My point is that while PV might be HQ'd in Westchester, it's not necessarily beyond the reach of NYC concerns, especially if he got close enough to the Mayor to embarrass him by way of one of his chief staffers that the Mayor had to throw under the bus. I mean, it could just be a coincidence, but the timing's such that it's not impossible.
