using lethal force in acts of rebellion. The problem today is not an excess of passive faith, but an excess of apathy toward evil and a lack of will to confront it.
Seems pretty clear to me. But then, your cult manual also says its okay to murder children, so...
You also support the Bible when it says to murder all sinners...
So, anyone who murders anyone should themselves be murdered by Christians, who they themselves should be murdered....Make sense? Circular statements by the Bible aren't rare, but when idiots fall for them, I have to LOL
Interesting that you exclusively quote from the OT, despite the fact that Christians are not bound by the Law, a fact that Paul goes out of his way to emphasize in the NT. The only commandments Christians are expected to follow are repeated in the NT.
Smite definition: to strike with a firm blow.
This is not some child throwing a temper tantrum, this is a child deliberately bent on physically abusing his parents.
Firstly, stating that someone will die is in no way an endorsement for any one person or group to perform an execution. You are deliberately misconstruing the text.
Secondly, the Bible often speaks of spiritual death in addition to physical death. Where physical death is the separation of the body and soul, spiritual death is the separation of a man’s spirit from God, and this latter separation is exactly what sin accomplishes. I would have you read Romans 5 for more on sin and death, yet it is clear you have no intention of actually reading the Bible save to cherry-pick and twist passages to say what they demonstrably do not say.
Except that the "magical powers" you claim this Cosmic Jewish Zombie has, have never been proven to exist and the only one that believe these ridiculous claims are children who were born into an irrational, immoral cult who tell themselves their pretend God exists.
And then you sit on your ass and pray that your cult survives what's coming.
There were eyewitnesses to the resurrection of Christ, who not only never recanted under torture and death, but whose witness was so powerful that extremely hostile opponents were convinced (see Paul’s backstory). By contrast, Nixon had 12 followers who couldn’t keep their Watergate alibi’s straight for 3 days.
There is great evidence for a young earth/universe, and the case for evolution grows weaker by the day. You mock the “Cosmic Jewish Zombie”, yet you believe that the universe caused its own existence, and that your own “rational” thoughts are the product of irrational causes.
People convert to Christianity as adults all the time, as do atheists who try to catalogue contradictions in the Bible, only to prove to themselves that it is the most cohesive and irrefutable book in existence.
Wanna try again?
Your "witnesses" were members of the cult and have never been asked by independent people to prove their claims.
Your "evidence" doesn't exist. Your "rebuttal" (pathetic as it is) doesn't provide any evidence to support your irrational screeching.
You're justifying membership in a cult that promotes murder of anyone who doesn't believe your nonsense.

Evidence in favor of creation and against evolution:
Explosions do not produce order
If the CMBR indicates the distribution of matter after the Big Bang, then gravity has not had enough time to pull matter together into stars/galaxies. That’s why Big Bang apologists had to invent dark matter out of thin air to make their theory work. Dark Matter/Energy have never been observed.
Stars have been observed with high metal content extremely close to the origin of the universe, in blatant contradiction of stellar evolution.
Acquired characteristics cannot be passed down to offspring, negating an important mechanism to macro evolution.
Natural selection can only select from preexisting genetic information. Any selection mechanism results in a decrease in biodiversity, not an increase as evolution requires.
The only known way to introduce new genetic information is via mutation. All naturally occurring mutations are either neutral or harmful to organisms.
Vital organs by definition cannot evolve, as an organism cannot live without them by definition.
What evolutionary mechanism produced metamorphosis?
What is the evolutionary ancestor of insects?
What evolutionary mechanism produced sexual reproduction?
Why do you inherently believe in the validity of your own thoughts if they are the product of fundamentally irrational causes?
Shall I continue?
Sorry, the Bible still doesn’t advocate for the murder/extermination of non believers. That’s Islam and Marxism you’re thinking of. Just because you assert it’s true doesn’t make it so.
Those witnesses were willing to die horrible deaths because of what and who they believed in. All of them. Now convince me, as you say using logic and reason, that they were all lying. That the Apostles were willing to be crucified, boiled in oil, sawn in two, and various other torturous deaths, and that not a single one of them recanted their statements.
This world is temporary! Being w Jesus after we leave this fallen world is permanent! I personally don’t care if the world ended tomorrow because I know I will be with Jesus!
Religion isn't under attack. It's just being exposed for the hoax that it is.
"may" not "will". Still can't be a shit bag piece of trash.
Wrong, see Acts 16:31
You will never make it into Valhalla.
What about Horus?
And yet no Christian can prove their God exists using evidence and reason. Sounds identical to the other lies promoted by oligarchs regarding unproven claims of a fake vaccine.
Take the injections. Waste your life pretending that magic sky people live in cloud city. Just don't drink the kool aid whatever you do.
Reject cults. Embrace true morality. Embrace reason.
What is your proof the big bang exists?
Imagine being Canadian, and thinking your opinion matters in an make AMERICA great again forum.
"Reject cults. Embrace true morality. Embrace reason."
Done, done, and done. That is why I am a Catholic Christian striving to live the life of a Saint.
Congrats on deducing the definition of the word “faith” leaf
